bone marrow. CLL is the second most common leukemia in adults and one of the four primary

of blood and bone marrow cancers and chemical exposure. Most people diagnosed with CLL are
white males over the age of 60. Occurrence increases with age and a marked increase after 60.

I forgot to put a period on the end of one of my sentence examples. This is a high focus in a

One thing the film did not do so well was an accurate representation of the Arabian people.
There was a great deal of obvious race bending going on amongst the main leads. Maybe this
could be chalked up to a lack of Arab actors or inherent racism in Hollywood at the time,
however, most of the main characters were portrayed by Caucasian actors. John Justin
and Conrad Veidt, portray the lead characters of Jaffar and Ahmad the sultan in brownface,
whereas Sabu is Indian and portrays an Arabian thief. Throughout the film, I could not help but
get a sense of how the Arabian culture was being romanticized through a Western lens. I could
almost argue that, had this film been directed by someone of a different race other than
Caucasian, the outcome and casting decisions for main leads would most likely have been
different due to wanting to attain a higher level of cultural authenticity.
The Thief of Bagdad was directed by non AAPI filmmakers Ludwig Berger, Michael Powell
and Tim Whelan. Given this information, I can see how someone as a director would want to
glamorize a culture in order to make it more visually appealing to audiences despite it being

When I first read A Raisin in the Sun I thought it to be quite humorous and lighthearted. However
after reading it again for a second time I noticed that while it is humorous, it is also set in a time
