–– 3 easy-to-implement tips to scale remote training during COVID
–– How to properly audit and improve the entire learner experience for remote work
–– Proven tactics to increase learner engagement and reduce information fatigue

Learn how to design a 70-20-10 learning ecosystemSprout Labs
Learning and development is changing rapidly. The focus is moving beyond courses, and the rapid adoption of a 70-20-10 model is a key part of this transformation. The concept of a ‘learning ecosystem’ gives us an elegant way to explain what these new approaches are and how the different components work together. But how to actually design and implement a learner-centred ecosystem is not always straightforward. During this webinar we explored how to make effective learning ecosystems a reality.

New for 2011 is My Learning Pool - a suite of online bite sized chunks of learning which can be bought and used to help improve you and your organisation.
We know that one-off learning events or experiences don't work. Learning is not transferred into practice and most learning is not used on the job. Learning and behavioural change is not easy. The growing interest in the 70:20:10 learning model reflects the need for L&D to focus on more than just courses. Designing how the components will work together can sometimes be challenging. Learning campaigns are a powerful approach to overcoming many of these challenges.
Topics to be covered include:
- The process for designing a learning campaign
- Push compared to pull learning campaigns
- How digital learning technologies can be used in a learning campaign

Implementing 70:20:10 - A demonstration of a Proven Support Solution: Toolkit...David Nichol
Numerous successful organisations currently use the online Toolkit for Managers to support their management populations. We’d like to show you why, by demonstrating how this resource delivers flexible, inspirational performance support for your leaders and managers.
Sales and training departments in the Life Sciences/ Bio-Pharmaceutical/ Medical Devices organizations are under extreme pressure to demonstrate acceptable ROI made in sales meetings and training events. This presentation discusses the importance of planning for after the Event, and outline 3 key steps for sustaining the impact of training initiatives.
This presentation will establish the need for, and outline the benefits of adopting an on-demand training solution that leverages ubiquitous technology and in sync with learners' behaviors and expectations.
The Hub is a new concept about the dynamic fusion of the general session and training experiences. This presentation outlines the benefits of adopting this innovative, energetic approach to experiential learning.
The Hub is designed to break down traditional content, and therefore arrange for "mini-sessions" to engage audience in a much personal nature with facilitators speaking to smaller groups as they rotate between the various interactions.
The Hub works very well in the Life Sciences industry as the audience is media-savvy, well versed with technology and are always busy. We have seen a noticeable uptick in audience enthusiasm and participation wherever we have deployed the Hub concept, and have in turn seen higher scores in the metrics of both engagement and retention.
Face it; we’re not all designers. You may try your web best, but hey, you’ve never been trained in the art of virtual aesthetics. But that’s okay, because we can’t all be digital Bob Ross’s. Come learn the tools and tricks to get your MVP on tap and prototype an app, software, or website for feedback quickly.

There's no such thing as digital strategy : Unilever for Hyper Island Master ...Robert Holzer

SPS Omaha Create a Solid Communication Plan For Microsoft O365 Implementation...Sasja Beerendonk
Have you ever experienced an implementation of new technology, and found people were not aware of what was happening, or when, or what they needed to do? Or worse: there was no understanding of why we are even doing this? According to George Bernard Shaw, Irish poet “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”
This session is about doing communication in user adoption of your Office 365 & SharePoint implementation right. User Adoption is about combining many aspects. Some of these are: project guidance, setting outcomes and measuring results, or learning strategies. And communication is one of them too.
Learn how you can develop your communication plan, execute your plan by setting the right scene and context, and capture and share stories of success. Start with why, and then create your messaging to achieve changes in mind-set, behaviour and actions using different communication channels and aimed at different target groups.
See practical examples from customers to introduce the change, trigger new ways of working, to explain the new tools and features and inform on what-when-where.
You will walk away with a clear recipe to mix your own communication cocktail.

Thinking of Learners as Consumers – Can L&D deliver more than just Compliance...LearningCafe
What if employees were free to make a choice to consume or reject the Learning developed by L&D i.e be consumers? Mandatory learning including compliance courses has been the engine that has driven the adoption of eLearning as it provides trackable, cost effective and a scalable solution to ensure that employees have acquired essential knowledge.
Mandatory learning however rarely addresses the higher level skills and mindsets required by organisations to stay ahead of the competition today such as innovation, resilience, customer centricity etc. Social, informal and workplace learning falls in the discretionary category and have a poor track record in most organisations. Earlier this year we released the “LearningCafe Digital Manifesto for L&D,” which is the result of thinking at LearningCafe about how L&D should adapt to provide value in a fast changing and digitally disrupted world. One of the principles of this manifesto is “Thinking of Learners as Consumers”.
An experienced online panel discusses the opportunities and challenges of thinking of Learner as Consumers.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Client Brief
Talks + Workshops
DAY 2:
Recap on previous day’s
learnings.

DAY 3:
Presentations to client
and industry panel.
Learning how to apply
what you have learnt
back at work.
A Lab is an intensive 3-day course which focuses on a specific topic, such as Social Media, User Experience, Data or Digital Marketing. In a Lab,
you will get the opportunity to engage in workshops conducted by industry experts, while working in groups on a real client and real brief.
The lab is not a straight line. It’s filled with highs and lows, successes and set-backs. Throughout, we place equal emphasis developing skills
around the “What” (the topic you are learning about) and the “How” (how to actually implement it in your workplace/team).
5. THE WHAT
during the social lab, you will be:
• Working with reputation measurement and
management
• Understanding Digital Storybuilding
• Integrating social into existing campaigns and
services
• Applying data insights into social campaigns
• Develop better insights into your target audience
• Exploring the social context locally and globally:
platforms, technologies and trends
• Looking at the changes in consumer behaviour
• Exploring participation: joining conversations and
communities
• Evaluate tools for listening and responding
• Looking at engagement, KPIs, social analytics and
visualisation
6. THE HOW
The aim of the Lab is to create a safe place to fail. A chance for you to try new things, that may or may not work - at the Lab it’s the doing
that counts - not the result!
One week before the course
starts you’ll be invited to a
social network to meet your
group and your HI team.
Throughout the 3-days you
will have plenty of
discussions with your peers,
this is where a lot of the
learnings happen.
Present your ideas back to
the client, get feedback and
evaluate with your group.
Lectures with international
and local practitioners who
will share their knowledge
and experience.
