SESION 2 “SCHOOL OBJECTS“ LESSON PLAN 5
Timetable: Thursday, 10th

Personal aims: work on the new vocabulary aboutschool objects which
was introduced last class to the students. Presenta variety of activities
combining relaxing activities with a game. Make the classes enjoyableso
that the children are able to learn through play. Providea context for the
new unit and engage the students into meaningful activities.
Objectives: by the end of the lesson the students will be able to identify
some schoolobjects and say the objects words, recognizethem after
listening to them and therefore repeat the pronunciation of the new
words.
Language exponents
Vocabulary: bag, rubber, glue, pencil, book and ruler.
Prior knowledge:on the previous class the children have been introduced
to the new topic and worked on some activities about that. Therefore,
they have been applying the knowledgethey already have aboutnumbers
up to 10 and colours.
Grammar: What is it? What’s this? It’s a …
Is it a bag? Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.

ACTIVITIES
WARM-UP
1- We will revisethe vocabulary introduced last class through flashcards,
using the board as a resource.
2- The kids will have to make an activity consisting of following the lines
of objects, counting how many objects there are and finally circle the
correctnumber.
BODY OF THE LESSON
1- Listening comprehension: the children are going to listen to the track
and colour the objects. After that, wewill check the answers with the
class.

2- In the following activity, the children will have to write the number of
objects they have on each part of the sumand then add. Finally, they
will write the result next to the parts they have completed before.

FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITY
1- The children will play a game consisting of making a big wheel go round
and then they will haveto say aloud whatobjects they “win” and of
what colour that objectis. The wheel will be stuck on the board so it
can be seen by the whole class.
