Series circuit is the electrical circuit that
arranged in equal or squence
Disadventages of series circuit are :
- If one lamp removed (dropped) then other
lights go out.
- Flame lights with each other is not as obvious.
- The farther from the power source increasingly
dim lights
Adventage of series circuit is :
- Saving wiring and switch (cost-effective)
Parallel Circuit
Parallel circuit is the electrical circuit that
arranged in rows so form a branch in the circuit
Disadventage of parallel electrical circuit is :
- Wasteful cable and switch
Adventages of parallel circuit are :
- If one light goes out the others stay lit.
- Equally bright lights

1. Resistor Series Circuit

Answer
Use Formula Of Series Resistor
R Total = R1 + R2 + R3
R Total = 15 + 5 + 30
R Total = 50 Ohm
2. Resistor Parallel Circuit

Answer
Use Formula Of Parallel Resistor
1/R Total = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3
1/R Total = 1/15 + 1/15 + 1/30
1/R Total = 2/30 + 2/30 + 1/30
1/R Total = 5/30
R Total = 30/5
R Total = 6 Ohm
3. Resistor Series-Paralel Circuit
Answer
Use Formula Of Series-Parallel Resistor (mix)
R Total = R1 + (R2 // R3)
1/Rp = 1/R2 + 1/R3
1/Rp = 1/30 + 1/30
1/Rp = 2/30
Rp = 30/2
Rp = 15 Ohm
R Total = R1 + Rp
R Total = 15 + 15
R Total = 30 Ohm
