screeningmeantthatwe couldevaluate whetherwe are targetingthe rightaudience byincluding
bothmalesand femalesfromthe reactionsof eachgender. Onthe whole,bothgendersreacted

conventionsof psychological thrillerswithinourshort.Nobodycompletelydisagreedwiththe genre
classificationof ourfilm,althoughone persondidthinkthatit didn’treallyfitintothe genre.
However,thisisa minority.

any lowerbecause of the badlanguage.Some peoplefeltthe ratingshouldbe higher,although
nobodysuggestedthatitshouldbe higherthanan18. This couldbe because theyfeltthatthe
conceptsdealtwithwithinthe filmare toomature fora youngaudience,oritcouldbe because of
howbad theyperceive the language tobe.We feel thatwe have chosenanappropriate rating.A
ratingany higherwouldbe unnecessaryasitcouldrestrictouraudience somewhat(althoughnot
our targetaudience) andthe bannedcontentinthe nextcategoryup(12) isn’trelevanttoourshort
film.

Most othersthoughtthe rating shouldbe lower,buttostickto the BBFC guidelineswe can’tmake it any lowerbecause of the badlanguage.Some peoplefeltthe ratingshouldbe higher,although nobodysuggestedthatitshouldbe higherthanan18. This couldbe because theyfeltthatthe conceptsdealtwithwithinthe filmare toomature fora youngaudience,oritcouldbe because of howbad theyperceive the language tobe.We feel thatwe have chosenanappropriate rating.A ratingany higherwouldbe unnecessaryasitcouldrestrictouraudience somewhat(althoughnot our targetaudience) andthe bannedcontentinthe nextcategoryup(12) isn’trelevanttoourshort film.
