• The most present age at our film
screening was those of the age
between 16-18 as they made up
just under 70% of the audience.
• We intentionally aimed our target
audience at this age as the film
includes some mature themes of
illness and death. However, it is
still a fil accessible to audiences
outside this bracket as shown by
our preproduction interviews.
• All three age brackets have their
own points of interest towards
the film, however arguable the
middle age range is more
desirable as it will be aimed at
new film students / enthusiasts.

film screening 27 were female
equating to around 90%. Within
post production briefing myself
and my partner were expecting a
higher female audience because
of the romantic drama nature.
Male cinema goers are more
likely to be interested in films of a
more graphic and action filled
nature according to recent
studies. Which could explain the
unbalanced ratio of male to
female viewers of our short film.
