comprehension is a skill that is used inside and outside of the classroom, which means it should be
effectively taught. Since this is an important skill that many children struggle with, I would like to
focus on assisting children with enhancing their reading comprehension skills. I would like to create a
program that focuses on building reading comprehension skills through the implementation of drama
techniques.

The Black Hills Of South Dakota
Lets take a trip back in time to 1884 in the Black Hills of South Dakota. A New York lawyer had just
traveled there to inspect mining claims in that region. The man s name was Charles E. Rushmore.
Rushmore was curious by one of the mountains and asked a towns person what the name of the
mountain was. The towns person replied saying it had no name. From then on Charles Rushmore
started calling it Rushmore Peak. Over time it became known as Mount Rushmore (history.com).
During the following years the area of the Black Hills decided they wanted to start attracting tourist
the region. I the early 1920s the state historian of South Dakota, Doane Robinson, came up with an
idea to attract tourist. He thought of the idea to to carve famous historic heroes of the west into the
side of the mountain (history.com). In 1924, Robinson decided to contact the famous American
sculptor, Gutzon Borgium, about his idea. Borgium at the time was working on another project for
Georgia, but Robinson was able to convince him to abandon his project and come

Summer is hot on the heels of Spring in spite of the roller coaster weather pattern some of us seem to
be in right now. Trust me, before we know it we ll be complaining about the scorching heat and
oppressive humidity and wishing we could have just a day or two of those milder temperatures once in
a while. Anyway, with summertime comes the decidedly American tradition of cooking out. Cooking
out is one of my favorite Summer activities. What a great way to kill three birds with one stone. First
and most obvious we all need to eat, even though some of us (myself included) could stand to eat a
little less. So why not cook out? I don t know about you, but for me there s something almost magical

Brian an average teenager is getting on a plane to go see his dad in canada. Before he got on the plane
is mom gave him a hatchet for protection. Because his dad works around a lot of wildlife such as
bears, wolves and such things like that. When he got to the airport, the plane he was getting on was
only meant for two people it was a white small crop duster plane. Plus the pilot and Brian were flying
over the Canadian forests.

As the war raged on, many battles were fought, some swift and glorious, and even more long and
gruesome,The icon of these long and horrible battles was of course, The Alamo. The Alamo, originally
called Mission San Antonio de Valero , was originally a Spanish religious outpost that was converted

systems by controlled manipulation of size and shape at the nanoscale. (Nanomed, 2005) This should
produce a structure or device with at least one new or superior characteristic. The nanoscale is less
than 100nm. CNTs have shown a great deal of potential use as nano carriers for delivering anti cancer
drugs directly to the sight of action. However, CNTs must be functionalized, as pure CNTs are
difficult to incorporate into biological structures due to their insolubility and their tendency to bundle
up. There are two main ways to functionalize CNTs yet the best method is by oxidation leading to
carboxyl based couplings. The tube caps openings are created and holes in the side wall form by

Abandonment and Neglect in Gorazde. In his Safe Area Gorazde Joe Sacco describes his experience
visiting a Muslim enclave during the Bosnian War of 1991 1995. Tragically, this work is based on
testimonies of residents of Gorazde, allegedly a UN protected area where Bosnian Muslims are able to
take refuge to avoid the ethnic cleansing perpetrated by the Serbian army. Gorazde is anything but
protected which Sacco demonstrates throughout the book by ridiculing the UN and the US who are
able to and responsible for protecting the residents of such enclaves, but instead turn a blind eye to

which could be to a few reasons such as measurement error, causing OLS to suffer downward bias,
and LATE. In the case of both men and women there are many observable factors such as ability and
skills on the impact of the years of schooling which can also affect the individual s earnings.
Moreover, IV captures the average return of an extra year of education induced of the compliers
between the two reforms, while OLS captures average return across all people and all years. IV is thus
higher due to higher marginal return to education at relatively low education level.
Whilst I didn t run regressions for the effects of the first reform on women, previous literature has
shown that women typically had returns of around 8.3% (OLS) and 9.3% (IV) from the first reform
