between August 2014 and August 2016. Our exclusion criteria included: age less than 18 years,
patients with contraindication to ERCP (history of contrast dye anaphylaxis, severe cardiopulmonary
disease, and recent myocardial infarction), acute pancreatitis or cholangitis at the time of the
procedure, previous history of ES, concomitant cholangiocarcinona or stricture, or intrahepatic duct
stone.
Patients were randomly assigned to either EPLBD group or ES group after confirming the presence of
large bile duct stones during the initial ERCP. The simple randomization was conducted by means of
random number created in Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The endoscopists were blinded before
confirming CBD stones during the initial ERCP. If biliary cannulation failed or precut was done
during the initial ERCP, the patients were excluded.

sterilization. Sterilization is defined as a person terminating the ability to produce offspring (Pozgar,
2013). Procedures are carried out to males or females to produce successful sterilization. These
procedures are normally completed voluntarily, however there have been circumstances which
sterilization can be performed without consent. The debate of wrongful birth, wrongful life and
wrongful conception is due to improper or ineffective sterilization procedures (Pozgar, 2013). This has
resulted in legal rulings and a determination of damages by the court system.
Wrongful birth is explained as a child would not have been born had the proper sterilization technique
occurred (Pozgar, 2013). Wrongful birth may have legal implications when genetic defects are present
at the birth of the child. In addition, there has been legal debate when physicians have failed to inform
patients on congenital abnormalities when prescribing certain contraception for females (Pozgar,
2013). Wrongful life is described as a claim of a child or parent suffered harm as result of a birth of a
child (Pozgar, 2013). Legal implications include healthcare providers failure to inform parents of

Frankenstein is an ugly, unwanted creature, he and Victor withhold an obvious connection throughout
the novel. However, Victor and Frankenstein also share their differences as well. Victor was raised in a
very caring and loving home. His parents gave Victor everything he wanted and Victor grew up with
great friends. Victor s parents even adopted him a lifelong companion in Elizabeth so he would never
feel lonely. Victor had very strong relationships with those who surrounded him. Frankenstein s
upbringing was the exact opposite of Victors. Frankenstein was accepted by no one and he felt lost and
sad in the big scary world. Frankenstein felt abandoned by his creator and he was out for revenge.
Frankenstein felt that Victor owed him something considering that he brought Frankenstein into this
world. Frankenstein felt more and more betrayed by Victor as the novel progressed.
Both Victor and Frankenstein have curiosity about the world around them. Victor leaves both his
