Theme Of Holy Water By Joan Didion
Bella DeLeon
Instructor Westmoreland
ENGL 1321 16
September 8, 2017 Holy Water Water is important to people who do not have it, and the same is true to
control, (Didion). The article, Holy Water by Joan Didion draws parallelism to the controlling or lack
of control of water by metaphorically comparing water to life. Analyzing the possibility of how people
are taking water for granted, especially where rainfall is extremely sparse, Didion touches on how
supply and demand of a natural resource is solely dependent on its availability and whether or not it is
immediately needed. Didion s use of tone, appealing to emotions, gathering the audience to develop a
trust, and providing a direct insight into her purpose allows the reader to recognize the importance
water has within the planet.
Didion s slight infatuation with water seems to be based on her own experiences in which she serves
as testimonial evidence. As it happens my own reverence for water has always taken the form of this
constant meditation upon where the water is, of an obsessive interest not in the politics of water but in
the waterworks themselves, in the movement of water through aqueducts and siphons and pumps and
forebays and afterbays and weirs and drains, in plumbing on the grand scale, (Didion). Therefore, her
thesis remains strong and reliable, providing a further understanding to the reason why water should
have importance to the world and to the individual. Additionally, drawing on the possible comparison
that maybe water is a reference to the life of a person can provide an idea that life is just as
uncontrollable when it is not being managed. Her tone exemplifies her certainty into how water
gathers from the world and the neglectful actions can cause hardship to society.
Water is not the same and the brilliance of water will never be from one direct location. The
comparison of water to the life of a person provides an idea that the uncontrollable nature of water
serves as a premise for life. According to the reference text in regard to premises, The joining of two
premises two statements taken to be true to produce a conclusion, a third statement, is a syllogism
(Barnet, Bedau and O Hara). Didion s use of a syllogism allows

Controversy Regarding Cannabis-Related Legislations in Canada
There is presently much controversy regarding Cannabis related legislations in Canada, as while there
is a great deal of individuals supporting conditions in the present, there are also numerous people who
are against contemporary laws. It is presently illegal to grow cannabis plants in Canada, but the
authorities allow cannabis to be consumed for medical purposes. Many people in Canada believe that
cannabis should be legalized in the country, with some of the most recent polls pointing toward the
belief that the majority of individuals in the country consider that the substance should not be illegal.
Although it would be difficult to assess the effects that legalizing cannabis would have, it is only safe
to assume that the government should express more tolerance concerning the substance, considering
that more than half of Canada s population has expressed its support in regard to the drug.
Individuals who consume cannabis for recreational purposes are certain that the fact that this
substance is included in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as illegal is proof that the authorities
directly discriminate them on account of their substance orientation.
Canada has a history in debating the use of cannabis and the circumstances when it can be beneficial
for the consumer and for society as a whole. The Canadian federal government encourages protection
for ill Canadians with degenerative health diseases (Jacob 2009, 210). The federal government
considers that the

Danny Duncan Research Paper
One of my main role models in life is the great Danny Duncan. He is a successful, funny, and all
around just a great guy. First off, he doesn t really care how people view him. Usually when he s in
public people look at him weird because he s always messing around or making a fool of himself. But
he doesn t care. He makes a lot of prank videos that could be embarrassing to him but he just likes to
have a good time. Whenever you watch his videos you can t stop laughing. Sometimes his videos are

Usability and Web Accessibility
Assistive devices and technologies come in a wide assortment each designed to address specific
limitations and help those with those limitations lead a normal or close to normal lifestyle. These
devices can help address problems with hearing loss, or voice, speech, or language based
communications. A great number of devices and technologies are now available to help those with
limitations access and use the internet in ways never before possible.
Understanding Web Usability
In order for a website to effectively deliver content to the user, several key factors must be present.
First, the website must be available and accessible. Availability is a straight forward concept where the
website must be reachable and functioning. The accessibility of a website is a bit more of a
complicated issue. According to the Web Accessibility Initiative, Web accessibility means that people
with disabilities can use the web. More specifically, Web accessibility means that people with
disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web and that they can contribute
to the Web (Henry, 2005).
Next, a website must have clarity. Clarity refers to a websites ability to provide visitors with the
information they are looking for. This can be accomplished by designing the website with simplicity,

Essay on The Black Panther Party for Self Defense
The Black Panther Party for Self Defense was the most significant activist group during the Civil
Rights Movement Era. It was founded in Oakland, California by Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale in
October of 1966. The Black Panthers Party was founded to fight for and protect the rights of African
Americans. Believing that the approach Martin Luther King Jr. was expressing would take too long,
the approach Black Panther Party took was more along the lines of Malcolm X more aggressive
theories rather than Martin Luther King Jr. s more peaceful strategy. Although it gained a lot of
support quickly it was ineffective in its main agenda s due to, government actions against them,

The Fires Of Jubilee Summary
Oates, Stephen B. The Fires of Jubilee, New York: Harper Row, 1975
Stephen Oates, in a riveting storytelling fashion, captures the desires and anxieties of the early to mid
19th century, with The Fires of Jubilee.
Oates has performed rigorous study to present an accurate portrayal of a fascinating and mysterious
man, who lived during an extraordinary period in
American history.
Oates begins the book with a thorough biography of Turner. He makes a real effort to show what lead
a man to commit the actions he did. Nat was born on October 17, 1800 in Southampton County,
Virginia. His mother
Nancy was brought to America in 1795. The man who purchased her was
Benjamin Turner, a wealthy tidewater planter. Nancy married a slave whose

Many believed that the British were invading, or even that the apocalypse had taken place.
Meanwhile Nat s lieutenants continued their attacks. Nat remained behind the entire time, possibly
planning what he would do next. In course of the whole rebellion he had only killed one person; a
young girl, who he beat with bare hands. By noon, the insurgents were heading toward Jerusalem and
confrontation. By now many of Nat s troops, about 40 strong, were to drunk to fight or even ride their
horses. Nat was furious with their lack of discipline but pressed on anyway. The Virginia militia was
ready with about 200 men to fight the rebels. When the two forces meet on the road, Nat s force was
crushed, and Nat along with 20 others retreated to a nearby plantation. Nat was extremely tired and
needed to sleep. Nat tried to enlist more slaves, but to his shock they turned on him. Suddenly, all that
remained of Nat s rebellion was Nat Turner himself. Back in Jerusalem, all the captured insurgents
were tried and hung. After six weeks, Nat was still at large, with many reward hungry whites looking
for him. On October 30 Nat was walking through the woods when he heard something. He stuck his
head out from behind a tree

Human Beings Are Not Perfect Beings
On another note, Bailey (2014), referring to a future dominated by driverless cars, noted that, People a
generation hence will marvel at the carnage we inflicted as we hurtled down highways relying on just
our own reflexes to keep us safe. Human beings are not perfect beings. People make mistakes, get
distracted, lose concentration, miscalculate, make wrong decisions, and get weakened reflexes.
However, when humans make mistakes, it is also the humans that recognize their faults, improve on
them, and vow to never make the same mistakes again. Yet, in driverless cars, if the computer
commits faults, who will be liable? Can the computer accept that it made the wrong move? Inevitably,
the blame would direct again to the human beings who ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

them. The danger in this kind of device is the possibility that these extra parts will disintegrate from
the main lenses and damage the eyes of the wearer. People behind Project Loon should ensure that the

Home Automation and Smart Thermostats Google has been working with Nest since 2014 developing
smart thermostats and other home automation systems that aim to create a smarter home for more
comfortable living. The Nest thermostat learns the preferred temperature of the home owners and
builds a schedule around this information (Nest.com, 2017). It can program itself and helps the
homeowner in saving a lot on energy use. For example, if the homeowner is out of the house, the
thermostat programs itself to Eco Temperature; thereby, saving on energy (Nest.com, 2017).

My Experience At The Multicultural Dinners
Growing up in a small mountain town there wasn t very much diversity to be spoken of. However,
thanks to my parents, I was always encouraged and raised to never judge people who may seem
different from myself because no matter the race, religion, gender or appearance, we are all the same
on the inside. My first memorable experience that opened my eyes to the diversity that this world
contains was in high school during a special event called the multi cultural dinner. The dinner
consisted of different families that brought food, danced cultural dances, brought cultural costumes,
spoke about their religion and more all based on their country and culture. I was blown away at all of
the different things that go into each culture, or religion. I quickly discovered that I loved learning
about cultures that were very different from mine. The more obscure the culture, the more I wanted to
learn. From the connections I made and the people that I met at the Multicultural dinners, I was able to
travel to Spain for a month the summer after high school. I can truly say that is an experience that I
will never forget. I not only had to improve my Spanish, because my language was no longer the
majority but the minority. I also had to learn a lot about the etiquette of the spanish culture, try
different foods and much more. This all caused me to step outside of my comfort zone but also helped
me to grow as person and to cultivate friendships and experiences that will last me a

Mood Of Starry Night
The Starry Night: Focuses on the movement aspect. The Starry night is characteristic of Van Gogh as a
representation of a transfigured night sky. Its rare visionary pictures inspired by religious mood.
Bringing along personal meaning and as well a familiar place to him. The piece Starry Night
commemorates the view Van Gogh had from his window when he was sent to an asylum. The piece
conveys what I believe a reflection of Van Gogh s mental illness. Starry Night Over the Rhône: The
painting can be interpreted as two color figures of lovers. The painting can bring a cheerfulness to
individuals who are either in love or married. This painting shows Van Gogh s own interpretation of
light and darkness. Even if Van Gogh s intentions were to have

Once Upon A Time… There Were Two Cats, Katy And Alto, Who
Once upon a time... there were two cats, Katy and Alto, who lived in a boring little town. During the
long summers they would bathe in the sun and sit at the windows watching the birds fly by. Now, all
of this was great, but after a couple months, they began to get bored and wanted something new and
exciting to do. Luckily for them, it was beginning to get cold outside, which meant it was almost their
favorite time of the year, Christmas!
Why do Katy and Alto love Christmas time so much? For Alto, Christmas is the time of year when the
great Christmas tree comes to stay at the house. She loves hiding under the tree, drinking the tree s
water, running circles around the tree, and playing with the ornaments that are placed on the tree for ...

Katy had already lain down for her mid afternoon nap and did not want to get up or play any of Alto s
silly little games. Unfortunately for Katy, Alto is very persistent and does not give up until she gets
what she wants. (She likes to remind the humans of this persistence when they do not feed her quickly
enough!) Eventually Katy gave in and walked over to the tree with Alto. She tasted some of the water
and thought to herself, Why do I let Alto talk me into these things; there is nothing weird about this
water! But just as she was thinking this, she began to feel what Alto had described, and before they
knew it, they were being transported to a place they had never seen before.
Woah! Where are we!? said Alto. There s so much snow; let s run around in it!
Katy was not as impressed because she likes to stay curled up in her favorite chair at home and this
was definitely not her favorite chair or anywhere near home. Alto soon realized that the snow maybe
was not as great as she had first thought. The snow was cold and wet. Cats do not like to be cold and
wet. Even though they each had some issues with this new place, they were determined to figure out
where they were and how they got there. So, they began to explore.
As they were walking around, Katy saw something small and green run into a big building off in the
distance. Obviously they were not going to pass up the chance to check this out, so they ran in the
direction of the building to

Causes Of Judgement
A man walks down a street wearing a heavy jacket and a warm scarf around his neck on a humid day
is ogled at by individuals around him. Regardless of how hard he tries to avoid attention, people tend
to point the man out to their peers, and whisper their inputs on his dressing style to each other. People
of the 21st century have portrayed their high level of intellectualism by making tremendous
achievements in the fields of technology and medicine, but at the same time, they have showcased
their foolishness by forming opinions of other individuals. Judging has turned into a habit for all of
humanity that hurts people mentally and physically. Individuals judge due to their phony ethics and
assumptions. In particular, one s bad upbringing, the insecurity and jealousy of human nature, and the
blind acceptance of information are the three main causes for passing judgement.
Firstly, A bad upbringing is reflected when one lacks the understanding of the idea of individuality,
hence leading oneself to judge others. Passing down wrong teachings to younger generations that
support the ideas of arrogance and selfishness, prevents them to understand the uniqueness of other
independent minded individuals, resulting in the children to judge other people ignorantly. One s
selfishness and pride underestimate other people s gifts talents, and hardships, because they are taught
to think that no one is better than themselves. In other words, a child that is taught to take great pride

The Newest Powered Commercial By Coca Cola Co.
Every professional athlete has his own story which made him as we see him now. Some Journeys were
more difficult than others. However, the common keywords between all of them are the hard work and
determination. Coca Cola Co. s PowerAde started its campaign Just a kid in the beginning of last year.
PowerAde has used inspirational stories of professional athlete, who used to have a very hard start and
they made their path into fame and success, to deliver a message to everyone that no one has chosen
his start but we all can decide our termination. The newest powered commercial tells the story of
Seattle Seahawk football player Jimmy Graham, who had a very tough upbringing in a group house in
North Carolina to a superstar in the NFL. This paper is going to analyze that commercial and dive
inside it to get deep meaning and catch the subtle message beyond its scenes. One of the meanings of
this commercial is demonstrating the notion of the American dream. The mythical believe that anyone
can start from the bottom and by continuing hard work, he can achieve his goal and attain wealth and
possible fame. This meaning has been shown at the beginning of the commercial when it is opened on
Jimmy Graham as a boy enters the Goldsboro community orphanage in North Carolina where he has
been beaten up and bullied by other older boys. While that happens, the narrator was telling the story
of a mouse who fell in a bucket of cream. He tried to survive, but because the cream was thick he

Analyzing Ranc s Vertumnus
The painting by Jean Ranc titled Vertumnus and Pomona shows an encounter of Vertumnus and
Pomona, two characters of Roman mythology. Both Vertumnus and Pomona themselves are references
to antiquity. The basket of fruit that Pomona rests her arm on is a reference to herself as the Roman
goddess of fruit. Although this painting has a Roman mythology basis, it also has ties to contemporary
aspects that a viewer in the 18th century could relate to. Pomona and Vertumnus are painted in a
modern garden or outdoor setting. This painting taking place outdoors is similar to other fête galantes
paintings that were popular during that time in the 18th century. For example, numerous paintings by
the artist Jean Antoine Watteau showed people enjoying themselves in an outdoor setting. ... Show

These characters from Roman mythology are depicted in outfits that were common in the 18th
century. Pomona is holding a dainty sun umbrella and is wearing a fancy pink dress while Vertumnus
is draped in fabrics that you can presume would be worn by an elderly woman in the 18th century. In
addition to that, these characters have modern hairstyles with hair accessories and are painted with
rosy cheeks to make it look like they are wearing makeup which is something that would appeal to the
18th century viewer. Vertumnus and Pomona are painted to look like the typical upper class person in
the gardens living in the 18th century instead of ethereal gods and goddesses. All of these elements

Ischemic Stroke: An Overview
Section One: Introduction My name is Shankar Pattabhiraman, and I am an incoming senior at New
Albany High School. I will be graduating in June of 2016, and I am thinking of pursuing a chemical or
biomedical engineering major in college, or possibly biochemistry or neuroscience. My career goal is
to become a physician, or perhaps a physician scientist. I am especially interested in neurology related
fields, and this interest has been reinforced in several ways: participating in the 2015 National Brain
Bee Championships competition in Baltimore, MD, volunteering at Riverside Methodist Hospital in
the Neurocritical Care Unit and the Stroke and Brain Center, and helping Tony Hall and his friends
who suffer from neurological disorders and diseases. I chose to study ischemic strokes because I am
interested in neuropathology, both clinically and through research. In addition, through my
volunteering at RMH, I have worked with patients who have suffered from strokes, and while the
symptoms onset is sudden, the events leading up to the stroke are long term but rarely treatable.
Section Two: Background
Ischemic stroke is the blockage of blood vessels in the brain as a result of blood clots (thrombi),
causing the portions of the brain nourished by the vessel and its tributaries to be starved of nutrients,
poisoned, and to eventually die ( Symptoms

A Report On Malaysian Flight 370
I have chosen Malaysian flight 370 that was a scheduled air carrier flight on March 8, 2014 from
Kuala Lumpur International Airport near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing Capital International
Airport in Beijing, China. Some of the theories for the aircraft going missing are hijacking,
mechanical, pilot error or etc.... Conspiracy theories vary from the aircraft being hijacked and taken to
a remote location and that the aircraft never crashed there are also theirs that the Malaysian flight 17
that was shot down a few month later has a connection that they were disposing of the aircraft when
they shot down flight 370 and it had nothing to do with flight 17. There are theories that the aircraft
just vanished that it had nothing to do with a ground to air missile, that the plane just vanished. A few
that I think are possible are that the plane was hijacked and then crashed into the Ocean or that the
aircraft was shot down by someone possibly on accident and that is why no one has taken
responsibility. It is very difficult to say what happened to the aircraft due to their being very little
evidence of the aircraft to research. Another theory is that the Captain of the Aircraft committed
suicide and 238 lives with him. This would not be an unheard of thing it has happened in the past and
was done by someone in the Asian Culture. Malaysian Airlines flight 370 was a flight on March 8,
2014 that went missing and only one part, a flaperon, has been found in nearly the two year

Evolution Vs. Fossil Records
Evolution has been a widely known discussion that many people have had over the past century, the
theory of evolution has been welcomed by many scientists yet by some religious people it has been a
taboo topic. The thought or the motion to entertain that humans evolved from primates is what some
people would shudder and state that it goes against all their religious beliefs. However, scientist have
pushed on the fact that evolution is not just a hypothetical or an outlandish theory but a theory that has
multiple hard evidence to back it and that to ignore is ignorance and just plain stupidity. Four types of
evidence of evolution are fossil records, genetic changes, the geographic distribution of species, and
the similarities in embryos of species. One of the evidences of evolution is fossil records, with fossil
records being the remains of plants and animals that scientist have found in sedimentary rocks. Fossil
records have given us irrefutable evidence of evolution in the past, over a course of a long period of
time, proving there is significant variation amongst living things. Evolution is a continuum; all the
minor changes over a period of time add up to a major change. On the continuum, fossils are the
points that displaying what the organism had become after evolving at that stage in time.
Although fossil records are substantial evidence for evolution there are gaps in the fossil records due
to the fact of incompletion of the collecting data. As evolution is

Server Clustering Technology And Cloud Computing Essay
Introduction The current report focuses on Server Clustering Technology and Cloud Computing.
Server clustering and cloud computing are the latest technology used in the world widely. A cluster a
parallel or distributed system that consists of a collection of interconnected computer systems or
servers that is used as a single unified computing unit. Members of a cluster are referred to as nodes or
systems. The invention of Cloud computing has helped in ever faster and ever cheaper computa¬tion.
Analysis  Cluster A Cluster is defined as a group of independent server (nodes) in a computer
system, which are accessed and presented as a single system and in turn enables high availability and,
in few cases, cluster also plays important role in load balancing and parallel processing. Since it is
hard to predict the number of requests that will be allocated to a networked server, clustering also
plays vital role for load balancing to distribute processing and communications activity consistently
across a network system so that no particular server is overloaded. Server clusters can be used to make
sure that users have constant access to important server based resources. Types: Server clusters are of
three types, depending on how the nodes are connected to the devices that store the cluster
configuration and state data. It should be stored in a way that allows each active node to obtain the
data even if single or more nodes are down. The data that is stored on a resource, it is

How Does Darcy Present Elizabeth In Pride And Prejudice
Elizabeth is an interesting individual not because she is a natural beauty and possesses almost all of
the qualities that a man wants but because she wants to marry for love and not money. Elizabeth does
have flaws however, one being that when she doesn t want to listen or believe something or someone,
she pretends she doesn t understand what the facts are and is very stubborn once she dislikes someone.
Elizabeth first meets Mr. Darcy at a ball and because of his poor manners, and expectations of women,
she automatically takes a dislike to him. However, throughout the novel, Elizabeth becomes more
intrigued with Mr. Darcy and eventually sees a different side of him. There are many incidences in the
story that show Elizabeth s dislike for Darcy because of his pride starting with their encounter at the
ball, Wickham s opinions and accusations of Darcy, and her refusal of his proposal; however,
Elizabeth begins to see a new side of Darcy and couldn t think of living a life without him by the end
of the book. When Elizabeth first encounters Darcy at the ball she is very displeased and ... Show

Essay about The Stalinist Terror and Sofia Petrovna
In the book Sofia Petrovna, the author Lydia Chukovskaya writes about Sofia Petrovna and her
dreadful experiences as a widowed mother during the Russian Stalinist Terror of the 1930s. There
were four basic results of the Russian Stalinist Terror: first, it was a way of keeping people in order;
second, it kept Stalin in power and stopped revolutions from forming, made people work harder to
increase the output of the economy, and separated families as well as caused deaths of many innocent
people due to false charges.
Stalin used the media in order to convince the Russian citizens that there were saboteurs and spies

Sofia Petrovna reads the Timofeyev editorial, her boss, Timofeyev, is accusing Sofia for being a
saboteur because she had sympathy for Natasha being fired, another so called saboteur. Stalin and his
mass media propaganda persuade Timofeyev into taking part in the terror, resulting Timoteyev s belief
that what Stalin is doing is the best for the Russian country. The terror stopped revolutions from

Schizophrenic Research Paper
Did you know one percent of our population is schizophrenic? Schizophrenia is a chronic and
disabling psychiatric disorder that commonly presents during late adolescent and early adulthood
(Javitt, Daniel C). Schizophrenia is illustrated by an incapacity to differentiate what is real from what
is not. The way they live can affect their brain functions causing relationships to end because of the
symptoms schizophrenia produce in them, but there are treatments and support that can help with the
symptoms.
It is known that many things contribute to the cause of schizophrenia it is not just one thing.
Environmental factors and genetics can put you at risk of developing schizophrenia. It has been said
that malnutrition and complications during pregnancy ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People may be afraid of schizophrenics because of their hallucinations or irrational behavior
consequently leaving them in isolation. As unbelievable as it might sound being with a person who is
schizophrenic might be possible, as long as people show that they really love them and become more

have to put the effort. Like they say where there is a will there is a

The Medici Of Great Modern Art
The Medici could be regarded as the very first inveterate collectors of great modern art, with their
complicated emotions involved, such as their guilt, ambition of authority, and sexual lust. In the end,
the Medici did not only collect paintings and sculptures; they had changed the very nature of art itself.
Art had been transformed from serving Christianity to personal collecting purpose. Francesco I de
Medici s Studiolo could be marked as a sign of art as personal preference rather than being used on
other larger perspectives. Following up his father Cosimo de Medici s artistic projects, Francesco has
led them to an ultimate conclusion and a glorious beginning. According to the name of Studiolo, we
could infer that this is a place for collecting and displaying one s rare, precious curiosities. The
Studiolo was commissioned by Francesco I de Medici, who also known as the Grand Duke of
Tuscany. Being different from his ancestors, Francesco was only interested in searching bizarre and
fascinating art pieces for his own eyes. Francesco was obsessed amassing exotic objects for his whole
life. Thus, he has built himself a private chamber to store his own collections. The death of the
republicanism brought a turning point for the Medici in 1532. In 1564, when Francesco s father,
Grand Duke Cosimo, the First handed over control of the government to him, he became the prince
regent. Though Francesco I de Medici has not played a highlighting role in the history, and even

Religion In The Elizabethan Era
The two most prevalent religions in the Elizabethan era were Protestantism and Catholicism. When
Queen Mary came into power in 1553, she relentlessly sought out and executed those of the Protestant
belief. She maintained a deep belief in Catholicism until the day she died and Queen Elizabeth began
ruling. Unlike her half sister, Queen Elizabeth ruled the country under the religion of Protestantism.
Rather than mass murdering those who followed the Catholic religion, the Queen chose to make the
religion illegal and use the punishment of fines. This played a major role in why such a large number
of people were conflicted with the choice between their religion and their Queen. Similar issues can be
seen in the works that emerged in this era, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Shakespeare s Hamlet depicts how Catholicism influences characters in their daily lives. When
Hamlet speaks to the ghost of his dead father, his father asks his son to remember [him] (1, 5, 25).
Catholics believe in the existence of Purgatory and old Hamlet s request represents this idea. As long
as people remember somebody who is stuck in Purgatory, they will arrive in Heaven. Before he dies,
Hamlet asks Horatio to draw [his] breath in pain to tell [his] story so that citizens would also
remember him (5, 2, 120). The belief in the space between Heaven and Hell is mentioned often
because Catholics also believe that repentance plays a part in where people end up after death.
Claudius reasons with himself that repentance is significant by questioning what can it not [do] when
he reflects on his past actions (3, 3, 70). Shakespeare emphasizes the importance of repenting through
the actions of his characters. This is further explored by Hamlet when he finally decides to kill
Claudius, but cannot because if he attempts to now...he [will go] to heaven because of the Catholic
belief that those who repent before death will go to Heaven. Hamlet references this when he explains
that [Claudius] took [his] father grossly, full of bread, with all his crimes broad blown, as flush as
May, which is the reason why Hamlet s father is stuck in

Russian and Chinese Advanced Persistent Threat Groups
Utica College
October 15, 2016
Introduction
In this paper I will discuss a total of four Advanced Persistent Threat Groups (APT). I will discuss
their motives, attack objectives, targets of the attacks, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), and
attack vectors. I will propose strategies that would deter and provide defense against the group or that
type of threat. I will also discuss if the APT is state backed or if it is a rogue actor.
The four APT groups that I chose to discuss are APT 28 and APT 29 from Russia, PLA Unit 61398
and PLA Unit 78020 from China. I have chosen these four groups because they interested me while I
was researching the topic. They each have a little signature that makes them stand out. A few are
completely dependent on phishing campaigns when others are more streamlined and actually take the
holidays of their homeland off from their efforts.
Main Body
The first Advanced Persistent Threat Group (APT) I will discuss is APT28. APT28 is also known by
the names: Fancy Bear, Pawn Storm, Sofacy Group and Sednit . APT28 has been active since 2007
and targets political figures, government institutions, telecommunications and e crime services with a
concentration on European and Asian aerospace companies.
APT28 is a politically motivated group and are sponsored by

Reca Protein Analysis
RecA, derived from Escherichia coli, is a multipurpose protein that plays pivotal roles in the three
essential and correlated biological events of homologous recombination, regulation of expression to
unlinked genes due to DNA damage (also known as the SOS response), and mutagenesis. Within this
gamut of processes in which RecA aids, the protein is specifically needed to drive three biochemical
actions: interchanging homologous DNA, processing effector proteins for the SOS induction, and
communicating between mutagenic proteins factors to drive synthesis past DNA lesions. Homologous
recombination, the process in which double stranded DNA split and recombine between segments by
sequence similarity to create new variations of alleles, is facilitated ... Show more content on

The central domain (residues 34 269), containing eight twisted β sheet strands with coinciding α
helices, holds DNA and ATP binding sites and is structurally similar to ATPase domains in DNA and
RNA helicases. ATP will bind at the phosphate binding loops of this domain, found in many proteins
involved in ATP binding (7). Amino acids lysine and threonine live near this P loop and directly
interact with phosphate groups in ATP. Alongside, two disordered loops named L1 and L2 bind to
ssDNA and the duplex DNA. What is important about L1 and L2 is that because they support one of
the essential functions for RecA in DNA binding, they are highly conserved. Between the α helix G
and L2 boundary lie two glycine residues that give a greater interaction between the positively
charged amine groups of DNA helix and the negatively charged sugar phosphate backbone in DNA

Comparison Of Jane Austen s Sense And Sensibility
On December 16, 1775, Jane Austen was born in Steventon, Hampshire, England. She was born into a
middle class family. Her father was Reverend George Austen, a member of the clergy, and her mother
was Cassandra Leigh who came from a higher social rank. Jane was the second daughter of a family
of eight, and she was closest to the eldest sister Cassandra. From this information alone, there is a
pattern present in Jane s work. She tends to write romance fiction novels about middle class England.
Her characters in Sense and Sensibility are generally from the middle class, and the main characters
are females and siblings. Likewise, the eldest sister has amiable traits, and the younger sibling admires
her as Jane views her eldest sister in real ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Inheritance is a very important topic in Sense and Sensibility since Jane stresses how Mr. John
Dashwood acquires all of Mr. Dashwood s money after his death while his sisters get nothing. Jane s
cousin, Elizabeth Hancock, married a French aristocrat by the name of Jean Capotte. In Sense and
Sensibility, marriage is a highly relevant factor in society, for marriage determines stability and
wealth. Hence, Willoughby marries Miss Grey rather than Marianne, the woman he loves, due to Miss
Grey s fortune. Meanwhile, Mrs. Ferrars abandons her son, Edward Ferrars, after he marries a woman
without fortune. Although Jane almost married Harris Big Wither, Jane and Cassandra both remained
unmarried. Additionally, there are aspects of Jane s life that may have contributed to her career as a
writer. Anne Lefroy was an important friend of Jane Austen. Also known as Madam Lefroy, she was a
writer, fond of literature, and kind to the poor (Kelly). Subsequently, she encouraged [Jane s]
intellectual development and may have influenced Jane s occupation as a writer (Kelly). Within the
Austen household, reading was a common way to pass the time, so one family member would read
aloud to the rest. A person s ability to read aloud was considered a valuable skill. In the same way,
Jane s characters in Sense and Sensibility compare and judge each other by skill set, which includes
one s ability to read with passion and style. The characters may also judge

An Interview On Child Welfare
As a helping professional focused on child welfare, educational resources are essential to provide
children with adequate support. Often times, the children s advocates, caregivers and volunteers, need
assistance connecting with the school to secure social work services. There have been countless
occurrences where the child is faltering academically and the school is unaware that they are in foster
care. The teachers are overworked and unable to identity which children are in the greatest need
because there are many who struggle. Linking the advocates with social workers will help increase the
likelihood of the children s success. Increasing the awareness of the children s advocates, informing
them of the available resources, enhances their support system. An interview was conducted with a
social worker for several public schools to increase awareness of the free services offered to families
and children within the district. An interview was conducted with Ashley Fortune MSW, a school
social worker for several schools within Gilbert Public School District. Ashley Fortune received her
Bachelors in Social Work from Arizona State University, subsequently receiving her Masters in Social
Work. Throughout the duration of Mrs. Fortune s professional career, she explored various roles
within the field of social work. Post completion of her Bachelors, she worked in residential center for
people with disabilities. She provided direct care services and assisted clients with

Alan Lomax s Influence On Modern Popular Music
In this essay I am going to give a brief history of John and Alan Lomax, discussing how they came to
be involved with the collection of cowboy ballads. I will then go on to talk about their musical
endeavours between the years of 1930 1980, and how their work had influence on modern popular
music before concluding with my opinion on their impact on music as we know it today and how they
potentially shaped the path of recorded music as we know it.
!
John Lomax was a known collector of folk music, particularly cowboy ballads. Before Lomax, no one
had really thought of cowboys as a source for folk songs. In his autobiography he says that he first
heard a cowboy sing when he was four years old, and that he began to write down some of the songs

American Folk Songs and the prime time television series, Back Where I Come From, exposed
national audiences to regional American music and such homegrown talents such as Woody Guthrie,
Aunt Molly Jackson, Lead Belly, Pete Seeger and The Golden Gate Quartet. Alan Lomax also built on
the interest he had created with his books, records and broadcasts with a concert series called The
Midnight Special at Town Hall, which opened the ears of 1940 s New Yorkers to blues, flamenco,
calypso and southern ballad singing, all of which were still relatively unknown genres at the time
(www.culturalequity.org/alanlomax/ ce_alanlomax_bio.php). Alan Lomax once said The main point of
my activity was to put sound technology at the disposal of The Folk, to bring channels of
communication to all sorts of artists and areas.

In 1941 and 1942 a joint field collecting trip was conducted by The Library of Congress and Fisk
University took Alan into a deeper into the musical and cultural world of the African American South .
In Mississippi he documented styles of panpipe music. In Delta he interviewed and made the first
recordings of McKinley Morganfield, who is now known as Muddy Waters. Alan returned to
Mississippi for the fifth time in 1947 with the first portable tape recorder to make high fidelity
recordings of Delta church services and of prisoners work songs, which he ranked among the worlds
greatest music (www.culturalequity.org/alanlomax/ ce_alanlomax_bio.php).

The Effects Of Universal Health Insurance Mandate On The...
This paper reviews the effects of the universal health insurance mandate in the Massachusetts labor
market. Using a difference in differences (DID) model, this study focuses on the co evolution of
insurance coverage and labor markets. One found that under the recent legislation, workers from firms
of varying sizes demonstrate different patterns with regards to obtaining insurance coverage. While
employer sponsored health insurance is designed to be the primary source of coverage for
Massachusetts residents under reform, two legal loopholes exist in the employer mandate. For mid
sized organizations, the probability of part time employees working without employer provided
insurance has increased.

Similar to Massachusetts insurance reform, the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
(PPACA) also features insurance exchanges, individual and employer mandates, and expanded
Medicaid coverage. Due to the similarity between the Massachusetts health reform and the Affordable
Care Act, much can be learned from Massachusetts s experience on implementing health insurance
coverage expansions and employer provided universal insurance coverage law. In other words, this
case offers insight into how some businesses and their employees might react to federal law
requirements.
Several studies sought to investigate the effect of the universal health reform and its impact on the
labor market outcomes, such as the unemployment rate and average wage (Buchmueller, 2013;
Kolstad, 2012). However, they failed to take into account the potential legal loopholes in part time
status, employer provided coverage and Medicaid, and the impact of companies size, even though
studies have shown that employer provided regulations are not equally demanding to different
businesses (Gruber, 2004).
The primary purpose of this paper is to determine whether the Massachusetts healthcare reform has, in
fact, improved health insurance coverage. If the reform indeed improved the coverage, which channels
were utilized to accomplish this? In order to better assess this issue, one explored the

The Romanian Holocaust And Paul Celan s Death Fugue
During World War II, German concentration camps exterminated and tortured the majority of the
Jewish community in Europe. Understanding the suffering that the Jews went through during this time
is difficult. The Romanian Holocaust survivor and poet Paul Celan wrote the poem Death Fugue in
order to help others understand what he went through. This poem was written in German and first
published in 1948. I will be using examples from the both English translation by Michael Hamburger
and the English translation by John Felstiner.
In the first stanza of there are two quotes which suggest the poem is referring to a German
concentration camp. The first quote comes from the Hamburger translation, he writes when dusk falls

  • 2. Theme Of Holy Water By Joan Didion Bella DeLeon Instructor Westmoreland ENGL 1321 16 September 8, 2017 Holy Water Water is important to people who do not have it, and the same is true to control, (Didion). The article, Holy Water by Joan Didion draws parallelism to the controlling or lack of control of water by metaphorically comparing water to life. Analyzing the possibility of how people are taking water for granted, especially where rainfall is extremely sparse, Didion touches on how supply and demand of a natural resource is solely dependent on its availability and whether or not it is immediately needed. Didion s use of tone, appealing to emotions, gathering the audience to develop a trust, and providing a direct insight into her purpose allows the reader to recognize the importance water has within the planet. Didion s slight infatuation with water seems to be based on her own experiences in which she serves as testimonial evidence. As it happens my own reverence for water has always taken the form of this constant meditation upon where the water is, of an obsessive interest not in the politics of water but in the waterworks themselves, in the movement of water through aqueducts and siphons and pumps and forebays and afterbays and weirs and drains, in plumbing on the grand scale, (Didion). Therefore, her thesis remains strong and reliable, providing a further understanding to the reason why water should have importance to the world and to the individual. Additionally, drawing on the possible comparison that maybe water is a reference to the life of a person can provide an idea that life is just as uncontrollable when it is not being managed. Her tone exemplifies her certainty into how water gathers from the world and the neglectful actions can cause hardship to society. Water is not the same and the brilliance of water will never be from one direct location. The comparison of water to the life of a person provides an idea that the uncontrollable nature of water serves as a premise for life. According to the reference text in regard to premises, The joining of two premises two statements taken to be true to produce a conclusion, a third statement, is a syllogism (Barnet, Bedau and O Hara). Didion s use of a syllogism allows ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Controversy Regarding Cannabis-Related Legislations in Canada There is presently much controversy regarding Cannabis related legislations in Canada, as while there is a great deal of individuals supporting conditions in the present, there are also numerous people who are against contemporary laws. It is presently illegal to grow cannabis plants in Canada, but the authorities allow cannabis to be consumed for medical purposes. Many people in Canada believe that cannabis should be legalized in the country, with some of the most recent polls pointing toward the belief that the majority of individuals in the country consider that the substance should not be illegal. Although it would be difficult to assess the effects that legalizing cannabis would have, it is only safe to assume that the government should express more tolerance concerning the substance, considering that more than half of Canada s population has expressed its support in regard to the drug. Individuals who consume cannabis for recreational purposes are certain that the fact that this substance is included in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as illegal is proof that the authorities directly discriminate them on account of their substance orientation. Canada has a history in debating the use of cannabis and the circumstances when it can be beneficial for the consumer and for society as a whole. The Canadian federal government encourages protection for ill Canadians with degenerative health diseases (Jacob 2009, 210). The federal government considers that the ... • 5. Web Credibility Research Paper Usability and Web Accessibility Assistive devices and technologies come in a wide assortment each designed to address specific limitations and help those with those limitations lead a normal or close to normal lifestyle. These devices can help address problems with hearing loss, or voice, speech, or language based communications. A great number of devices and technologies are now available to help those with limitations access and use the internet in ways never before possible. Understanding Web Usability In order for a website to effectively deliver content to the user, several key factors must be present. First, the website must be available and accessible. Availability is a straight forward concept where the website must be reachable and functioning. The accessibility of a website is a bit more of a complicated issue. According to the Web Accessibility Initiative, Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the web. More specifically, Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web and that they can contribute to the Web (Henry, 2005). Next, a website must have clarity. Clarity refers to a websites ability to provide visitors with the information they are looking for. This can be accomplished by designing the website with simplicity, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Believing that the approach Martin Luther King Jr. was expressing would take too long, the approach Black Panther Party took was more along the lines of Malcolm X more aggressive theories rather than Martin Luther King Jr. s more peaceful strategy. The Fires of Jubilee, New York: Harper Row, 1975 Stephen Oates, in a riveting storytelling fashion, captures the desires and anxieties of the early to mid 19th century, with The Fires of Jubilee. Oates has performed rigorous study to present an accurate portrayal of a fascinating and mysterious man, who lived during an extraordinary period in American history. Oates begins the book with a thorough biography of Turner. He makes a real effort to show what lead a man to commit the actions he did. In course of the whole rebellion he had only killed one person; a young girl, who he beat with bare hands. By noon, the insurgents were heading toward Jerusalem and confrontation. By now many of Nat s troops, about 40 strong, were to drunk to fight or even ride their horses. Nat was furious with their lack of discipline but pressed on anyway. The Virginia militia was ready with about 200 men to fight the rebels. When the two forces meet on the road, Nat s force was crushed, and Nat along with 20 others retreated to a nearby plantation. Nat was extremely tired and needed to sleep. Nat tried to enlist more slaves, but to his shock they turned on him. Suddenly, all that remained of Nat s rebellion was Nat Turner himself. Human beings are not perfect beings. People make mistakes, get distracted, lose concentration, miscalculate, make wrong decisions, and get weakened reflexes. However, when humans make mistakes, it is also the humans that recognize their faults, improve on them, and vow to never make the same mistakes again. • 9. My Experience At The Multicultural Dinners Growing up in a small mountain town there wasn t very much diversity to be spoken of. However, thanks to my parents, I was always encouraged and raised to never judge people who may seem different from myself because no matter the race, religion, gender or appearance, we are all the same on the inside. My first memorable experience that opened my eyes to the diversity that this world contains was in high school during a special event called the multi cultural dinner. The dinner consisted of different families that brought food, danced cultural dances, brought cultural costumes, spoke about their religion and more all based on their country and culture. I was blown away at all of the different things that go into each culture, or religion. I quickly discovered that I loved learning about cultures that were very different from mine. The more obscure the culture, the more I wanted to learn. From the connections I made and the people that I met at the Multicultural dinners, I was able to travel to Spain for a month the summer after high school. I can truly say that is an experience that I will never forget. I not only had to improve my Spanish, because my language was no longer the majority but the minority. I also had to learn a lot about the etiquette of the spanish culture, try different foods and much more. This all caused me to step outside of my comfort zone but also helped me to grow as person and to cultivate friendships and experiences that will last me a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. Once Upon A Time… There Were Two Cats, Katy And Alto, Who Once upon a time... there were two cats, Katy and Alto, who lived in a boring little town. During the long summers they would bathe in the sun and sit at the windows watching the birds fly by. Now, all of this was great, but after a couple months, they began to get bored and wanted something new and exciting to do. Luckily for them, it was beginning to get cold outside, which meant it was almost their favorite time of the year, Christmas! Why do Katy and Alto love Christmas time so much? Unfortunately for Katy, Alto is very persistent and does not give up until she gets what she wants. (She likes to remind the humans of this persistence when they do not feed her quickly enough!) Eventually Katy gave in and walked over to the tree with Alto. She tasted some of the water and thought to herself, Why do I let Alto talk me into these things; there is nothing weird about this water! But just as she was thinking this, she began to feel what Alto had described, and before they knew it, they were being transported to a place they had never seen before. Woah! Where are we!? said Alto. There s so much snow; let s run around in it! Katy was not as impressed because she likes to stay curled up in her favorite chair at home and this was definitely not her favorite chair or anywhere near home. Alto soon realized that the snow maybe was not as great as she had first thought. The snow was cold and wet. Cats do not like to be cold and wet. Even though they each had some issues with this new place, they were determined to figure out where they were and how they got there. So, they began to explore. • 12. Causes Of Judgement A man walks down a street wearing a heavy jacket and a warm scarf around his neck on a humid day is ogled at by individuals around him. Regardless of how hard he tries to avoid attention, people tend to point the man out to their peers, and whisper their inputs on his dressing style to each other. People of the 21st century have portrayed their high level of intellectualism by making tremendous achievements in the fields of technology and medicine, but at the same time, they have showcased their foolishness by forming opinions of other individuals. Judging has turned into a habit for all of humanity that hurts people mentally and physically. Individuals judge due to their phony ethics and assumptions. In particular, one s bad upbringing, the insecurity and jealousy of human nature, and the blind acceptance of information are the three main causes for passing judgement. Firstly, A bad upbringing is reflected when one lacks the understanding of the idea of individuality, hence leading oneself to judge others. Passing down wrong teachings to younger generations that support the ideas of arrogance and selfishness, prevents them to understand the uniqueness of other independent minded individuals, resulting in the children to judge other people ignorantly. One s selfishness and pride underestimate other people s gifts talents, and hardships, because they are taught to think that no one is better than themselves. • 13. The Newest Powered Commercial By Coca Cola Co. Every professional athlete has his own story which made him as we see him now. Some Journeys were more difficult than others. However, the common keywords between all of them are the hard work and determination. Coca Cola Co. s PowerAde started its campaign Just a kid in the beginning of last year. PowerAde has used inspirational stories of professional athlete, who used to have a very hard start and they made their path into fame and success, to deliver a message to everyone that no one has chosen his start but we all can decide our termination. The newest powered commercial tells the story of Seattle Seahawk football player Jimmy Graham, who had a very tough upbringing in a group house in North Carolina to a superstar in the NFL. This paper is going to analyze that commercial and dive inside it to get deep meaning and catch the subtle message beyond its scenes. One of the meanings of this commercial is demonstrating the notion of the American dream. The mythical believe that anyone can start from the bottom and by continuing hard work, he can achieve his goal and attain wealth and possible fame. This meaning has been shown at the beginning of the commercial when it is opened on Jimmy Graham as a boy enters the Goldsboro community orphanage in North Carolina where he has been beaten up and bullied by other older boys. • 14. Analyzing Ranc s Vertumnus The painting by Jean Ranc titled Vertumnus and Pomona shows an encounter of Vertumnus and Pomona, two characters of Roman mythology. Both Vertumnus and Pomona themselves are references to antiquity. The basket of fruit that Pomona rests her arm on is a reference to herself as the Roman goddess of fruit. Although this painting has a Roman mythology basis, it also has ties to contemporary aspects that a viewer in the 18th century could relate to. Pomona and Vertumnus are painted in a modern garden or outdoor setting. This painting taking place outdoors is similar to other fête galantes paintings that were popular during that time in the 18th century. For example, numerous paintings by the artist Jean Antoine Watteau showed people enjoying themselves in an outdoor setting. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In addition to that, these characters have modern hairstyles with hair accessories and are painted with rosy cheeks to make it look like they are wearing makeup which is something that would appeal to the 18th century viewer. Nationwide Children s Mechanisms Of Human Health And Disease Shankar Pattabhiraman Sneha Sharma Nationwide Children s Mechanisms of Human Health and Disease 16 July 2015 Ischemic Stroke: An Overview Section One: Introduction My name is Shankar Pattabhiraman, and I am an incoming senior at New Albany High School. I will be graduating in June of 2016, and I am thinking of pursuing a chemical or biomedical engineering major in college, or possibly biochemistry or neuroscience. My career goal is to become a physician, or perhaps a physician scientist. I am especially interested in neurology related fields, and this interest has been reinforced in several ways: participating in the 2015 National Brain Bee Championships competition in Baltimore, MD, volunteering at Riverside Methodist Hospital in the Neurocritical Care Unit and the Stroke and Brain Center, and helping Tony Hall and his friends who suffer from neurological disorders and diseases. I chose to study ischemic strokes because I am interested in neuropathology, both clinically and through research. In addition, through my volunteering at RMH, I have worked with patients who have suffered from strokes, and while the symptoms onset is sudden, the events leading up to the stroke are long term but rarely treatable. Section Two: Background Ischemic stroke is the blockage of blood vessels in the brain as a result of blood clots (thrombi), causing the portions of the brain nourished by the vessel and its tributaries to be starved of nutrients, poisoned, and to eventually die ( Symptoms ... • 16. A Report On Malaysian Flight 370 I have chosen Malaysian flight 370 that was a scheduled air carrier flight on March 8, 2014 from Kuala Lumpur International Airport near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing Capital International Airport in Beijing, China. Some of the theories for the aircraft going missing are hijacking, mechanical, pilot error or etc.... Conspiracy theories vary from the aircraft being hijacked and taken to a remote location and that the aircraft never crashed there are also theirs that the Malaysian flight 17 that was shot down a few month later has a connection that they were disposing of the aircraft when they shot down flight 370 and it had nothing to do with flight 17. There are theories that the aircraft just vanished that it had nothing to do with a ground to air missile, that the plane just vanished. A few that I think are possible are that the plane was hijacked and then crashed into the Ocean or that the aircraft was shot down by someone possibly on accident and that is why no one has taken responsibility. It is very difficult to say what happened to the aircraft due to their being very little evidence of the aircraft to research. Another theory is that the Captain of the Aircraft committed suicide and 238 lives with him. This would not be an unheard of thing it has happened in the past and was done by someone in the Asian Culture. Malaysian Airlines flight 370 was a flight on March 8, 2014 that went missing and only one part, a flaperon, has been found in nearly the two year ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 17. Evolution Vs. Fossil Records Evolution has been a widely known discussion that many people have had over the past century, the theory of evolution has been welcomed by many scientists yet by some religious people it has been a taboo topic. The thought or the motion to entertain that humans evolved from primates is what some people would shudder and state that it goes against all their religious beliefs. However, scientist have pushed on the fact that evolution is not just a hypothetical or an outlandish theory but a theory that has multiple hard evidence to back it and that to ignore is ignorance and just plain stupidity. Four types of evidence of evolution are fossil records, genetic changes, the geographic distribution of species, and the similarities in embryos of species. One of the evidences of evolution is fossil records, with fossil records being the remains of plants and animals that scientist have found in sedimentary rocks. Fossil records have given us irrefutable evidence of evolution in the past, over a course of a long period of time, proving there is significant variation amongst living things. Evolution is a continuum; all the minor changes over a period of time add up to a major change. On the continuum, fossils are the points that displaying what the organism had become after evolving at that stage in time. Although fossil records are substantial evidence for evolution there are gaps in the fossil records due to the fact of incompletion of the collecting data. As evolution is ... • 19. Server Clustering Technology And Cloud Computing Essay Introduction The current report focuses on Server Clustering Technology and Cloud Computing. Server clustering and cloud computing are the latest technology used in the world widely. A cluster a parallel or distributed system that consists of a collection of interconnected computer systems or servers that is used as a single unified computing unit. Members of a cluster are referred to as nodes or systems. The invention of Cloud computing has helped in ever faster and ever cheaper computa¬tion. Analysis  Cluster A Cluster is defined as a group of independent server (nodes) in a computer system, which are accessed and presented as a single system and in turn enables high availability and, in few cases, cluster also plays important role in load balancing and parallel processing. Since it is hard to predict the number of requests that will be allocated to a networked server, clustering also plays vital role for load balancing to distribute processing and communications activity consistently across a network system so that no particular server is overloaded. Server clusters can be used to make sure that users have constant access to important server based resources. Types: Server clusters are of three types, depending on how the nodes are connected to the devices that store the cluster configuration and state data. It should be stored in a way that allows each active node to obtain the data even if single or more nodes are down. The data that is stored on a resource, it is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

How Does Darcy Present Elizabeth In Pride And Prejudice Elizabeth is an interesting individual not because she is a natural beauty and possesses almost all of the qualities that a man wants but because she wants to marry for love and not money. Elizabeth does have flaws however, one being that when she doesn t want to listen or believe something or someone, she pretends she doesn t understand what the facts are and is very stubborn once she dislikes someone. However, throughout the novel, Elizabeth becomes more intrigued with Mr. Darcy and eventually sees a different side of him. There are many incidences in the story that show Elizabeth s dislike for Darcy because of his pride starting with their encounter at the ball, Wickham s opinions and accusations of Darcy, and her refusal of his proposal; however, Elizabeth begins to see a new side of Darcy and couldn t think of living a life without him by the end of the book. Essay about The Stalinist Terror and Sofia Petrovna In the book Sofia Petrovna, the author Lydia Chukovskaya writes about Sofia Petrovna and her dreadful experiences as a widowed mother during the Russian Stalinist Terror of the 1930s. There were four basic results of the Russian Stalinist Terror: first, it was a way of keeping people in order; second, it kept Stalin in power and stopped revolutions from forming, made people work harder to increase the output of the economy, and separated families as well as caused deaths of many innocent people due to false charges. Stalin and his mass media propaganda persuade Timofeyev into taking part in the terror, resulting Timoteyev s belief that what Stalin is doing is the best for the Russian country. The terror stopped revolutions from forming because whatever groups Stalin didn t agree with he could simply arrest the members of that group. In Timofeyev s editorial Sofia is siding with a Natasha, Natasha is thought to be a revolutionary, because Natasha wasn t said to be loyal to the communist regime, and therefore Sofia is accused of siding with a sabotager or revolutionary. The terror also kept people working harder to increase the output of the economy. The Medici Of Great Modern Art The Medici could be regarded as the very first inveterate collectors of great modern art, with their complicated emotions involved, such as their guilt, ambition of authority, and sexual lust. In the end, the Medici did not only collect paintings and sculptures; they had changed the very nature of art itself. Art had been transformed from serving Christianity to personal collecting purpose. Francesco I de Medici s Studiolo could be marked as a sign of art as personal preference rather than being used on other larger perspectives. Following up his father Cosimo de Medici s artistic projects, Francesco has led them to an ultimate conclusion and a glorious beginning. According to the name of Studiolo, we could infer that this is a place for collecting and displaying one s rare, precious curiosities. The Studiolo was commissioned by Francesco I de Medici, who also known as the Grand Duke of Tuscany. Being different from his ancestors, Francesco was only interested in searching bizarre and fascinating art pieces for his own eyes. Francesco was obsessed amassing exotic objects for his whole life. Thus, he has built himself a private chamber to store his own collections. The death of the republicanism brought a turning point for the Medici in 1532. When Queen Mary came into power in 1553, she relentlessly sought out and executed those of the Protestant belief. She maintained a deep belief in Catholicism until the day she died and Queen Elizabeth began ruling. Unlike her half sister, Queen Elizabeth ruled the country under the religion of Protestantism. Rather than mass murdering those who followed the Catholic religion, the Queen chose to make the religion illegal and use the punishment of fines. This played a major role in why such a large number of people were conflicted with the choice between their religion and their Queen. When Hamlet speaks to the ghost of his dead father, his father asks his son to remember [him] (1, 5, 25). Before he dies, Hamlet asks Horatio to draw [his] breath in pain to tell [his] story so that citizens would also remember him (5, 2, 120). The belief in the space between Heaven and Hell is mentioned often because Catholics also believe that repentance plays a part in where people end up after death. Claudius reasons with himself that repentance is significant by questioning what can it not [do] when he reflects on his past actions (3, 3, 70). I will discuss their motives, attack objectives, targets of the attacks, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), and attack vectors. I will propose strategies that would deter and provide defense against the group or that type of threat. I will also discuss if the APT is state backed or if it is a rogue actor. The four APT groups that I chose to discuss are APT 28 and APT 29 from Russia, PLA Unit 61398 and PLA Unit 78020 from China. I have chosen these four groups because they interested me while I was researching the topic. They each have a little signature that makes them stand out. Reca Protein Analysis RecA, derived from Escherichia coli, is a multipurpose protein that plays pivotal roles in the three essential and correlated biological events of homologous recombination, regulation of expression to unlinked genes due to DNA damage (also known as the SOS response), and mutagenesis. Within this gamut of processes in which RecA aids, the protein is specifically needed to drive three biochemical actions: interchanging homologous DNA, processing effector proteins for the SOS induction, and communicating between mutagenic proteins factors to drive synthesis past DNA lesions. Amino acids lysine and threonine live near this P loop and directly interact with phosphate groups in ATP. Alongside, two disordered loops named L1 and L2 bind to ssDNA and the duplex DNA. What is important about L1 and L2 is that because they support one of the essential functions for RecA in DNA binding, they are highly conserved. In other words, this case offers insight into how some businesses and their employees might react to federal law requirements. Several studies sought to investigate the effect of the universal health reform and its impact on the labor market outcomes, such as the unemployment rate and average wage (Buchmueller, 2013; Kolstad, 2012). However, they failed to take into account the potential legal loopholes in part time status, employer provided coverage and Medicaid, and the impact of companies size, even though studies have shown that employer provided regulations are not equally demanding to different businesses (Gruber, 2004).
