Design and prototype development of public addressing system made for real time
announcements for remote locations like villages, factories etc. Integrated TI based
class AB amplifier for Crystal clear voice. Real time announcement without any time
delay. Individual voice announcement or broadcasting message to groups. EMI/ EMC
and surge protection. Reverse polarity protection. IP rated mechanical design
UGS: Unattended ground sensor
Hardware design for unattended ground sensor for security and surveillances. It
consists of various sensors like PIR, magnetic, geophones. Signal conditioning for
sensors.
Riken Instrumentation limited: Senior hardware design Engineer
 Three phase Energy meter: It is a three phase Energy meter (1 s) designed in
compliance with IEC Standards. The meter is powered up by a flyback topology
based SMPS, comprising of powerint link switch. The measurement is done by a
high speed ADC (Analog devices make) and the microcontroller used is of TI.
The data was stored in the EEPROM through I2C protocol. It also had a
magnetic sensing circuit for Tamper detection and zero crossing detection
circuit. The meter used to communicate serially using RS232 and RS485. This
project was in compliance with IEC standards for EMI/EMC.
Oct 2011 to Feb 2014: LnT (Larsen and Toubro) as senior software Engineer
Energy Meter
 Client: LnT
 Description: Tri vector Energy meter (0.5 s) designed in compliance with IEC
Standards. The whole system was powered by an SMPS (Flyback topology).
Microcontroller used was MCF51EM256 (32 bit, freescale make). The data was
stored in the EEPROM through I2C protocol. It also had a magnetic sensing
circuit for Tamper detection and zero crossing detection circuit. The meter used
to communicate serially using RS232 and RS485. This project was in compliance
with IEC standards for EMI/EMC.
Medical Equipment safety analyzer
 Client: Fluke
 Description: An instrument used for measuring various aspects of Medical
instruments like Earth leakage, point to point resistance, chassis current etc. In
this Project, the earth leakage was current was measured voltage drop across the
resistor. The voltage signal was passed through a signal conditioning circuit
comprising of Instrumentation amp with different gains and RMS to DC
converter and finally an ADC. The ADC data was read using SPI of ARM9
Microcontroller It also used to sense high input voltage voltage using voltage
divider and Op amps comparator circuit. For checking point to point resistance a
current generation circuit was used. Designed as per IEC Standards.

DRCS
 Client: DRDO
 Description: It was a circuit used in one of the missiles of DRDO. It had 48
data lines interfaced with the outside world which were stepped down from 28 v
to 3.3v using optocouplers. The whole project was developed using four layers
PCB. These signals were interfaced with ARM9 microcontroller. Serial
communication was done through RS485. Designed as per MIL Standards
VTS
 Client: In house project
 Description: It was a device used for the tracking of the vehicles and
provides the information like speed, route, Tamper etc. This information was
sent to the main server through GSM using Sagemcom-HiLo V2 and RX210
(Renesas) microcontroller.

Air Conditioning Circuit

 Description: It was a circuit used in air conditioners which senses the
temperature and triggers the compressor in accordance to that or the program set
by the user. The whole data was stored in EEPROM and the controller used was
PIC 16F.

Head Lamp Leveler

 Description: It was a head lamp leveling circuit used in automobiles. It was
basically an interfacing circuit which controls the polarity according to the input
voltage given.

Digital Lighting Solution (using LEDs)
 Client: Limelight Foods (P) Ltd.
 Description: The aim was to produce any colour of light using the concept of
colour generation through mixing of red, green and blue diffused light LEDs.
The project was implemented using DSPIC30f6010 controller and based on
PWM. This PWM was fed to an array of Red, Blue and Green LEDs through a
power Mosfet.
Robotics
 Description: A team of robots was designed to participate in a competition.
The team consisted of one automatic and other manual robot. The robots were
supposed to put blocks over towers and the team which finishes first wins the
game according to the set rules.
Controller Based metal Counter
 Description: It was an metal object counter using Metal sensor interfaced with
AT89S51. Features included alarm on time delay expiry between pair of pulses.
The delay was user settable using push-keys and count display was using seven-
segments and the data was stored in the EEPROM using I2C protocol.
Programmable Switch
 Description: In this interfacing of RTC DS12C887 with AT89S51 was done.
Time was displayed on lmb-162a LCD (16*2). The user used to enter the start
and End time for the operation of the appliance. Time and date was edited using
a keypad.
Digital Photo Colorimeter
 Description: It was an instrument used to calculate the optical density of
different solutions, for medical purposes. The light to frequency converter was
used for this purpose and 8051 was used for processing.
