This document describes a project to implement industrial parameter control through the CAN protocol using 8051 and AVR microcontrollers. The main aim is to allow control of sensors and actuators over a CAN network using microcontrollers as the interface between devices and the bus. The programming is done using Embedded C and RIDE software. Hardware includes AT89S52 and ATmega8515 microcontrollers, MAX485 CAN controllers, an LCD display, temperature and light sensors, and a power supply.
