Abstract
“ROBOT” is any automatically operated machine or a device that reduces human effort, though it may not look much like a
human being or function in a humanlike manner. Advanced, high-performance robots are used today in automobile
manufacturing and aircraft assembly, and electronics firms use robotic devices together with other computerized instruments to
sort or test finished products. Due to the demand of intelligent systems in every field of technology, automated systems are
preferred much for the betterment of the society. The main objective of designing this robo car is to make the world work with
more comfort and more easier way with the way they use today ,as in the recent era there were too many research in the field of
robotics and communication has happened ,so we tried to focus both robotics as by designing a small robocar and controlling
over RF frequency wirelessly for communication as the ease of access is our main priority we tried to focus also the comfort
ability and design a gesture based robotic car. This car not only detects the motion of a human hand but also reacts according to
the gesture, the main purpose of the bot is to make the world work with more ease or where the work of precision or accuracy is
needed it can also be used for the spying and for the field observation or in the industries where the work precision is made with
the use of human hand but it’s not comfortable due to hazardous object, we can have example of industries where furnace
temperature or a pressure is controlled through the accuracy of a knob controlled with human hand but working beside the boiler

This work is based on the implementation of real-time speech recognition using DSP algorithms such as Chebyshev IIR filters, accelerometer for tilt-sensing and establishment of short-range wireless secure link with ARC4 cipher, all using low-cost 8-bit ATmega microcontrollers. The robot implements a simple but effective algorithm for comparing the spoken word with a dictionary of fingerprints using a modified Euclidean distance calculation. It also includes the ability to securely control the navigation of multiple robots located at remote locations wirelessly from the Control Module and also gather the various environmental data collected by the Robot Modules and display them in the back to Control. Considering the time-critical algorithms actually requiring large computations as well as a variety of sensors interfaced in the system, this project can demonstrate how one can build an expansible multi-robotic system from cheap and ubiquitous electronics.

FPGA based synchronous multi-channel PWM generator for humanoid robot IJECEIAES
In this paper, synchronous multi-channel pulse width modulation (PWM) generator for driving servo motors of humanoid robot was proposed. In an application, the humanoid robot requires smooth and beautiful movement, therefore the PWM signal for each servo motor must be synchronized. Since microcontroller (slave) has no enough channels to generate synchronous PWMs for 32 servo motors, field programmable gate array (FPGA) was used as slave for the humanoid robot. The FPGA was controlled by microcontroller (master) using serial communication. Simulation results show the system can perform serial communication, synchronize, and convert data well. The system can also generate PWM simultaneously with accurate duty cycle and fix period of 20ms.

Development and Application of a Failure Monitoring System by Using the Vibra...inventy
In this project, a failure monitoring system is developed by using the vibration and location information of balises in railway signaling. A lot of field equipment in railway are loosening and broken in time period so that they need maintenance due to the vibrations that occur due to high speed trains traffic and railway vehicles impact. Among the field equipment, balises have very important role of communication in terms of transmitting information to trains. In this scope, it is aimed to make maintenance works more efficient, have no delayed trains, detect previously failure location and intervene in failure timely, by detecting and controlling balise cases such as loosening, out of place and the data consistency error that happens because of balise physical state. In this project, the communication is provided with I2C, Modbus RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) and RS485 standards by using Arduino Uno cards and MPU6050 IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensors in laboratory. Each used sensors are in slave mode and computer interface designed with C# is in master mode. Fault situations in the system are checked instant by the interface. (it is assumed to mount the IMU sensor and the Arduino circuit on the balise) it is seen that the interface responds to the sensor movements instant and the system works well in the end of test processes.
A review on various types of software defined radios (sdrs) in radio communic...eSAT Journals
Abstract Software Defined Radio (SDR) promises to deliver a cost effective and flexible solution by implementing a wide variety of wireless protocols in software. The SDR became more popular in recent years because of its abilities to realize many applications without a lot of efforts in the integration of different component. This software based radio device allows engineers to add more features to the communication system and implement any number of different signal processing elements or protocols without changing the original system hardware and its architecture. It provides a customizable and portable communications platform for many applications, including the prototyping and realization of wireless protocols and their performances. It is also able to interface with a separate hardware module to communicate over a real channel. In this article we described and compared the various SDRs that currently has been using by the researchers to study the performance of wireless protocol. Among the SDRs that we focused in this article are USRP, SORA, Air blue, SODA, and WARP. Keywords: Software Defined Radio, USRP, SORA, Air blue, SODA, WARP

An efficient ultra-wideband digital transceiver for wireless applications on...IJECEIAES
The ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is a promising short-range communication technology for most wireless applications. The UWB works at higher frequencies and is affected by interferences with the same frequency standards. This manuscript has designed an efficient and lowcost implementation of IEEE 802.15.4a-based UWB-digital transceiver (DTR). The design module contains UWB transmitter (TX), channel, and UWB-receiver (RX) units. Convolutional encoding and modulation units like burst position modulation and binary phase-shift keying modulation are used to construct the UWB-TX. The synchronization and Viterbi decoder units are used to recover the original data bits and are affected by noise in UWB-RX. The UWB-DTR is synthesized using Xilinx ISE® environment with Verilog hardware description language (HDL) and implemented on Artix-7 field-programmable gate array (FPGA). The UWB-DTR utilizes less than 2% (slices and look-up table/LUTs), operates at 268 MHz, and consumes 91 mW of total power on FPGA. The transceiver achieves a 6.86 Mbps data rate, which meets the IEEE 802.15.4a standard. The UWB-DTR module obtains the bit error rate (BER) of 2×10-4 by transmitting 105 data bits. The UWB-DTR module is compared with similar physical layer (PHY) transceivers with improvements in chip area (slices), power, data rate, and BER.

Abstract A Remote Monitoring System plays an important role in many applications. This paper proposes an innovative design about the development of remote monitoring system for a three-phase 10-kVA Switchable Distribution transformer with the help of a PIC microcontroller and Zigbee-based Wireless device. The PIC microcontroller from microchip helps in controlling the switching devices and monitoring the current, voltage and temperature of the transformer. The Zigbee-based wireless device is used as long range wireless communication between the modules. The information is transmitted point by point using Zigbee transmitter and receiver and is sent to the server module to check the state of the transformer. It has a data rate speed of 250 Kbps with minimum power consumption and has a transmission distances range from 10 to 100m. The data transmission rate is higher than other wireless systems. This is user friendly and can be achieved at low cost. This handles the transfer of parameters such as voltage, current and temperature as digital data from current transducers, voltage transformers and from temperature sensors to the server module through wireless communication. This system helps in reading sensor, controlling switches, monitoring and data protection. Key Words: Switchable Transformer, PIC Microcontroller and Zigbee

This project describes a novel architecture based on Recursive Running Sum (RRS) filter implementation for wire and wireless data processing. UARTs are used for asynchronous serial data communication between remote embedded systems. If physical channel is noisy then, serial data bits get corrupted during transmission. The UART core described here, utilizes recursive running sum filter to remove noisy samples. Input data signal is directly sampled with system clock and samples are accumulated over a window size. The window size is user programmable and it should be set to one tenth of required bit period. The intermediate data bit is decoded using magnitude comparator. The advantage of this architecture is that baud rate is decided by the window size so there is no need of any external “timer module” which is normally required for standard UARTs. The Recursive Running Sum (RRS) filter architecture with programmable window size of M is designed and modules are implemented with VHDL language. This project implementation includes many applications in wireless data communication Systems like RF, Blue tooth, WIFI, ZigBee wireless sensor applications. Total coding written in VHDL language. Simulation in Modelsim Simulator, Synthesis done by XILINX ISE 9.2i. Synthesis result is verified by the Chipscope. Input signal given from the keyboard and output is seen by the help of HyperTerminal.
Serial interface module for ethernet based applicationseSAT Journals
Abstract The introduction of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) which includes thousands of logic gates has made it feasible to prove specific software function on the particular hardware. This reduces the design time and the execution time and makes the embedded system to respond faster as a real time system. This paper serial interface module for Ethernet based Applications deals with the Study and the implementation of the Tri-mode Ethernet Media access control (TEMAC) which is present in the FPGA core. The Virtex-5 FPGA supports the 10Mbps, 100Mbps as well as 1000Mbps but in this paper contains the implementation of 1000Mbps (1Gigabit bits per second) data transfer rate. This project basically deals with communication established between the FPGA core and the PC. The IP core is interfaced with its transceiver module and communicated to the PC using Ethernet medium. The communication established is verified by interfacing the FIFO and the UART VHDL codes to the TEMAC IP core present on the Virtex-5 FPGA. The result at each module is verified on the Chipscope pro analyzer and the packet transmitted from FPGA to the PC is verified on the Wireshark software. Key Words: FPGA, Ethernet, TEMAC core , and Gigabit.

Master slave autonomous surveillance bot for military applicationseSAT Journals
Abstract Defense and surveillance are some of the most important aspects in today's society. In a place where knowledge translates to power, having a little more information can make a lot of difference in the outcome of any conflict. Therefore, the military is always looking for new technologies to improve their preparedness for any event. Knowing their surroundings and the battlefield well beforehand can turn the tables on the battlefront and can possibly save lives. In this paper, the protocol for detection and wireless transmission of this data has been illustrated and the various problem statements regarding locomotion, ranging, defense, temperature, moisture and various other parameters have been resolved and implemented. The intercommunication between master and slave bots is demonstrated and used to transmit and receive data and instructions to one another. The bots perform tasks that would normally be too extreme for humans to do. All the information is also stored as a database while some of the data can also be published for the information of the public. Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
