• The project is designed to develop a robotic 
vehicle using RF technology for remote 
operation attached with wireless camera for 
monitoring purpose. The robot along with 
camera can wirelessly transmit real time 
video. This kind of robot can be helpful for 
spying purpose in war fields , scientific 
research etc.

Bluetooth module
Temperature sensing by LM35 using 
ADC0804 
• The temperature sensing device is fitted on the 
robot and it senses the temperature of the 
surroundings using sensor LM35 the data then is 
sent to the ADC0804 that converts the analog 
temperature into Digital and the digital data is 
sent serially by the Bluetooth module HC05t 
Transmitter to the Receiver where it is received 
and displayed at the screen. 
• All this is carried by using the controller by 
ATMEL AT89C51.
RF BASED Receiver
• This RF module comprises of an RF Transmitter and an RF 
Receiver. The 
• Transmitter/receiver (Tx /Rx) pair operates at a frequency of 434 
MHz. 
– An RF transmitter receives serial data and transmits it wirelessly 
through RF through its antenna connected at pin4. 
– The transmission occurs at the rate of 1Kbps - 10Kbps.The 
transmitted data is received by an RF receiver operating at the same 
frequency as that of the transmitter. 
• The RF module is often used along with a pair of encoder/decoder. 
– The encoder is used for encoding parallel data for transmission 
feed while reception is decoded by a decoder. 
– HT12E-HT12D, HT640-HT648, etc. are some commonly used 
encoder/decoder pair ICs.
Merits 
• Real time Live video streaming. 
• Less implementation cost. 
• Compact in size 
• Can operate at any time of the day. 
• If the robot gets damaged any how still we 
have the data. As the data is stored in the 
home computer.
Demerits 
• The operating range for the robot is limited to 
100mtrs. 
• It is designed for plane surfaces where it can 
move very perfectly but the wheels will not 
work on rough bases. 
• The power requirement is fullfilled using 9v 
batteries so when they get discharged they 
need to be replaced.
• Implementation of serial communication over 
a wireless link. 
• Working with airdroid app efficiently. 
• Efficient motion control of a robot.
