NTT DATA- DENVER, CO, 02/2014-PRESENT
SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT / HOSTING OPERATIONS MANAGER
Improved the process for Application Managed Services practice (AMS) to host the LAWSON /
INFOR applications on NTT managed servers and infrastructure.
 As the Architect responsible for developing clear and concise methods to migrate customers
from their current environment to the NTT owned Raging Wire facilities.
 Worked tirelessly to find performance bottlenecks in newly provisioned servers.
 Tier 3 support for Problem Management tickets, some of the hardest problems get sent to
me for resolution.
 Test drove new tools for finding Database Performance bottlenecks and selected a vendor
and implemented the new tool to help in Database Performance Analysis.
 Built processes and procedures for the Maintenance and Monitoring of current and future
systems. Script processes to remove the manual effort and automate maintenance.
 Meet with potential customers to demonstrate the technical proficiencies NTT has to offer.
 Implement new ideas and concepts.
 Provided workaround to allow Infrastructure to perform SNAP copies without impacting
performance or causing Production Systems Outages.
 Create a CMDB to allow the Change Management process to be ITIL compliant.
 Built development lab in order to test new products and improve our on boarding process.

CIBER– DENVER, CO, 04/2013-02/2014
Director of Infrastructure
Prepared the Managed Services practice to start hosting the LAWSON / INFOR applications on
CIBER managed servers and infrastructure.
Selected Achievements:
 As Director of Infrastructure responsible for building new Virtual Private Data Centers
(VPDC’s), VPN connections to private VLANs, and new servers for hosted customers.
 Implemented ITIL best practices for security, data backups, and all Architecture designs.
 Designed and implemented Disaster Recovery methods from one data center to another.
 Performance evaluation using HP Load Runner.
 ITIL version 3 certified.
 Worked with vendors to improve the CLOUD offering.

SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT / OPERATIONS MANAGER
I had the unique opportunity to work with over 270 companies on hundreds of different servers
of every flavor. This allowed me to not only see every different type of issue, but to become
more proficient at Lawson and all the ancillary apps like Landmark, LBI, LBP, Process Flow, PSA,
Kronos, Hyperion, Epic and just about every application that goes with Lawson. I am an excellent
team leader and solve the most complex problems that arise in IT. I have hands on knowledge
of networking, servers, and all applications hosted at VTS. Honed MSCM skills to become the SME
on Mobile Supply Chain.
Selected Achievements:
 Managed all Production Support issues, and improved efficiency.
 Enjoy new challenges and learning new technologies.
 Provision new servers and install applications connecting to UNIX using SAMBA.
 Developed a method to provide benchmarking in order to compare system performanc e
before and after changes or upgrades.
 Received Lawson Landmark Application Installation training for version 10 in July 2012.
 Documented several solutions for VTS growing knowledgebase that provided the tier 1 and
2 support with the ability to resolve issues themselves rather than escalate to tier 3.
 Able to learn quickly and find the most efficient method of reaching the end solution.
 Served as a network engineer when VTS had none.
 Provide training on everything from being more efficient to working with bolt on apps like
PFLOW, LBI, EDI, MSCM and others, in an effort to allow the level 1 and 2 techs to
advance to tier 3.
 Worked independently without supervision, or in a close group on projects.
 Able to multitask and provide support for over 25 tier 1 and 2 techs, while managing
Production Operations.
 Received customer feedback indicating they were renewing their contract specifically

CATHOLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES - CHI – ENGLEWOOD, CO, 12/2006-08/2008
LAWSON UNIX ADMINISTRATOR
Honed Lawson technical skills on version 8 and 9 while working for the largest Lawson customer
in the world. This included ESP’s, MSP’s, and CTP’s as well as keeping custom programs synced
across multiple environments.
 Implemented a patch management process to document what CTP’s were installed and
where to keep product lines documented with scientific clarity.
 Reduced TCO by improving processes and allowing reduction in staff from 3 Lawson
Administrators to 1.
 Worked closely with functional team to provide full functionality while implementing
customized programs.
 Managed weekly meetings with all stakeholders to discuss needs or issues with all 25
product lines and over 70 data areas.
 Developed a process using Jira to track customized programs.
 Refined processes to improve the resolution time of Lawson application issues.
 Installed several new environments from scratch then documented procedures to make
the product lines identical to others for purposes of the largest rollout of Lawson ever.
TANDEM HEALTH CARE – Maitland, FL, 9/2001-7/2006
Director of IT Operations
Earned several promotions to plan and execute strategies to streamline operations, enhance
technical capabilities, and reduce costs through technology leadership and skill. Manage design,
integration, and complex troubleshooting functions for hundreds of servers, routers, and switches
spread out in over 150 locations. Spearhead systems improvements and manage Hyperion,
Lawson, Kronos and ALL other applications. Negotiate with vendors. Oversee thirty one dedicated
personnel. Report to the CIO.
Selected Achievements:
 Responsible for every application and system in the company.
 Maintained hundreds of servers, several SQL servers, multiple windows clustered servers
as well as Exchange and Symantec CUBE email server.
 Trained on IRONPORT C30 appliances and implemented 2 of these clustered together to
clean SPAM for multiple companies we were acquiring so the email could be cleaned and
converted to parent company email domain.
 Recommended, installed and managed a Dell EMC CX500 SAN with Mcdata switches and
maintained updates and upgrades.
 Installed and managed a Dell Clarion PV650 and PV630 with Brocade switches.
 Received certificate for training: Dell Enterprise Storage Network Training.
 Performed flare code upgrades to the CX500 and created LUNs used for several windows
clusters, and SQL clusters.
 Managed several teams including Network, Server, Security, Business Analysts, Help
Desk, and provided mentoring and training to over 31 IT members.
 Installed Lawson 7x on New server and migrated several times to assure minimal
downtime during migration.
 Installed Lawson 8.0.3 on new server in 2005 and migrated from 7.2.4 to new server
then converted this temporary product line to 8.0.3.
 Migrated all systems to CX500 SAN, created LUNs for SQL installed as a clustered
instance.
 Maintained patches to all Lawson servers this included CTP’s, MSP’s and ESP’s
CIBER, INC. – Pittsburgh, PA, 5/1998-8/2001

Served in hands-on roles to support the daily operations and technical advancement of companies
in diverse industries. Worked with a wide range of technologies and performed installations,
maintenance and repairs, integrations, and troubleshooting functions.
Selected Projects and Achievements:
 Marconi – Provided advanced technical support for all broadband routing and switching
products for ATM and Ethernet. Configured switches and loaded/upgraded the operating
system. Pinpointed and resolved network problems.
 QUALMED – Maintained and administered Novell 4.1 networks for West Virginia, Ohio,
and Pennsylvania territories. Developed an Access database to translate downloaded
data into usable reports. Installed and maintained a video conferencing system.
 Allegheny County Department of Human Services – Installed and configured
networks and hardware for eight offices, each with 100+ workstations. Reduced
installation time for NT operating systems from one+ hour to five minutes.
 Pittsburgh International Airport Saber Project – Ensured optimal connectivity and
functionality by maintaining 13 NT 4.0 servers, one Novell 3.12 server, and five OS2
servers. Created a mini-domain within US Airways.
SILK & STEWARD DEVELOPMENT – Pittsburgh, PA, 1/1996-4/1998

Played a collaborative role in the design, implementation, and administration of three Novell
networks at two locations. Upgraded servers and applications. Purchased, installed, and
maintained hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

 Played a key role in designing a 4.10 Novell network from wire pulling to server and
software installation.

Script processes to remove the manual effort and automate maintenance.  Meet with potential customers to demonstrate the technical proficiencies NTT has to offer.  Implement new ideas and concepts.  Provided workaround to allow Infrastructure to perform SNAP copies without impacting performance or causing Production Systems Outages.  Create a CMDB to allow the Change Management process to be ITIL compliant.  Built development lab in order to test new products and improve our on boarding process.  Developed a method to provide benchmarking in order to compare system performanc e before and after changes or upgrades.  Worked with company VP’s to provide my suggested changes in how the CLOUD services are provided to future customers.

CIBER– DENVER, CO, 04/2013-02/2014 Director of Infrastructure Prepared the Managed Services practice to start hosting the LAWSON / INFOR applications on CIBER managed servers and infrastructure. Selected Achievements:  As Director of Infrastructure responsible for building new Virtual Private Data Centers (VPDC’s), VPN connections to private VLANs, and new servers for hosted customers.  Implemented ITIL best practices for security, data backups, and all Architecture designs.  Designed and implemented Disaster Recovery methods from one data center to another.  Performance evaluation using HP Load Runner.  ITIL version 3 certified.  Worked with vendors to improve the CLOUD offering. VELOCITY TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS - VTS – MANHATTAN, NY, 08/2008-04/2013 SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT / OPERATIONS MANAGER I had the unique opportunity to work with over 270 companies on hundreds of different servers of every flavor. This allowed me to not only see every different type of issue, but to become more proficient at Lawson and all the ancillary apps like Landmark, LBI, LBP, Process Flow, PSA, Kronos, Hyperion, Epic and just about every application that goes with Lawson. I am an excellent team leader and solve the most complex problems that arise in IT. I have hands on knowledge of networking, servers, and all applications hosted at VTS. Honed MSCM skills to become the SME on Mobile Supply Chain. Selected Achievements:  Managed all Production Support issues, and improved efficiency.  Enjoy new challenges and learning new technologies.  Provision new servers and install applications connecting to UNIX using SAMBA.  Developed a method to provide benchmarking in order to compare system performanc e before and after changes or upgrades.  Received Lawson Landmark Application Installation training for version 10 in July 2012.  Documented several solutions for VTS growing knowledgebase that provided the tier 1 and 2 support with the ability to resolve issues themselves rather than escalate to tier 3.  Able to learn quickly and find the most efficient method of reaching the end solution.  Served as a network engineer when VTS had none.  Provide training on everything from being more efficient to working with bolt on apps like PFLOW, LBI, EDI, MSCM and others, in an effort to allow the level 1 and 2 techs to advance to tier 3.  Worked independently without supervision, or in a close group on projects.  Able to multitask and provide support for over 25 tier 1 and 2 techs, while managing Production Operations.  Received customer feedback indicating they were renewing their contract specifically because of my dedication to their needs.  Provided detailed training on UNIX as well as the applications to staff via scheduled WebEx sessions that were recorded and stored in a training repository developed by me.

CATHOLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES - CHI – ENGLEWOOD, CO, 12/2006-08/2008 LAWSON UNIX ADMINISTRATOR Honed Lawson technical skills on version 8 and 9 while working for the largest Lawson customer in the world. This included ESP’s, MSP’s, and CTP’s as well as keeping custom programs synced across multiple environments.  Implemented a patch management process to document what CTP’s were installed and where to keep product lines documented with scientific clarity.  Reduced TCO by improving processes and allowing reduction in staff from 3 Lawson Administrators to 1.  Worked closely with functional team to provide full functionality while implementing customized programs.  Managed weekly meetings with all stakeholders to discuss needs or issues with all 25 product lines and over 70 data areas.  Developed a process using Jira to track customized programs.  Refined processes to improve the resolution time of Lawson application issues.  Installed several new environments from scratch then documented procedures to make the product lines identical to others for purposes of the largest rollout of Lawson ever. TANDEM HEALTH CARE – Maitland, FL, 9/2001-7/2006 Director of IT Operations Earned several promotions to plan and execute strategies to streamline operations, enhance technical capabilities, and reduce costs through technology leadership and skill. Manage design, integration, and complex troubleshooting functions for hundreds of servers, routers, and switches spread out in over 150 locations. Spearhead systems improvements and manage Hyperion, Lawson, Kronos and ALL other applications. Negotiate with vendors. Oversee thirty one dedicated personnel. Report to the CIO. Selected Achievements:  Responsible for every application and system in the company.  Maintained hundreds of servers, several SQL servers, multiple windows clustered servers as well as Exchange and Symantec CUBE email server.  Trained on IRONPORT C30 appliances and implemented 2 of these clustered together to clean SPAM for multiple companies we were acquiring so the email could be cleaned and converted to parent company email domain.  Recommended, installed and managed a Dell EMC CX500 SAN with Mcdata switches and maintained updates and upgrades.  Installed and managed a Dell Clarion PV650 and PV630 with Brocade switches.  Received certificate for training: Dell Enterprise Storage Network Training.  Performed flare code upgrades to the CX500 and created LUNs used for several windows clusters, and SQL clusters.  Managed several teams including Network, Server, Security, Business Analysts, Help Desk, and provided mentoring and training to over 31 IT members.  Installed Lawson 7x on New server and migrated several times to assure minimal downtime during migration.  Installed Lawson 8.0.3 on new server in 2005 and migrated from 7.2.4 to new server then converted this temporary product line to 8.0.3.  Migrated all systems to CX500 SAN, created LUNs for SQL installed as a clustered instance.  Maintained patches to all Lawson servers this included CTP’s, MSP’s and ESP’s
  • 4. CIBER, INC. – Pittsburgh, PA, 5/1998-8/2001 Consultant Served in hands-on roles to support the daily operations and technical advancement of companies in diverse industries. Worked with a wide range of technologies and performed installations, maintenance and repairs, integrations, and troubleshooting functions. Selected Projects and Achievements:  Marconi – Provided advanced technical support for all broadband routing and switching products for ATM and Ethernet. Configured switches and loaded/upgraded the operating system. Pinpointed and resolved network problems.  QUALMED – Maintained and administered Novell 4.1 networks for West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania territories. Developed an Access database to translate downloaded data into usable reports. Installed and maintained a video conferencing system.  Allegheny County Department of Human Services – Installed and configured networks and hardware for eight offices, each with 100+ workstations. Reduced installation time for NT operating systems from one+ hour to five minutes.  Pittsburgh International Airport Saber Project – Ensured optimal connectivity and functionality by maintaining 13 NT 4.0 servers, one Novell 3.12 server, and five OS2 servers. Created a mini-domain within US Airways. SILK & STEWARD DEVELOPMENT – Pittsburgh, PA, 1/1996-4/1998 Director of IT Operations Played a collaborative role in the design, implementation, and administration of three Novell networks at two locations. Upgraded servers and applications. Purchased, installed, and maintained hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Selected Achievements:  Researched and selected technical equipment to enhance the capabilities and communications of the company.  Played a key role in designing a 4.10 Novell network from wire pulling to server and software installation.  Provided support for 3.12 and 3.11 Novell networks that significantly improved the transfer and sharing of account data and databases for 35 partnerships.
