Restaurant Evaluation Essay
Crafting a Restaurant Evaluation Essay can be both an intriguing and challenging task. The
difficulty lies not only in conveying personal opinions but also in maintaining objectivity
throughout the evaluation. One must carefully balance subjective experiences with an analytical
approach, considering various aspects such as ambiance, service, and, of course, the quality of
the food.
The challenge intensifies when attempting to strike a chord with readers who may not share the
same taste preferences or cultural background. Effective communication becomes crucial to
ensure that the essay resonates with a diverse audience. It requires the writer to employ vivid
descriptions, appealing to the senses, to create a comprehensive and immersive experience for the
reader.
Furthermore, conducting thorough research is essential to provide a well-rounded evaluation.
This involves exploring the restaurant's history, chef's background, and any unique culinary
approaches. It's not merely about expressing personal likes or dislikes; the essay should be
enriched with a blend of factual information and thoughtful analysis.
In addition, maintaining a structured and coherent narrative poses its own set of challenges. The
essay should flow seamlessly, transitioning between different aspects of the restaurant without
losing the reader's interest. Striking the right balance between detail and conciseness is vital to
keep the essay engaging.
Despite the complexities, the opportunity to share genuine insights and recommendations with
others can make the writing process rewarding. It requires a careful blend of subjectivity and
objectivity, creating a piece that not only communicates personal experiences but also provides
valuable information for potential visitors.
In conclusion, crafting a compelling Restaurant Evaluation Essay demands a combination of
personal experiences, thorough research, and effective communication skills. It is a task that goes
beyond mere expression of likes and dislikes, requiring the writer to carefully navigate the
intricacies of both subjective and objective analysis. It is through this delicate balance that a truly
impactful evaluation essay emerges.

The Effects Of Counterfeited Drugs On Pharmaceutical...
The Effect of Counterfeited Drugs on Pharmaceutical Companies The market for
counterfeit pharmaceuticals has grown exponentially in the last five years.
According to an estimate published by the Center for Medicine in the Public
Interest in the USA, Worldwide sales of counterfeit medicines could top US$ 75
billion this year, a 90% rise in five years (WHO, 2010). This massive rise has
greatly affected pharmaceutical companies and law enforcement agencies. The data
exposing the effects the counterfeit industry has on companies does not seem to be
public knowledge. Chris Jenkins is a founding member of the Pharmaceutical
Security Institute which is a Not for profit corporation formed by the major drug
companies to collate their fake drug information to cooperate in fighting the racket.
Based in Vienna, Virginia, United States, the PSI holds the only known
comprehensive and updated source of fake drug information (Cockburn et al.
2005). He explains that, It is necessary to keep fake drug information confidential
for commercial reasons...to avoid media leaks and to prevent the possibility of rival
drug companies taking unfair commercial advantage of a victim company (Cockburn
et al. 2005). The purpose of keeping the data a secret from the public is a matter of
protecting the reputations of not only each company, but also each operational
division within a company who are fighting to meet sales targets. When one
pharmaceutical company is singled out as having their

Kinetics of the Reaction Between Acetone and Iodine Essay
Experiment A1:
Kinetics of the Reaction between Acetone and Iodine
The key aim of this experiment was to determine the rate equation for the acid
catalysed iodination of acetone and to hence consider the insinuations of the
mechanism of the rate equation obtained.
The stoichiometric equation for the reaction between iodine and acetone is below,
followed by the rate equation (where x,y,z and k are the values to be obtained):
I2 + CH3COCH3 CH3COCH2I + HI
d[I2]/dt = k [I2]x [CH3COCH3]y [H+]z
The procedure was performed as follows: For run 1, 20cm3 of acetone, 10cm3 of
sulphuric acid and 145cm3 of water was added to a conical flask. 25cm3 of iodine
was then added to this solution which started the reaction and immediately, 20cm3 ...

For run 2: (7 9)/(14 9) = 0.4

The equation of the line in run 1 between the two points is y y1 = m(x x1) y 4.4=

With a reputation as a faith healer, and firmly believing that the baptism of the
Holy Ghost should be physical evidence of the Holy Spirit in every believer s life,
Parham, then living in Topeka, Kansas, issued a challenge to students at the
Topeka school to discover the biblical evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism. Parham
was himself seeking scriptural proof of this experience, and later on, in January of
1901, when asked to pray for a student so that she would experience the gift of
tongues, the woman began to speak in Chinese and could speak no other language
for three days. This was proof to Parham, at least, of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Security Analysis of an Electronic Voting System
Abstract
Fundamental right to vote or simply voting in elections forms the basis of
democracy. Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) is a simple electronic device used to
record votes in place of ballot papers and boxes which were used earlier in
conventional voting system .With significant U.S. federal funds we now have
replaced the outdated punch card and mechanical voting systems, and are adopting
paperless electronic voting systems from a number of different vendors. My analysis
shows that this voting system is below the minimal security standards. Threats of
computer viruses or hacker orchestrated attacks are most commonly mentioned as
problems that could compromise an election and public confidence in electronic
voting. Other potential technical problems or issues include power outages or
malfunctions in Internet connectivity as well as the possibility of servers shutting
down or crashing. The reliable recording and storage of votes is also an important
consideration, I conclude that this voting system is unsuitable for use in a general
election. Any paperless electronic voting system might suffer similar flaws, despite
any certification it could have otherwise received. I suggest that the best solutions are
voting systems having a voter verifiable audit trail, where a computerized voting
system might print a paper ballot that can be read and verified
Mansfield Short Stories
Through her short stories you feel the emotional connection within the characters.
She was a young New Zealand who was dying with a disease called Tuberculosis,
dying at the age of 34. Successfully, she wrote three books with a fourth and fifth
book following after her death. There were many trigger points that led her to
become a writer, they were moving back to New Zealand, her brother s deathin World
War 1, and her sensations with how women were treated. Her stories were described
as blurred edges of personality, the poetry of feelingand the expansiveness of the
interior life. (Wilkins) One may argue that Mansfield works never romances the
tragedies of modern women, but rather sympathizes with the women she portrays as
she suspends the happy ending.
The women at the store, describes the emotion of a lonely lower class woman with a
young bratty child and a mangy dog running the store. Two men named Jo and Jim
ride up on the store expressing their first impressions as the women being ugly. The
men question her husband s whereabouts, she is confused and changes the subject to
avoid answering the question. One of the men suggests she comes down to the
paddock with tea, instead, she quickly responds I don t fancy it. One may argue that
her response indicates that she is not high class. Rather express the solitude she
endures every day. She exposes her night gown to the men in the motion of dropping
the blanket that was covering her. Giving the meaning she desires the
Kennedy Ich Bin Ein Berliner Research Paper
There were two famous speeches given at the Berlin wall about freedom, taking
down the wall, and bringing East and West Berlin together once again. One of
these speeches was president John F. Kennedy s Ich bin ein Berliner speech. It
was given June 26, 1963. The other speech was Ronald Reagan s address from the
Brandenburg Gate. This was given later on June 12, 1987. Reagan s speech was
more effect than Kennedy s because it had many good points that Kennedy didn t
have, spoke to the Berliners, and Kennedy s speech wasn t enough. It didn t do
anything since it was at the beginning of the Cold War. Nobody wanted to listen to
Kennedy. They did not tear down the wall. After Reagan s speech they did.
Kennedy had a great speech, although it was early in the Cold War, and possibly
too short. The central idea was Ich bin ein Berliner, which means I m a Berliner.
One quote from his speech that shows it is his last sentence. It says All free men,
wherever they live, are citizens of Berliner, and, therefore, as a free man, I take
pride in the words Ich bin ein Berliner! Kennedy s timing for this speech was not
great. It could have been more effective if it was not so early, and ... Show more

It was at the height of the Cold War. This spoke to people more. They were also
behind the wall for longer and there were more deaths. They realized how bad the
wall was now. If families were seperated then they missed them more. One place
was split apart. There were no others like that, and it wasn t fair to them. They
really listened to Reagan. He had good points about why the wall should be torn
down, and the freedom that is lost. His central idea is stated in the quote Mr.
Gorbachev, tear down this wall! He wants the wall to be torn down. He even points
out that in the south there may be no visible wall. That doesn t mean that their are
not armed guards and checkpoints. There is still a restriction on travel. He believes in

Character Analysis of Under the Feet of Jesus by Helena...
Finding One s Self in Times of Trouble : An explication of the Helena Maria
Viramontes novel
Under the Feet of Jesus.
Helena Maria Viramontes Under the Feet of Jesus portrays the maturing of Estrella, a
young Latina that seems to awaken in many different aspects of her life. The author s
use of Estrella give the book its strength and potency. Estrella is an affectionate
character, which is at the center of all the important issues. She is used a symbol to
represent the small amount of strength that lingers at a person s weakest point.
Estrella, throughout the entire novel, serves as the strong base for the family and
through the setting established, the audience is able to see her grow in her social,
political, economical, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The book s main appeal and power is the author s use of Estrella, who serves as the
focal point of all the large issues. In one particular scene, we see Estrella playing
with one a naked doll. Estrella asks the naked doll if she was okay and then shook
the doll s head No . This conversation with the doll can be seen as the sense of
denial that takes place in a child s mind that is not allowed to openly express
herself, her fears, her anxieties, and her hopes. She allows the doll to represent her
honest feelings about the lifestyle of living she is placed in. She is a unique and
interesting individual, who will not grow up to be knocked down by economic
issues, difficult labor, and especially men.
She is being raised in a world where women are expected to suffer silently and to be
at the mercy of their men. However, men were not expected to return this slave like
behavior for the women. This setting of the novel allows the reader to see exactly
how treacherous life can be. This suffering is so present in Estrella s family s lives,
yet she somehow is able to bring the family along no matter how difficult the
situation may be. She is still trapped in between two very different worlds: She
tried to remember which side she was on and which side of the wire mesh she was
safe in (59). Her mother may be taken over by a world of suffering, but she is not so
beaten that she cannot pass some of her fighting
Pete s View Of Life
I do feel as though Pete went back to get Donald in the end. They ultimately need
each other. Throughout the story Pete was painted as the hard working wealthy
brother always bailing Donald out of tough times despite the consequence. He might
have complained along the way but he always came through. In my opinion Pete s
actions are justified by his personality. A materialistic guy, somewhat content,
financially stable with a familyin a nice home. It would look as if he had it all
together, but in reality he does not. I feel as though Donald gives Pete a different
perspective of life which is displayed on page 358 when he begins to contemplate
the outcomes of Donald s decision to give Webster the $100. He begins to question
his initial position... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pete gives the impression that he was jealous of Donald, whom he thought got all
of the attention. This is displayed in the text when Donald references his mom
worrying about him when he did simple things such as climb trees and Pete s
response was, Mom was in a state every time you burped (Wolff 352). This
statement alone depicts Pete as jealous of the extra attention Donald was shown by
his mother for basically anything. Donald believes with conviction that Pete
purposely tried to kill him as a kid by consistently hitting him on a part of his body
recovering from surgery. There is a point in the story where Donald recounts his
memories saying, The thing was, I couldn t have anything happen to me where
they sewed me up because then my intestines would come apart again and poison
me. That was a big issue, Pete (Wolff 352). He then goes on to say, Pete hit him in
that spot every chance he got. In the text, Pete dances around the facts, attempting
to make light of the situation numerous times. He is full of excuses, unwilling to
admit or deny his part in the situation by inferring it was kid stuff or that maybe he
did it. Never actually owning up to his wrong doing or even trying to apologize. I
feel as though Pete associated his brother s age and sickness with him getting more
attention. It is for this reason I believe Pete tried to hurt Donald as a kid, which in
turn left Donald with an emotional scar far worse than his
Analysis Of The Book Harrison Bergeron
Can an equal society truly exist? The story, Harrison Bergeron gives one perspective
answer to this question throughout the story. The story portrays one main conflict
between Harrison Bergeron, a genius boy who is very talented, against a government
that makes the entire society equal by handicapping the more gifted, down to the
level of the less fortunate or incapable. Harrison constantly outgrows his tremendous
handicaps faster than the government can create them and plans to overthrow the
handicap government and society with his genius. The reader learns that there is a
constant struggle with the people in the society who are smarter being able to think

The wife tries to persuade him and convince him that he should take off his handicaps
for a while and rest. George can still better understand the consequences of those
potential actions and thus can still outsmart his wife by making a different decision.
Through this passage, the reader also learns that even in this handicap society of
equality not everyone is truly equal. If everyone was truly equal George wouldn t
have been able to make a more correct reasoning than another person and choose
different actions based on knowledge and reason. This just once again proves that
even in a perfect society not everything is perfect.
At the end of the story and at the climax the reader learns about the character
Harrison Bergeron. The genius boy starts to plot to overthrow the handicapper
General and her government. By escaping from jail Harrison proceeds to a TV
studio to proclaim his revolt to the rest of the society. Once ripping off his
handicaps and the handicaps of the rest of the people in the TV studio area,
Harrison began to show the joys of having talents. He asks the orchestra to play
their best so he and the ballerina can truly make a wonderful dance and experience
what music is supposed to truly be. As the wonderful music is played and the
elaborate dance proceeds, the Handicap General herself storms the studio and kills
the ballerina and Harrison

and the unjust treatment of low class citizens. When walking around the open world

Happiest Day Of My Life Essay
The clicking of my mother s new heels to the steam coming off of my fathers new
coat jacket after being steamed had me thinking that something was going on for
them tonight. But also pondering about why I wasn t getting dressed up as fancy as
them. I wondered if they were hiding something from me again. The last time that
happened, I ended up having a new living being in my house and it turns out that they
keep telling me that it is my new brother... or whatever that means. Although tonight,
the last time I saw him was when his babysitter picked him up. All I thoughtat that
moment is that I was the happiest girl alive and that I could spend the entire night
with my parents alone, but it turned out that it wasn t the case at all. In the end, it
turned out that I was left with my older cousin, Kelly, in a gigantic house along with
being locked in.
One moment in what I thought was the happiest day of my life turned out to be the
worst. But of course, my mother, Kelly a list of things I can and cannot do while they
are out.
Don t let her go through the kitchen, I have all her snacks and dinner sitting on the
table. She shouldn t be going into her father s office. Make sure she goes to bed at
her curfew, 8:00 p.m. Don t forget to remind her to brush her teeth...

why your brother got picked up by his babysitter. Did you want me to have her pick

Renewable Sources Of Energy As Being Sustainable.it
This essay seeks to identify a number of challenges which are encountered when
trying to identify what a sustainable source of energy is. To do this, it first briefly
states ways in which the term sustainable energy has been interpreted by various
bodies and individuals and ways in which people seek to identify an energy source
which is truly sustainable. This essay seeks to point out the flaw in classifying all
renewable sources of energy as being sustainable. It will achieve this by comparing
two energy related projects, proving how sustainable a non renewable source can be
and vice versa. Lastly, it will prove ways in which different people s misconceptions
can affect further progress with these energy related projects.
A number of suitable definitions of sustainable energy run through this essay.
Sustainable Energy has been defined as; A living harmony between the equitable
availability of energy services to all people and the preservation of the earth for
future generations (Tester, Drake, Driscoll, Golay, Peters, 2005). This from my own
point of view is the most accurate definition by far. Pointedly, it is in contrast with a
number of definitions; for example this one by Denzil Walton stating that;
Sustainable energy is regarded as the system of producing, transporting, distributing
and consuming energy in a way that promotes a reduction in the rate of consumption
of non renewable resources which lead to environmental degradation while providing

society we have weaponized everything from Chemical agents, Biological agents,
Radiological devices, and of course Nuclear bombs. Chemical warfare agents such as
saringas are near the top of the list of these WMD s. Originally sarin was developed
in Germany in 1938 as a pesticide, and later classified as a nerve agent. Sarin was
intended to be used as a pesticide but military and terrorist groups quickly took
advantage of the high volatility rate, 17,000 mg/m3 at 25 oC, and created
weaponized containers that would release this deadly gas on their targets. With a
chemical formula of CH3 P(=O)( F)( OCH(CH3)2), sarin is an organophosphorus

History Of Egypt And Southwestern Part Of Egypt
In the past periods, the northwestern part of Sudan and southwestern part of Egypt
(Kehl and Bornkamm, 1993) were with great effective moisture, which are evident
from archaeological sites associated with remnants of playa or lake deposits. This
was the source of recharge in the NSAS. The estimated recharge rates of the pluvial
period were a little high at the Uweinat highlands and central Sudan area (7 15 mm
/year), and low in northern Sudan and southern Egyptarea (6 8 mm/year) (Fig. 13).
During the filling up process, the high hydraulically conductive sandstones (~

The groundwater flow from the foothills of the Uweinat highlands has followed
the relief of the underlying basement rocks. As the aquifer became full and the
groundwater level rose to the ground surface at the Uweinat area, the excess
precipitation has formed drainage systems flowing in an ENE direction (Fig. ) to
the Tushka depression. This is evidenced from processing of the Radarsat and

Critical Analysis Of I Am Malala

This work is comparative research to publications about Malala s success.

Biography Of Tiger Woods Essay
Biography of Tiger Woods
quot;Let your clubs speak for you. quot;
Tiger Woods was too young to notice the racism around him. He didn amp;#8217;t
understand that in this world, people were judged by the color of their skin. He
couldn amp;#8217;t speak out about it; he couldn amp;#8217;t voice his opinions, or
come up with possible solutions because he was too young. Tiger faced many racial
ordeals throughout his life, mainly because he was half Thai and half black. He
broke into the sport of golf as one of the youngest. He not only wanted to be the
best black golfer; he wanted to be the best golfer. The only way Tiger dealt with
racism was to let his clubs do all the talking for him. The book starts off with Earl

He didn amp;#8217;t have the strength to drive the ball far, but he had skill; he
was blessed. Earl made Tiger some miniature clubs out of his old ones and from
that moment on, he was obsessed with the sport. The way that Tiger played, it was
no longer a sport, it became an art. With every hole he played, his game progressed to
a whole new level. As Tiger grew older, he still played tournaments and racked up
his victories, he even played for Harvard amp;#8217;s golf team. Harvard was
interested in having him play for them since an early age. Later on in his career, he
started to show that he wasn amp;#8217;t perfect. He showed that he too made
mistakes and was just like everybody else. The author of the book definitely knows
a lot about Tiger. He got a lot of information for the book directly from Kultida and
Earl Woods. John Strege wanted others to get to know Tiger. He wrote this book to
show how Tiger got to be where he is now. The book starts off with how Tiger got the
name Tiger. It was obvious that the author admired Tiger. I really liked this book
because I did not know where Tiger got his name. It was interesting to read about
how Earl Woods vowed to call his next son Tiger to repay his friend Nguyen Phong

liked reading about how Tiger started at a really young age and practiced everyday to
perfect his game. Tiger is a good example of that if you put
Personal Note On Happiness And Happiness
Happiness
When asking someone what makes them happy, you more than likely would receive
a million different answers. The general definition of happiness or being happy is a
state of well being and contentment, or a pleasurable or satisfying experience. An
individual s definition of happiness more as excitement increase in the tendency to

varies depending on what they might like or be content with. To someone a plate
of hot wings or a day at the spa would make them happy. I personally think spending
time with family, friends, or a significant other is the key to being happy. I always
seem to be happiest when I m with my family, friends, or girlfriend. The need for
social connections with friends and family makes me feel so alive and very happy.
According to Dan Gilbert we all have the moral molecule which is associated with
both love and pain relief. It releases high levels of oxytocin when we think about

John D. Rockefeller and Commodore Vanderbilt were both powerful businessmen of
their time. They both dominated the markets that they were in, and they brought
innovation and efficiency to their trades. Both entrepreneurs used hard work to break
into their markets and become some of the most successful businessmen of history.
These men both made such a large impact on their industries, without their
contribution those industries would not be what they are today.
John D. Rockefeller dominated the oil industry and was an entrepreneurial
powerhouse. He was a hardworking man with good morals. Rockefeller was known
for being an honest business man, and stressed on the importance of honesty in

Shakespeare s Natural Constincts Of Humanity In

MFM demonstrates that the natural urges and instincts of humanity cannot be
contained or regulated by an imposed system of rules and laws. Discuss.
Shakespeare s tragi comedy Measure for Measure concerns itself with human
behaviour and the need for laws to govern human appetite whilst ensuring domestic
tranquillity. The play written in the Jacobean era, set in Vienna emphasises that
natural human tendencies outweigh the laws. Firstly, the congruence between outer
actions and inner values is one of the overriding themes of the play, especially as it
is the manifest in the issue of seeing and being. Additionally, in the play, Shakespeare
presents the transformation of characters. Also, he emphasises how excessive
suppression or excessive liberty can lead to a beleaguered ... Show more content on

Here, readers interpret that appearance is synonymous to laws and natural urges to
reality. On a seeming level, there are several instances throughout the play in which
appearances deny the truth of a situation. This is encapsulated in the concept of
dramatic irony. Ironic cases of mistaken identity appear in the play, such as the
Duke s disguise and Lucio s unintentional denouncement of him as emphasizing that

based on its appearances. However, there are deeper contradictions between
appearance and reality. One illustration is the hypocritical Do As I say not as I do

which allows the least virtuous characters to seem the most upstanding. The

welfare of children and young people. It remains an important piece of legislation as
it s main focus is safeguarding children and the roles and responsibilities of the local

The Every Child Matters Guidelines led to the Children Act of 2004, a revision of
The Children Act 1989, as a direct result of the death of Victoria Climbe`, and the
manner in which this was handled.
108 recommendations for change to the piece of legislation were made in order to

recommendations were, a closer working relationship between all agencies working

One of our target markets is white collar employees with middle or high income.
These people pay more attention on quality of life and have a good consumption
level. Another is business customers, which need flowers to decorate the site of
activities, parties, events or meetings.
Competition
However, there are some strong competitors in this market, especially Starbucks. It is
the world s largest coffee shop chain from America. Starbucks enjoyed a higher
reputation and strong brand effect in China. There are about 31 Starbucks in Suzhou
alone, but some problems are observed in the course of rapid extension. For
instance, single and boring of the unchangeable products and service is a big
weakness. To the contrary, Seventh Heaven CafГ© provides a combination service
and products to customers. It is a novel and creative form to attract people. Besides,
high quality service and elegant environment are our powerful points of attraction.
Sales and marketing strategy
To gain more customers, the price of our products is slightly below the Starbucks.

The History and Public Opinion of Capital Punishment

The History and Public Opinion of Capital Punishment
The history of the death penalty goes back to the earliest civilizations where it was
used to punish all sorts of crimes from robbery, to murder, to different forms of
heresy. In the United States it evolved to just punish murder, treason, and some cases
of rape. It has been an issue that has sparked a never ending debate that goes back to
colonial times. The general public traditionally supported the death penalty in a
majority with only a few politicians speaking out against it (i.e., Benjamin Rush, Ben
Franklin and later on Horace Greeley). Once the U.S. gained independence, each state
went back and forth in abolishing and reinstating the death penalty and methods of ...

Some dissenters claimed that people who were ethically opposed to the death
penalty were biased because they would never vote to give the death penalty to
people who deserved it. Some historians say that this marked the first time that the
supreme court was persuaded by public opinion against capital punishment. The
following statement was made by Justice Potter Stewart who spoke for the majority,
In a nation less than half of whose people believe in the death penalty, a jury
composed exclusively of such people cannot speak for the community...In its quest
for a jury capable of imposing the death penalty, the State produced a jury
uncommonly willing to condemn a man to die (Gottfried:60). Scholars and lawyers
also thought this would be the end of capital punishment for good because the courts
willingness to accept people who fundamentally opposed the death penalty, but this
turned out not to be true because of details in the decision that allowed courts and
legislatures to work around it.
The 1972 case of Furman v Georgia was seen as a complete victory for abolitionists at
the time, but proved to be more complicated than it appeared. It said that the death
penalty, as it was administered, violated the Eighth Amendments because it was cruel
and unusual punishment and violated the Fourteenth Amendment because it did not
guarantee equal protection under the law (Costanzo:18). The
My Favorite Family
When I was 6 months old, my mom and dad were bickering and when my mom
was fed up, she threw my oatmeal at his face. After all the commotion, he stormed
out, leaving all his stuff behind for us to keep. I have not seen my dad since i was 10
years old. I really don t like to talk about him. Let s talk about my favorite family
members:my mom, grandma, and sister. First, I want to talk about my mom,
Jessica. Firstly, my mom cares about me. How does she worry about me? Well, 1
reason is in my old neighborhood, she would make I d check in every hour and I
always have a curfew depending on what season it was. Another thing is that she
would make sure I stayed away from certain people like people that is inappropriate
things, and she would also keep me inside if it was cold or raining. Forever the more,
my mom would give me what I asked for. When the Xbox 360came out, I asked her
for it and I got it for Christmas. I asked her for gift cards to get games and stuff and
I got them also. I really wanted WWII and i got i5t also. My mom really pulled
through with all the stuff I got from her. Lastly, my mom gives me food, water,
clothing, and shelter. If I don t get what I ask her at least she gives me the
necessary things I need for survival. Food, the meat and natural foods, then the
junk food. Water, so it can give me energy so i won t be dehydrated and end up in
the emergency room. Clothing, so I do not go walking around naked. Shelter, so I
don t burn or freeze to death or get soaked by the beating down sun, the white
blanket of snow, or the terror of the rain. Secondly, Let s talk about my grandma,
Tani Boelky. Let s start off with how my grandma is very sweet. How is my
grandma sweet? Well, for starters, she cooks us dinner and makes us lunch on the
weekends and sometimes breakfast in the morning. She gives and buys us things
like for instance, she bought me gift cards, extras for games, and even games in
general. She s the one who bought me my Xbox 1 last Easter for Easter. She also
makes us things and buys us Christmas presents and takes us to do activities like the
park and other things. My grandma may be inpatient and not really care about stuff,
but she is very sweet. All

The Fate Of Foes In Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet
The Fate of Foes Could the deaths of the most famous lovers of all time from the
greatest love story this world has ever seen been avoided? Romeo and Juliet
written by William Shakespeare is a thrilling play in which two star crossed lovers
from rival families spiral through a series of unfortunate events before killing
themselves out of love for each other. Fate is the sole cause of the deaths of Romeo
and Juliet as Shakespeare s diction gives commanding hints to fate, there was a
greater cause for the deaths, and the overwhelming amount of coincidences falsify the
idea that freedom of choice was the cause. The unusual amount of fate related words
used by Shakespeare demonstrates the couple s destiny was set to have them perish

After Romeo and Juliet had both committed suicide the Prince was making sense
of the situation, Where be these enemies? Capulet, Montague, See what a scourge
is laid upon your hate, And I, for winking at your discords too, Have lost a brace of
kinsmen. All are punished (5.3.301 305). This explains that the deaths of Romeo
and Juliet were a punishment for the feud between the Capulets and Montagues a
likely explanation for why fate caused the deaths. Also, fate may have stopped the
fighting to avoid any other deaths related to the feud. While this is one of the big
causes for fate to have the lovers killed another one is also relevant. When
Shakespeare is summarizing the play to the audience he states something significant
about the result of the lovers deaths: Doth with their death bury their parents strife.
The fearful passage of their death marked love and the continuance of their parents
rage, which, but their children s end, naught could remove (Pro.8 11). The greater
good is demonstrated in this passage as it explains that the deaths of Romeo and
Juliet brought their fighting families together. This bigger cause is the main reason
why fate decided to kill the lovers. In conclusion, fate is shown to have caused the
deaths because their are two relevant reasons for fate to have done

While studying Theology in South Korea, I obtained an opportunity to translate one
of Saint Basil the Great s writings, Ad Adolescentes from Greek into Korean with two
professors, and write a thesis on his educational thoughts. Basil s writing was for

experiencing conflicts regarding whether they could read the pagan literatures or not.
In his writing, Basil underscores the importance of the pagan works from which
Christians can attain benefits in order to clearly understand Godand the Bible. It
continuously led me to make a question: So what does it mean for modern Korean
churches?

their roles. Based on Confucianism which emphasizes the roles of men, when a

common feeling among those with less power. Third, Korea experienced a lot of

Personal Health Of Public Health
Health is the most precious asset in the possession of human beings. From my
classroom experience and through interaction with literature texts, I have come to the
conclusion that people can be responsible for their health. As a student of public
health, it is important to maintain good personal health in order to address the public
healthproblems in the future. To be responsible for my personal health, I have taken
the initiative to implement a personal health behavior changing plan to test whether a
positive reinforcement of rewarding myself to watch one episode of my favorite TV
show each night is an effective method to change my eating habit in a short period of
time.
According to my health report generated by Blue Zones, I have a very unhealthy
eating habit. I do not consume enough fruits and vegetables. One of the suggestions
they give to me is to enjoy some fruit and vegetables every day, by which I could
add 377 days to my life expectancy. As a result, I set my short term goal to be
meeting the recommendation of daily fruit and vegetable intake (2.5 cups of fruits
and 3.5 cups of vegetables) made by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and
Prevention base on my age (22), sex (male) and level of physical activity (30 60
minutes per day). In the long run, I hope to maintain a healthy eating habit without
any intervention. According to CDC, One cup refers to a common measuring cup
(the kind used in recipes). In general, 1 cup of raw or cooked vegetables or 100%
Causes Of The French Revolution
The Terror was a set of institutions put in place to protect the revolution while France
was in a state of panic from the extreme military and domestic emergency. The belief
of danger, from many deputies, that the Revolution itself was in danger of ruin by
enemies real and imagined resulted in repression. This repression was justified by
revolutionaries to preserve the Revolution. Certain factors led to the rise in
conspiracy and paranoia among revolutionaries in the cities and those in the
Convention of enemies lurking everywhere. These factors are the militaryfailures in
the French northern front due to Austrian counterattack. The counter forces of the
Austrian military put foreign enemies on French soil again and resulted in panic
among revolutionaries that foreign nations will succeed in ending the Revolution.
The recruitment riots in the provinces, led by anti revolutionary rural citizens, acted
as proof to revolutionaries that the internal enemies conducting the civil war are
causing the military failures of the French army by foreign enemies. The
assassination of the Montagnard, Marat, supported the revolutionaries belief that
internal enemies are out to hunt revolutionary leaders and bring an end to the
revolution. These events led to measures that would commence the disintegration of
the Republic and start of the Terror to protect France s revolution from enemies
domestic and abroad. Prior to the failures of the impending warfare between France

The Civilians Of Ancient Greece
World History C375 Task 2 Serra Bauman 000505328 Part A The civilians of
Ancient Greece had to be resourceful. Most civilizations had rivers to channel,
irrigate, and predict. Ancient Greece is a series of islands. This means that the
people of Ancient Greece had to learn to live on the ocean. They had to deal with
being more vulnerable to land attacks as they were used to battling with ships. And
they also had to deal with huge ocean storms. These storms could destroy a new
society with no notice. (Acrobatic, 2014) There were good things about being a
seafaring civilization. As the Ancient Greeks migrated to the coast of the
Mediterranean, and Black Seas, they were able to put all of their energy into
maritime trade, eventually making them dominant of the busiest waterway in the
ancient world. (Acrobatic, 2014) Persian people, or people of Arya , settled south
of Iran in the plains of Pars. These plains were very fertile. This fertility allowed the
Persian s to grow and expand on sea and land. (Acrobatic, 2014) Part B In Greece, a
democratic society was created. This society thought highly of citizen participation,
and the unending search of the ultimate philosophical truths. Being responsible as a
group was far more important than individual rights, or freedom. This created an
open society that was free to open expression and questioning authority. (Acrobatic,
2014) The love of wisdom , or study of philosophy was possible in the open society
of Greece.

Adventure Based Learning For Teaching
Adventure Based Learning Active Teaching Method Used In Teaching Subjects in
Tourism In the article Adventure Based Learning Active Teaching Method Used In
Teaching Subjects in Tourism, the authors briefly defined adventure learning and the
integrated teaching approach. Stefan, Orboi, Banes, and Martin (2015) mentioned
that adventure learningcalled for an active and interactive or collective cooperation of
students in teaching; it also encouraged teamwork and competition amid students; (p.
143). Additionally, they revealed that integrated teaching encompassed a definitive
technique of formulating and planning which generated connections between what
students learned and life happenings (Stefan, Orboi, Banes, and Martin, 2015, p.143).
According to the authors, teachers offered students the chance to express themselves
freely and creatively, creating a stimulating environment and diversified their
personality development when operating in integrated teaching (Stefan, Orboi, Banes,
and Martin, 2015, p.143). The concentration of the integrated method was to cultivate
preparatory skills, transferable transverse principles beneficial for communal, and the
individual advancement of students. These methods were conducted with the
intention of examining not only individuals but also combined collection of groups
on paramount local and global public issues to learn and develop: personal, social,
cognitive, and cultural abilities (Stefan, Orboi, Banes and Martin, 2015, p. 143).

types of risk arbitrage are merger and acquisition arbitrage (also known as just merger
arbitrage), liquidation arbitrage, and pairs trading. We will focus on merger arbitrage,
as it pertains to this case study. Merger arbitrage is an investment strategy that
chooses to capitalize upon arbitrage that presents when a merger or acquisition deal

Chris acquired 260,000 shares at $48/share, which came out to a $12.48 million
allocation. Since the announced exchange rate was 1.2, Chris also shorted 312,000
shares of Abbott Labs (260,000*1.2=312,000) at $43.50. If the deal did go through,
Chris would expect positive returns because the stock price of Alza would increase
as a result of the merger (long position would profit) and the stock price of Abbott
would decrease as a result of the merger (short position would profit).
Another option Chris could take would be to buy Alza put options maturing
December 18th at $3.25 a share for a strike price of $40.00 (Alza s current share price
is $40.12). This could serve to hedge his current position, since

Restaurant Evaluation Essay. 003 Restaurant Review Essay Thatsnotus

  • 1. Restaurant Evaluation Essay Crafting a Restaurant Evaluation Essay can be both an intriguing and challenging task. The difficulty lies not only in conveying personal opinions but also in maintaining objectivity throughout the evaluation. One must carefully balance subjective experiences with an analytical approach, considering various aspects such as ambiance, service, and, of course, the quality of the food. The challenge intensifies when attempting to strike a chord with readers who may not share the same taste preferences or cultural background. Effective communication becomes crucial to ensure that the essay resonates with a diverse audience. It requires the writer to employ vivid descriptions, appealing to the senses, to create a comprehensive and immersive experience for the reader. Furthermore, conducting thorough research is essential to provide a well-rounded evaluation. This involves exploring the restaurant's history, chef's background, and any unique culinary approaches. It's not merely about expressing personal likes or dislikes; the essay should be enriched with a blend of factual information and thoughtful analysis. In addition, maintaining a structured and coherent narrative poses its own set of challenges. The essay should flow seamlessly, transitioning between different aspects of the restaurant without losing the reader's interest. Striking the right balance between detail and conciseness is vital to keep the essay engaging. Despite the complexities, the opportunity to share genuine insights and recommendations with others can make the writing process rewarding. It requires a careful blend of subjectivity and objectivity, creating a piece that not only communicates personal experiences but also provides valuable information for potential visitors. In conclusion, crafting a compelling Restaurant Evaluation Essay demands a combination of personal experiences, thorough research, and effective communication skills. It is a task that goes beyond mere expression of likes and dislikes, requiring the writer to carefully navigate the intricacies of both subjective and objective analysis. It is through this delicate balance that a truly impactful evaluation essay emerges. If you find yourself in need of assistance with similar essays or any other writing tasks, various resources, including professional writing services likeHelpWriting.net, are available to provide support tailored to your specific needs. The Effect of Counterfeited Drugs on Pharmaceutical Companies The market for counterfeit pharmaceuticals has grown exponentially in the last five years. According to an estimate published by the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest in the USA, Worldwide sales of counterfeit medicines could top US$ 75 billion this year, a 90% rise in five years (WHO, 2010). This massive rise has greatly affected pharmaceutical companies and law enforcement agencies. The data exposing the effects the counterfeit industry has on companies does not seem to be public knowledge. Chris Jenkins is a founding member of the Pharmaceutical Security Institute which is a Not for profit corporation formed by the major drug companies to collate their fake drug information to cooperate in fighting the racket. Based in Vienna, Virginia, United States, the PSI holds the only known comprehensive and updated source of fake drug information (Cockburn et al. 2005). He explains that, It is necessary to keep fake drug information confidential for commercial reasons...to avoid media leaks and to prevent the possibility of rival drug companies taking unfair commercial advantage of a victim company (Cockburn et al. 2005). The purpose of keeping the data a secret from the public is a matter of protecting the reputations of not only each company, but also each operational division within a company who are fighting to meet sales targets. With a reputation as a faith healer, and firmly believing that the baptism of the Holy Ghost should be physical evidence of the Holy Spirit in every believer s life, Parham, then living in Topeka, Kansas, issued a challenge to students at the Topeka school to discover the biblical evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism. Parham was himself seeking scriptural proof of this experience, and later on, in January of 1901, when asked to pray for a student so that she would experience the gift of tongues, the woman began to speak in Chinese and could speak no other language for three days. This was proof to Parham, at least, of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Others were reported as being somewhat

  • 7. Security Analysis Of An Electronic Voting System Sharanya Prasath Prof Ming Yang IT security Analysis 9 July 2016 Security Analysis of an Electronic Voting System Abstract Fundamental right to vote or simply voting in elections forms the basis of democracy. Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) is a simple electronic device used to record votes in place of ballot papers and boxes which were used earlier in conventional voting system .With significant U.S. federal funds we now have replaced the outdated punch card and mechanical voting systems, and are adopting paperless electronic voting systems from a number of different vendors. My analysis shows that this voting system is below the minimal security standards. Threats of computer viruses or hacker orchestrated attacks are most commonly mentioned as problems that could compromise an election and public confidence in electronic voting. Other potential technical problems or issues include power outages or malfunctions in Internet connectivity as well as the possibility of servers shutting down or crashing. The reliable recording and storage of votes is also an important consideration, I conclude that this voting system is unsuitable for use in a general election. Any paperless electronic voting system might suffer similar flaws, despite any certification it could have otherwise received. I suggest that the best solutions are voting systems having a voter verifiable audit trail, where a computerized voting system might print a paper ballot that can be read and verified
  • 8. Mansfield Short Stories Through her short stories you feel the emotional connection within the characters. She was a young New Zealand who was dying with a disease called Tuberculosis, dying at the age of 34. Successfully, she wrote three books with a fourth and fifth book following after her death. There were many trigger points that led her to become a writer, they were moving back to New Zealand, her brother s deathin World War 1, and her sensations with how women were treated. Her stories were described as blurred edges of personality, the poetry of feelingand the expansiveness of the interior life. (Wilkins) One may argue that Mansfield works never romances the tragedies of modern women, but rather sympathizes with the women she portrays as she suspends the happy ending. The women at the store, describes the emotion of a lonely lower class woman with a young bratty child and a mangy dog running the store. Two men named Jo and Jim ride up on the store expressing their first impressions as the women being ugly. The men question her husband s whereabouts, she is confused and changes the subject to avoid answering the question. One of the men suggests she comes down to the paddock with tea, instead, she quickly responds I don t fancy it. One may argue that her response indicates that she is not high class. Rather express the solitude she endures every day. She exposes her night gown to the men in the motion of dropping the blanket that was covering her. Giving the meaning she desires the
  • 9. Kennedy Ich Bin Ein Berliner Research Paper There were two famous speeches given at the Berlin wall about freedom, taking down the wall, and bringing East and West Berlin together once again. One of these speeches was president John F. Kennedy s Ich bin ein Berliner speech. It was given June 26, 1963. The other speech was Ronald Reagan s address from the Brandenburg Gate. This was given later on June 12, 1987. Reagan s speech was more effect than Kennedy s because it had many good points that Kennedy didn t have, spoke to the Berliners, and Kennedy s speech wasn t enough. It didn t do anything since it was at the beginning of the Cold War. Nobody wanted to listen to Kennedy. They did not tear down the wall. After Reagan s speech they did. Kennedy had a great speech, although it was early in the Cold War, and possibly too short. The central idea was Ich bin ein Berliner, which means I m a Berliner. One quote from his speech that shows it is his last sentence. It says All free men, wherever they live, are citizens of Berliner, and, therefore, as a free man, I take pride in the words Ich bin ein Berliner! Kennedy s timing for this speech was not great. His central idea is stated in the quote Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall! He wants the wall to be torn down. He even points out that in the south there may be no visible wall. Helena Maria Viramontes Under the Feet of Jesus portrays the maturing of Estrella, a young Latina that seems to awaken in many different aspects of her life. In one particular scene, we see Estrella playing with one a naked doll. Estrella asks the naked doll if she was okay and then shook the doll s head No . This conversation with the doll can be seen as the sense of denial that takes place in a child s mind that is not allowed to openly express herself, her fears, her anxieties, and her hopes. She allows the doll to represent her honest feelings about the lifestyle of living she is placed in. She is a unique and interesting individual, who will not grow up to be knocked down by economic issues, difficult labor, and especially men. She is being raised in a world where women are expected to suffer silently and to be at the mercy of their men. However, men were not expected to return this slave like behavior for the women. This setting of the novel allows the reader to see exactly how treacherous life can be. This suffering is so present in Estrella s family s lives, yet she somehow is able to bring the family along no matter how difficult the situation may be. She is still trapped in between two very different worlds: She tried to remember which side she was on and which side of the wire mesh she was safe in (59). Her mother may be taken over by a world of suffering, but she is not so beaten that she cannot pass some of her fighting
  • 11. Pete s View Of Life I do feel as though Pete went back to get Donald in the end. They ultimately need each other. Throughout the story Pete was painted as the hard working wealthy brother always bailing Donald out of tough times despite the consequence. He might have complained along the way but he always came through. In my opinion Pete s actions are justified by his personality. A materialistic guy, somewhat content, financially stable with a familyin a nice home. It would look as if he had it all together, but in reality he does not. This is displayed in the text when Donald references his mom worrying about him when he did simple things such as climb trees and Pete s response was, Mom was in a state every time you burped (Wolff 352). This statement alone depicts Pete as jealous of the extra attention Donald was shown by his mother for basically anything. Donald believes with conviction that Pete purposely tried to kill him as a kid by consistently hitting him on a part of his body recovering from surgery. There is a point in the story where Donald recounts his memories saying, The thing was, I couldn t have anything happen to me where they sewed me up because then my intestines would come apart again and poison me. That was a big issue, Pete (Wolff 352). He then goes on to say, Pete hit him in that spot every chance he got. In the text, Pete dances around the facts, attempting to make light of the situation numerous times. He is full of excuses, unwilling to admit or deny his part in the situation by inferring it was kid stuff or that maybe he did it. Never actually owning up to his wrong doing or even trying to apologize. I feel as though Pete associated his brother s age and sickness with him getting more attention. It is for this reason I believe Pete tried to hurt Donald as a kid, which in turn left Donald with an emotional scar far worse than his

To do this, it first briefly states ways in which the term sustainable energy has been interpreted by various bodies and individuals and ways in which people seek to identify an energy source which is truly sustainable. This essay seeks to point out the flaw in classifying all renewable sources of energy as being sustainable. It will achieve this by comparing two energy related projects, proving how sustainable a non renewable source can be and vice versa. Lastly, it will prove ways in which different people s misconceptions can affect further progress with these energy related projects. A number of suitable definitions of sustainable energy run through this essay. Sustainable Energy has been defined as; A living harmony between the equitable availability of energy services to all people and the preservation of the earth for future generations (Tester, Drake, Driscoll, Golay, Peters, 2005). This from my own point of view is the most accurate definition by far. Shelter, so I don t burn or freeze to death or get soaked by the beating down sun, the white blanket of snow, or the terror of the rain. Secondly, Let s talk about my grandma, Tani Boelky. Let s start off with how my grandma is very sweet. How is my grandma sweet? Well, for starters, she cooks us dinner and makes us lunch on the weekends and sometimes breakfast in the morning. She gives and buys us things like for instance, she bought me gift cards, extras for games, and even games in general. She s the one who bought me my Xbox 1 last Easter for Easter. • 31. The Fate Of Foes In Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet The Fate of Foes Could the deaths of the most famous lovers of all time from the greatest love story this world has ever seen been avoided? Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare is a thrilling play in which two star crossed lovers from rival families spiral through a series of unfortunate events before killing themselves out of love for each other. Fate is the sole cause of the deaths of Romeo and Juliet as Shakespeare s diction gives commanding hints to fate, there was a greater cause for the deaths, and the overwhelming amount of coincidences falsify the idea that freedom of choice was the cause. The unusual amount of fate related words used by Shakespeare demonstrates the couple s destiny was set to have them perish in the same... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After Romeo and Juliet had both committed suicide the Prince was making sense of the situation, Where be these enemies? Capulet, Montague, See what a scourge is laid upon your hate, And I, for winking at your discords too, Have lost a brace of kinsmen. All are punished (5.3.301 305). This explains that the deaths of Romeo and Juliet were a punishment for the feud between the Capulets and Montagues a likely explanation for why fate caused the deaths. Also, fate may have stopped the fighting to avoid any other deaths related to the feud. While this is one of the big causes for fate to have the lovers killed another one is also relevant. When Shakespeare is summarizing the play to the audience he states something significant about the result of the lovers deaths: Doth with their death bury their parents strife. The fearful passage of their death marked love and the continuance of their parents rage, which, but their children s end, naught could remove (Pro.8 11). The greater good is demonstrated in this passage as it explains that the deaths of Romeo and Juliet brought their fighting families together. This bigger cause is the main reason why fate decided to kill the lovers. In conclusion, fate is shown to have caused the deaths because their are two relevant reasons for fate to have done

Basil The Great While studying Theology in South Korea, I obtained an opportunity to translate one of Saint Basil the Great s writings, Ad Adolescentes from Greek into Korean with two professors, and write a thesis on his educational thoughts. Basil s writing was for educating adolescents in the fourth century including his nephews, who were experiencing conflicts regarding whether they could read the pagan literatures or not. In his writing, Basil underscores the importance of the pagan works from which Christians can attain benefits in order to clearly understand Godand the Bible. It continuously led me to make a question: So what does it mean for modern Korean churches? After graduating from the seminary, I worked as a religion teacher at Bosung Girl s Middle School. Based on Confucianism which emphasizes the roles of men, when a woman could not have a boy, her husband could have additional wives, which formed the woman s resentment. Second, in a highly hierarchical society, han was a common feeling among those with less power. Third, Korea experienced a lot of wars and struggles between China and Japan, which was another reason for Korean people s resentment. Even though they could not change their situation at all, nevertheless they sublimated their han in various ways such as writing poems, singing songs, and exorcising. It reminds of a lot of songs in Psalm, which reveals that the poets suffered from their surroundings and then praised God

From my classroom experience and through interaction with literature texts, I have come to the conclusion that people can be responsible for their health. As a student of public health, it is important to maintain good personal health in order to address the public healthproblems in the future. To be responsible for my personal health, I have taken the initiative to implement a personal health behavior changing plan to test whether a positive reinforcement of rewarding myself to watch one episode of my favorite TV show each night is an effective method to change my eating habit in a short period of time. According to my health report generated by Blue Zones, I have a very unhealthy eating habit. I do not consume enough fruits and vegetables. One of the suggestions they give to me is to enjoy some fruit and vegetables every day, by which I could add 377 days to my life expectancy. As a result, I set my short term goal to be meeting the recommendation of daily fruit and vegetable intake (2.5 cups of fruits and 3.5 cups of vegetables) made by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention base on my age (22), sex (male) and level of physical activity (30 60 minutes per day). Causes Of The French Revolution The Terror was a set of institutions put in place to protect the revolution while France was in a state of panic from the extreme military and domestic emergency. The belief of danger, from many deputies, that the Revolution itself was in danger of ruin by enemies real and imagined resulted in repression. This repression was justified by revolutionaries to preserve the Revolution. Certain factors led to the rise in conspiracy and paranoia among revolutionaries in the cities and those in the Convention of enemies lurking everywhere. These factors are the militaryfailures in the French northern front due to Austrian counterattack. The counter forces of the Austrian military put foreign enemies on French soil again and resulted in panic among revolutionaries that foreign nations will succeed in ending the Revolution. The recruitment riots in the provinces, led by anti revolutionary rural citizens, acted as proof to revolutionaries that the internal enemies conducting the civil war are causing the military failures of the French army by foreign enemies. The assassination of the Montagnard, Marat, supported the revolutionaries belief that internal enemies are out to hunt revolutionary leaders and bring an end to the revolution. These events led to measures that would commence the disintegration of the Republic and start of the Terror to protect France s revolution from enemies domestic and abroad. Prior to the failures of the impending warfare between France versus Austria and

Most civilizations had rivers to channel, irrigate, and predict. Ancient Greece is a series of islands. This means that the people of Ancient Greece had to learn to live on the ocean. They had to deal with being more vulnerable to land attacks as they were used to battling with ships. And they also had to deal with huge ocean storms. These storms could destroy a new society with no notice. (Acrobatic, 2014) There were good things about being a seafaring civilization. As the Ancient Greeks migrated to the coast of the Mediterranean, and Black Seas, they were able to put all of their energy into maritime trade, eventually making them dominant of the busiest waterway in the ancient world. This fertility allowed the Persian s to grow and expand on sea and land. (Acrobatic, 2014) Part B In Greece, a democratic society was created. This society thought highly of citizen participation, and the unending search of the ultimate philosophical truths. Being responsible as a group was far more important than individual rights, or freedom. This created an open society that was free to open expression and questioning authority.
