Prior to the arrival of Andy Falender, there were three prominent problems plaguing the organizational
performance of the AMC. These problems consisted of: 1) the decentralization of decision making to
the local chapters, 2) the financial stability of the organization, and 3) the growth of the organization.

Rianey (2014) suggests that the complications include that goals are always multiple. Due to the
number of goals an organization may have, research indicates that differing goals is quite common

Propaganda is information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a
political cause or point of view(Webster). It has always been used to encourage the support of a cause
especially during times of war. During World War II, the American government was hesitant to use
propaganda to encourage American support due to past experiences of propaganda during World War
I. According to Lincoln Riddle s article on War History Online, businesses and corporations had to
persuade the government to use propaganda in America. The government consented to the deed so
long as the ads being displayed by business and corporation were only giving information on the war
instead of withholding information from the public (Riddle). Regardless, some posters and ads were
overexaggerated for a war effort making them propaganda. The themes could be divided into six main
themes: The Nature of the Enemy, The Nature of the Allies, The Need to Work, The Need to Fight,
The Need to Sacrifice, and The Americans What we are fighting for (Campbell). These forms used as
propaganda ranged from posters, radio, and television. Posters that were created during World War II
helped to boost the home front s public moral and encourage soldiers to enlist in the war. Famous

Abstract
The battle at Midway was a pivotal moment in World War II. The United States Navy was in desperate
need for victory, while the over confident Japanese military force was riding on the tails of previous
success. The U.S. gained intelligence and surprised the unsuspecting Japanese fleet. The battle was
swift and just, with Japan sustaining a significant loss of life. Their loss of artillery, equipment and
supplies proved to be unsurmountable. These losses led to a major shift in momentum towards the
United States. The Japanese confidence level plummeted, in both the soldiers and the public. The U.S.
celebrated the victory and built on that energy. Japan was forced to refocus military plans. Strategic
initiatives changed from the Pacific theater to other, less desirable locations. A desperate focus to
rebuild from the human and material loss was attempted. Carrier defense was strategized. Despite
these refocus attempts; Japan was unable to regain triumph, making the Battle at Midway the most
pivotal event in World War II history. Japan s losses, change in momentum and forced military refocus
proved to be the revolution necessary to provide U.S. the triumph.

The drawn hypothesis is accepted, or in other words supported by the collected data to a certain
extent. Both the raw data tables as well as the graphs show accuracy to a certain extent which goes to
show that there was error, however minimal. The hypothesis stated the the more hypertonic the
sucrose solution, the less increase in potato mass there will be. It even suggests that mass might
increase. The collected data shows, that the more hypotonic the solution, the bigger growth rate in the
potato masses. However as we get to the last 2 trials, where the solution was becoming more
hypertonic we can see the rate of growth drop, and decrease.

important so that as a business owner I can at least have a productive conversation with my lawyer on
concepts that are important to the business and how I can best get those items into the contract while

some are extinct. Exotic animals are very expensive that require more than what people realize. These

captivity when they are meant to live in the wild. Taking exotic animals out of the wild disrupts the
natural food chain and negatively affects natural selection. Exotic animals belong in the wild because
the reason they are exotic is because they cannot be tamed like any other pet, and if they can t be
tamed, they can become a harm to the owner and to others that the animal feel threatened by. Injury
and possibly death is likely to happen under such circumstances of the animals being neglected.

Hollywood Portrayal Of Native People
Hollywood has been making movies about many people throughout the begining. One of the most
popular types of these movies is old westerns with cowboys and Indigenous people. Hollywood has
not always represented an accurate portrayal of Indigenous peoples in the portrayal of all Indigenous
Peoples as Plains Peoples, savages, and constantly warring against other tribes. The Indigenous
Peoples were not all Plains Peoples. Many of the indigenous people were from the southwest United

At Least Some Kids will Have a Fashion Sense Unhealthy, immoral, and harmful. What do these
words have in common? They don t describe gay adoption. The common misconceptualization that
gay people get to choose their sexuality is false, so why should parents who were born with a different
sexuality be scorned for wanting to adopt? Most people agree with the statement that children deserve
to live in a home with a loving family rather than be stuck in an orphanage until they re old enough to
live alone. Same sex adoption has success stories, studies, and statistics that back up why it s a great
thing that should be legally allowed. In America, every state is legally obligated to allow LGBT
adoption. Even if this is the case, that doesn t mean there aren t exceptions to the rules. For example,
only fourteen states and Washington D.C. allow second parent adoption. Second parent adoption is
where a same sex couple can adopt without being legally married yet. Due to these bans against
second parent adoption in place, there are more children being raised in straight single parent
households than raised by unmarried gay couples in the United States. There are also less children
raised in married LGBT households than in single straight parent households ( LGBT Adoption ).

Tropical Rainforest make up a total of 6% of all of earth s land surface. Not surprisingly though, it
produces 40% of all of earth s oxygen. There are 4 levels to the tropical rainforest; emergent, upper
canopy, understory, and forest floor. The rainforest received it s name because of it s self watering
system. Plants release water into the atmosphere through transpiration. This moisture usually has no
place to go which creates a thick cloud cover over the rainforest causing the humid, hot, atmosphere.
In the the rainforests are large rivers that branch off into smaller rivers that help to provide water for
the entire forest.
