This document discusses routing metrics for wireless mesh networks. It describes three common routing metrics: Expected Transmission Count (ETX), Expected Transmission Time (ETT), and Load Aware Expected Transmission Time (LAETT). ETX considers only link quality, while ETT also considers transmission rates but not traffic load. LAETT builds on ETT by incorporating remaining capacity to capture load and introduce load balancing. The document analyzes these three metrics based on packet delivery ratio, throughput, and bandwidth utilization based on simulation results. It finds that ETT and LAETT show better performance than ETX on these metrics by more fully capturing factors like transmission rates and traffic loads.
Capacity Improvement and Protection of LTE Network on Ethernet Based TechniqueTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
High demands for data rates in mobile communications is the reason for developing broadband
wireless access technologies. Long Term Evolution (4G LTE) networks which offer significantly higher data
rates and require suitably higher capacity backhaul networks. To prepare for the high data rates usage in
4G LTE, operators are using ethernet services in terms of backhaul connectivity. Protection packet
switching developed to anticipated network failure on ethernet based network technology. The failures in
the network include the link fails to connect to each network element, the network element fails to transfer
the data to the destination, or the quality drops below the standard. In this paper we used two ethernet
based technique, namely Ethernet over SDH and MPLS-TP with ring protection to anticipated network
failure on these techniques. Furthermore, we measured performance of network by measuring and
comparing the throughput, latency and jitter between Ethernet over SDH and MPLS-TP. We used
bandwidth capacity 240 Mbps as plant bandwidth link and worked in MIMO 2 2. The results of
measurements indicated that MPLS-TP with ring protection is the best technique to enhanced the
performance of LTE network.
In this paper, we examine WiMAX – based network and evaluate the performance for quality of service (QoS) using an idea of IEEE 802.16 technology. In our models, the study used a multiprocessor architecture organized by the interconnection network. OPNET Modeler is used to simulate the architecture and to calculate the performance criteria (i.e. throughput, delay and data dropped) that
slightly concerned in network estimation. It is concluded that our models shorten the time quite a bit for
obtaining the performance measures of an end-to-end delay as well as throughput can be used as an
effective tool for this purpose.
EFFECTS OF MAC PARAMETERS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF IEEE 802.11 DCF IN NS-3ijwmn
This paper presents the design procedure of the NS-3 script for WLAN that is organized according to the hierarchical manner of TCP/IP model. We configure all layers by using NS-3 model objects and set and modify the values used by objects to investigate the effects of MAC parameters (access mechanism, CWmin, CWmax and retry limit) on the performance metrics viz. packet delivery ratio, packet lost ratio, aggregated throughput, and average delay. The simulation results show that RTS/CTS access mechanism outperforms basic access mechanism in saturated state, whereas the MAC parameters have no significant impact on network performance in non-saturated state. A higher value of CWmin improves the aggregated throughput in expense of average delay. The tradeoff relationships among the performance metrics are also observed in results for the optimal values of MAC parameters. Our design procedure represents a good guideline for new NS-3 users to design and modify script and results greatly benefit the network design and management.
A bi scheduler algorithm for frame aggregation in ieee 802.11 nijwmn
IEEE 802.11n mainly aims to provide high throughput, reliability and good security over its other previous
standards. The performance of 802.11n is very effective on the saturated traffic through the use of frame
aggregation. But this frame aggregation will not effectively function in all scenarios. The main objective of
this paper is to improve the throughput of the wireless LAN through effective frame aggregation using
scheduler mechanism. The Bi-Scheduler algorithm proposed in this article aims to segregate frames based
on their access categories. The outer scheduler separates delay sensitive applications from the incoming
burst of multi-part data and also decides whether to apply Aggregated - MAC Service Data Unit (AMSDU)
aggregation technique or to send the data without any aggregation. The inner scheduler schedules
the remaining (delay-insensitive, background and best-effort) packets using Aggregated-MAC Protocol
Data unit (A-MPDU) aggregation technique.

Performance evaluation of interference aware topology power and flow control ...IJECEIAES
Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Network (MRMC-WMN) has been considered as one of the key technology for the enhancement of network performance. It is used in a number of real-time applications such as disaster management system, transportation system and health care system. MRMC-WMN is a multi-hop network and allows simultaneous data transfer by using multiple radio interfaces. All the radio interfaces are typically assigned with different channels to reduce the effect of co-channel interference. In MRMC-WMN, when two nodes transmit at the same channel in the range of each other, generates co-channel interference and degrades the network throughput. Co-channel interference badly affects the capacity of each link that reduces the overall network performance. Thus, the important task of channel assignment algorithm is to reduce the co-channel interference and enhance the network performance. In this paper, the problem of channel assignment has been addressed for MRMC-WMN. We have proposed an Interference Aware, Topology, Power and Flow Control (ITPFC) Channel Assignment algorithm for MRMC-WMN. This algorithm assignes the suitable channels to nodes, which provides better link capacity and reduces the co-channel interference. In the previous work performance of the proposed algorithm has been evaluated for a network of 30 nodes. The aim of this paper is to further evaluate the performance of proposed channel assignment algorithm for 40 and 50 nodes network. The results obtained from these networks show the consistent performance in terms of throughput, delay, packet loss and number of channels used per node as compared to LACA, FCPRA and IATC Channel Assignment algorithms.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF OLSR PROTOCOL IN MANET CONSIDERING DIFFERENT MOBILITY...ijwmn
A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is created when an independent mobile node network is connected
dynamically via wireless links. MANET is a self-organizing network that does not rely on pre-existing
infrastructure such as wired or wireless network routers. Mobile nodes in this network move randomly,
thus, the topology is always changing. Routing protocols in MANET are critical in ensuring dependable
and consistent connectivity between the mobile nodes. They conclude logically based on the interaction
between mobile nodes in MANET routing and encourage them to choose the optimum path between source
and destination. Routing protocols are classified as proactive, reactive, or hybrid. The focus of this project
will be on Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol, a proactive routing technique. OLSR is known as
the optimized variant of link state routing in which packets are sent throughout the network using the
multipoint relay (MPR) mechanism. This article evaluates the performance of the OLSR routing protocol
under condition of changing mobility speed and network density. The study's performance indicators are
average packet throughput, packet delivery ratio (PDR), and average packet latency. Network Simulator 2
(NS-2) and an external patch UM-OLSR are used to simulate and evaluate the performance of such
protocol. As a result of research, the approach of implementing the MPR mechanism are able to minimise
redundant data transmission during the normal message broadcast. The MPRs enhance the link state
protocols’ traditional diffusion mechanism by selecting the right MPRs. Hence, the number of undesired
broadcasts can be reduced and limited. Further research will focus on different scenario and environment
using different mobility model

Implementation of Mobility and QoS Aware Energy Efficient Anycast Routing in ...Eswar Publications
Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a self-configuring network. It is wireless as well as infrastructure-less networks. It requires limited energy and resources. In MANET, data travel through the host. Each mediator host acts as a router. Therefore, It is difficult to guess the future location or network topology of the host. Anycast routing is nothing but one to one of many associations. In anycast routing, multiple destinations share the same IP address. From multiple destinations, packet routed to the nearest destination. Anycast is the simplest way of
communication. It has minimum communication overhead because packet forwarded to the nearest destination.
Therefore, it saves power, network bandwidth and message collision during message transmission. Due to host movement and dynamic changes in network topology stability and QoS of nodes is an important issue in MANET. These issues are addressed by Mobility and QoS aware energy efficient routing protocol. Proposed protocol has three major models: (1) Consistency model to identify stable nodes in network, (2) Traffic model to take QoS into consideration by checking traffic in network and (3) Energy model to make sure the link duration is within an acceptable range. Therefore, high data delivery can be achieved and nodes energy will be taken into the
consideration and reduce the link failure due to energy loss. PDR of EMQAR protocol is higher than existing MQAR protocol by 9%. Energy cosumption of EMQAR protocol is less than MQAR protocol by 2%. Dealy of EMQAR protocol is reduced by 1% than MQAR protocol. Control overhead of EMQAR protocol is 10% lesser than MQAR protocol.

JCWAEED: JOINT CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT AND WEIGHTED AVERAGE EXPECTED END-TO-END DE...csandit
In recent years, multi-channel multi-radio Wireless Mesh network has become one of the most important technologies in the evolution of next-generation networks. Its multi-hop, selforganization,self-healing and simple deployment is an effective way to solve the bottleneck problem of last mile. In this paper, we propose a new routing metric called WAEED, deployed in JCWAEED protocol, a joint channel assignment and weighted average expected end-to-end delay routing protocol which considers both interference suppression with factor IF and end-toend delay. Additionally, we give the exact calculation formula of transmission delay and queuing delay. Simulations results demonstrate that JCWAEED outperforms other joint design routing protocols in terms of throughput, end-to-end delay and packet loss rate.
Quality of Service for Video Streaming using EDCA in MANETijsrd.com
Mobile Ad-hoc network(MANET) is a collection of wireless terminals that are able to dynamically form a temporary network. To establish such a network no fixed infrastructure is required. Here, it is the responsibility of network nodes to forward each other's packets and thus these nodes also act as routers. In such a network resources are limited and also topology changes dynamically. So providing Quality of service(QoS) is also necessary. QoS is more important for real time applications for example Video Streaming. IEEE 802.11e network standard supports QoS through EDCA technique. This technique does not fulfill the requirements of QoS. So, in this project modified EDCA technique is proposed to enhance QoS for Video Streaming application. This technique is implemented in NS2 and compared with traditional EDCA.
Local Restoration in Metro Ethernet Networks for Multiple Link FailuresEditor IJCATR
Ethernet a popular choice for metropolitan-area networks (MAN) due to simplicity, cost effectiveness and scalability. The
Spanning-Tree based switching mechanism, which is considered to be very efficient at avoiding switching loops in LAN environment,
is a performance bottleneck in Metro network context. Handling of link failure is an important issue in metro Ethernet networks. A
link failure may result in serious service disruptions. A local restoration method for metro Ethernet with multiple spanning trees, which
aims at fast handling of single link failures in a distributed manner, have been proposed in the literature. In this paper, we propose a

Network on Chip Architecture and Routing Techniques: A surveyIJRES Journal
The processor designing and development was designed to perform various complex logical information exchange and processing operations in a variety of resolutions. They mainly rely on concurrent and sync, both that of the software and hardware to enhance the productivity and performance. With the high speed growth approaching multi-billion transistor integration era, some of the main problems which are symbolized by all gate lengths in the range of 60-90 nm, will be from non-scalable delays generated by wire. All similar problems may be solved by using Network on Chip (NOC) systems. In the presented paper, we have summarized research papers and contributions in NOC area. With advancement in the technology in the on chip communication, faster interaction between devices is becoming vital. Network on Chip (NOC) can be one of the solutions for faster on chip communication. For efficient link between devices of NOC, routers are needed. This paper also reviews implementation of routing techniques. The use of routing gives higher throughput as required for dealing with complexity of modern systems. Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET), identified as a mobile ad hoc network MANETs with several added constraints. Basically, in VANETs, the network is established on the fly based on the availability of vehicles on roads and supporting infrastructures along the roads, such as base stations. Vehicles and road-side infrastructures are required to provide communication facilities, particularly when enough vehicles are not available on the roads for effective communication. VANETs are crucial for providing a wide range of safety and non-safety applications to road users. However, the specific fundamental problem in VANET is the challenge of creating effective communication between two fast-moving vehicles. Therefore, message routing is an issue for many safety and non-safety of VANETs applications. The challenge in designing a robust but reliable message dissemination technique is primarily due to the stringent QoS requirements of the VANETs safety applications. This paper investigated various methods and conducted literature on an idea to develop a model for efficient and reliable message dissemination routing techniques in VANET.

Abstract
Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is an autonomous wireless network, deploy without any fixed infrastructure and assistance of base stations. Each node in network shares wireless link for interconnections and not only operates as an end system, but also as a router to forward packets. Since the network nodes are mobile, can be move in any direction with varying paces that generate high dynamicity of network so the protocols that are developed for general ad hoc networks are unsuitable for such an environment. In addition, on-hand routing protocols performance decreases as size of network increased. In this context, to enhance the recitation of routing in MANETs, we propose a new approach in this paper, named Advanced Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (A_AODV). It is a modified version of traditional AODV routing protocol, shrink the active path whenever optimal pathway is available and switches the traffic on it. Simulation studies are conducted using NS2 to prove that proposed approach enhance network performance when network size, load or the mobility increases

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
