This document discusses various chemical reagents used in chemical analysis and reactions. It provides a classification and overview of common reagents for aldehydes, ketones, quinones, amines, and redox reactions. For each reagent, it describes the basic principle and applications. Some example reagents covered include PDAB, ninhydrin, 2,6-dichloroquinone-4-chloroimide, MBTH, Bratton-Marshall reagent, and 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride. The document is intended as an informational guide on reagents used in chemical and pharmaceutical analysis.

Method Validation - Limit of Detection, Quantitation limits and Robustnesslabgo
Prepared By: Shruti Vij (Senior Analyst) , Geeta Mathur(Senior Scientist) ,Khushbu ( Analyst)
This slide show contains detailed explanation of three characteristics of method validation- Limit of detection, Quantitation limits and Robustness. Limit of detection is the minimum amount of substance that can be detected but not measured, quantitation limit is the minimum amount of substance which can be detected and measured. Common approach to these procedures- signal to noise ratio has also been covered. Robustness is a characteristic which determines a method’s reliability when deliberate variations are induced in parameters.
In this slide contains introduction, principle, precautions, solution and assay method for vitamin B series.

As we all know chromatographic fingerprinting of botanicals is a quite recent concept. This presentation will help to the beginners to understand basic thories and fundamantals of thin layer chomatography. The presentation will also provide basic experiemental understanding to perfrom HPTLC fingerprinting of samples/extracts/formulations.
Reagents & reactions in estimation of pharmaceuticalsudaya rajitha
Reagents are used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of the pharmaceutical preparations, as they react with particular groups and increase their detectability by impart colour to the compounds.

Paul Graham, the founder of startup incubator YCombinator, put it best when he described LISP as his old company's secret weapon. Think about, if you use all of the same tools as everyone else, how do you expect to achieve better results?
Clojure is a LISP language created in 2009 by Rich Hickey. Built initially on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) it has since been ported to run on Microsoft and JavaScript. (That's right the browser). Clojure gives you all of the power and stability of the JVM without the clunkiness of Java.
Most developers have never worked with a functional language before and many who have found the use of parenthesis instead of braces intimidating. Don't worry. Once it is broken down to you, I think you will see the beauty of it.
In this fast and fun session, we will build an app using Clojure. We will enhance it, test it and explore why functional is a better programming model than OOPs. We will even explore why such programs are better at multitasking than object oriented ones.

Ninhydrin Based Visible Spectrophotometric Determination of GemigliptinRatnakaram Venkata Nadh
A simple method is described to determine the amount of gemigliptin in bulk and tablet formulation by visible spectrophotometry. Basis of the proposed method is the reaction of the primary amine present on gemigliptin with ninhydrin in alkaline pH (alkaline borate buffer) medium to produce a purple color (Ruhemann’s purple) which has maximum absorption at 558 nm. The method was validated as per the current ICH guidelines. The obtained regression equation (y = 0.0148x+0.0011) in the range of 5-30 μg mL-1 has a good correlation coefficient (> 0.999). As the method does not require any separation, it is rapid and simple. The recovery levels of the drug were in the range of 99.73 – 99.96. This method is a green method as it no organic solvents were employed

Method Development and Validation of Clopidogrel Bisulphate by Reverse Phase-...SriramNagarajan15
A new, simple sensitive, rapid, accurate and precise RP-HPLC method was developed for the estimation of Clopidogrel bisulphate in bulk drug and pharmaceutical formulation. Clopidogrel bisulphate was chromatographed on a reverse phase C18column (150 mm x 4.5 mm, i.d 5μm) in a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and phosphate buffer (pH: 3.0) in the ratio of 60:40 % v/v. The mobile phase was pumped at a flow rate of 1 ml/min with detection at 224 nm. The detector response was linear in the concentration of 50-150 μg /ml. The limit of detection and limit of quantitation was found to be 1.3 and 4.2 µg/ml, respectively. The intra and inter day variation was found to be less than 2%. The mean recovery of the drug from the solution was 99.79%. The proposed method is simple, fast, accurate, precise and reproducible hence, it can be applied for routine quality control analysis of Clopidogrel bisulphate in bulk drug and pharmaceutical formulation. Key words: Clopidogrel bisulphate, RP-HPLC, Validation, Accuracy, Precision.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
