The style of the radio advert is serious and persuasive , trying to get the audience which is
parent’sspecificallymumstouse theirstore by promotingthe offerstheyhave. The style being
quite serious, makes it slightly disinteresting for the audience, but it being also persuasive
,convincesthe audiencetostill listento the advertand to goto that store because of the offers.
To shop at Sainsbury’s because of the different offers they have, the actor talks about the
offer they have on meat and she starts talking about what to put on the meat to make it
tastes better, this making the audience want to buy it.
The tag line forthe advertis“Try SomethingNew Today”. The tagline makesthe audience want
to shop at that store because they might want to “ try something new today” such as the
particularoffersavailable there and the prices of the products being more cheaper than other
stores.
Conversational and informative language was used in the advert. This is because of the
target audience for this advert being , stay at home mums , between the ages of 35-45, who do
the shoppingforthe families,sotheywill listentothisadvertandhearthe offersandthendo the
shopping at that store to save money.
BritishAccent/New Castle /youngfemale. The actress accentwas a fairlyregional Britishaccent.
This gives the advert a more of a serious , and professional sounding advert, and gives the
audience anideaof whatthe store isgoingto be like,andhow the people who work there might
be like.
The company name wasmentionedin the advert 2 times. The company name wasn’t repeated a
lotof timesbecause the advertwould have been longer, because of the other things the actress
had to mentioninthe 30 secondadvert.It wasmentionedenoughtimesforthe audiencetoknow
what the company was.
No contact details were mentioned in the advert.
In the advert background music is played throughout the whole advert, some calm jingling
sounds.

the offers on the meats they have and what sauces to put on them.
I Think this is a good advert because of the actress using the offers that the store has which
makesthe people listening to the advert want to go and shop there because of them offers,
but no contact details were mentioned in the advert when they should have been.
