Informative adverts are often given by the
government to display certain pieces of
information that they want the public to
acknowledge. For instance, drink driving
adverts.
3. Series
Some adverts come together to create a small
TV series or a mini adventure. For example;
the Daz soap powder adverts.
4. Unique selling point (USP)
During the advert, the products most unique
and superior point will be highlighted for the
audience to see. I.e.. Supermarket adverts
highlight their deals.
5. How are you displaying your product
during the advert?
During our perfume advert, the voice over
written and inserted over the advert will
explain the purpose of the perfume and the
result it will give to women.
During our music advert, the music playing in
the background displays what you are buying
and the voice over explains this too.
6. How are you using the actors?
Sam who is the actress in our perfume advert
will spray the bottle on her to display the
product.
Kelsey plays the brand new artist in our music
advert and she will lip sync to her ‘brand new
single’.
7. Props
In the perfume advert the most important prop
is the perfume bottle. We will also use make
up for the actress to change her attitude in
the change of songs.
During the music advert we are using the
recording studio and all its little bits like the
microphone, headphones and soundboard.
8. How are you using mise en scene?
The mise en scene in the perfume advert is the
actress getting ready for a night out, doing her
make up in the mirror before she sprays the
perfume and becomes more alive.
In the music advert, the mise en scence is the
brand new artist going to a recording session
to produce and record her new single.
