Questionnaire Analysis
Audience Research
 Observation: 57% of my audience who answered my questionnaire were male.
 What this says about my audience: My audience for my Health campaign will have a slight more amount
of males who it will appeal to, but it will have to appeal to both genders as 42% of my audience who
answered my questionnaire are also females. My campaign will be targeting both genders anyway as the
campaign will affect anybody who has Health issues.
 How will your product appeal to this audience: I will include different aspects to make sure that the
campaign will appeal to both genders. This means using males & females in different advertisements If I
make them, or including them in posters I make to generate awareness for my campaign. My campaign
will also use multiple different colours which well help draw the attention of both genders, instead of
using one colour which may only appeal to just males or just females.
Audience Research
 Observation: 50% of my audience who
answered my questionnaire are
between the ages of 17 & 21, 29% of
my audience were 16 or under, 14% of
my audience are over 40, and 7% of
my audience being ages between 30-
40.
 What this says about my audience:
This means my audience are a majority
of younger adults & teenagers rather
than being older. This means that my
product will need certain aspects to
appeal to these young people as it can
be hard to get the attention of
younger adults. I will also need to take
the elders into consideration as well,
since I can’t make a product which is
going to appeal heavily to younger
people, but not affect the elders.
 How will your product appeal to this
audience: To help to make my product
appeal to younger adults & older
people, I will have to look at making
different advertisements which will hit
both groups & appeal to them both.
This means using specific techniques &
creating certain advertisements which
will appeal to them.
Audience Research
 Observation: 35% of my audience who
answered my questionnaire are in full time
education, 29% are in full time work, 29% are
in full time education with part time work, and
7% just have part time work.
 What this says about my audience: This tells
me that the majority of my audience are still in
education, but there are some people in my
audience who are working, full time or part
time. This means I will have to make my
product educational, but not too much as most
of my audience are already in full time
education. It will also need to appeal to the
people who are working, as they may not find
enough time from work to look at my product,
which means it will need to appeal to the
people who work, for them to spend time
looking at my product.
 How will your product appeal to this audience:
I will include different aspects within my
product to help appeal to the people who are
working. This means I could use a poster or
some advertisement which could take place in
a work place, for the people who are working,
or in an educational place such as college,
schools etc for the people in education. This
means then that it will appeal to both sides as
the different locations which are included will
reflect to where they are going each day.
Audience Research
 Observation: 50% of my audience who
answered my questionnaire said that
think they are average, on ‘How
Healthy Do You Think You Are’
question. 29% said that they think
they are Healthy, 14% said they think
that they are Very Healthy & 7% said
they think that they are Not Very
Healthy.
 What this says about my audience:
This tells me that the majority of my
audience think they are about average
health, due to what they do. Some of
these people exercise, but also eat a
lot of junk food & sugary foods. This
means that my audience have
different meal types to each other,
due to some people thinking they are
Healthy, & some think they are not.
 How will your product appeal to this
audience: To make my product appeal
to my audience, I will use different
techniques & provide key pieces of
information for those who think that
they are not that healthy. This means
the people who think they are Healthy
will learn more, which will help them
maintain being healthy, & try persuade
the others to become more healthy.
Audience Research
 Observation: Most of my audience responses
reflect on eating. Most of the responses say that
they eat healthy, while few say the don’t eat
healthy or they eat a lot. Most of the answers
also state that they exercise regularly, while few
say they don’t.
 What this says about my audience: This tells me
that my audience’s answers are mixed of both
eating healthy & not healthy, and exercising/not
exercising. This means that when I create my
product I will need to include things which will
appeal to the people who already eat
healthy/exercise, as well as appealing to the
people who don’t.
 How will your product appeal to this audience:
My product will need certain things including into
it if I want to appeal to the people who already
do healthy activities, & the people who don’t.
This means I will need to use different techniques
& information to generate products which will
either appeal to both, or a separate poster which
will appeal to one group, & another to appeal to
the other.
Audience Research
 Observation: The male responses I received on this
question were the ones who mainly suffered from
problems, while only 1/3 of females suffered from
problems. The majority of the younger group had
experienced some of them, but less than the older group
as they haven’t had long enough to experience most of
them.
 What this says about my audience: This tells me that the
younger group of my audience tend to be more active/fit
rather than the older people. This means some of these
problems will of affected them when they are exercising or
such. It also tells me that some members of my audience
haven’t actually experienced anything at all. This would
mean that they are healthy to not experience these
problems yet.
 How will your product appeal to this audience: To make my
product appeal to my audience, I will need to look at the
certain problems which are most common in my audience
so I can target them. This will allow me to see what is/has
affected my audience & try to make a product which can
work to appeal against that problem. This means I could
promote sports/exercising or healthy eating to prevent
some problems such as chest pains or persistent coughing
happen. Although some of these problems may not
actually be caused from anything except from smoking or
drinking alcohol, otherwise I will have to make a product
which will try appeal to my audience to try help them stop
these habits.
Audience Research
 Observation: 72% of my audience eat junk food,
64% eat sugary foods, 36% drink alcohol, 21%
don’t exercise, 14% smoke & 14% don’t do any of
these.
 What this says about my audience: This tells me
that the majority of my audience are not eating
very healthy as they are eating junk food & sugary
foods. Some of my audience eat both of these, &
not just one. Some of my audience don’t exercise,
which means this is causing them to not burn off
calories or fat which can make them unhealthy.
The people who smoke/drink alcohol are also
being unhealthy because of the habits they have
are making them more unhealthy.
 How will your product appeal to this audience: To
make my product appeal to the people who are
being unhealthy, I will need to include information
& images in my product which will appeal to them
to change. This could consist of sports be
implemented, for exercise or having healthy foods
& how nice they would look when cooked like a
certain type of chicken salad. This would then
help appeal to my audience which may cause
them to think about changing their ways.
Audience Research
 Observation: 75% of my audience said that
they eat healthy foods, 58% said they eat 5
fruit or veg a day, 50% said they do 30
minutes of exercise per day, 41% said they
drink 2 litres of water a day, & 16% said they
get more than 8 hours of sleep a day.
 What this says about my audience: This tells
me that the majority of my audience eat both
healthy foods and 5 fruits or veg a day. This
means that most of my audience have some
sort of healthy lifestyle by eating healthy
foods on certain occasions. Half of my
audience do exercise per day, which means
the will be a little bit healthier than if they did
not. Some of my audience get 8 hours sleep
which others don’t meaning they have a
steady sleeping schedule. Few of my audience
drink at least 2 litres of water a day,
 How will your product appeal to this
audience: To appeal to my audience, I will
show different elements within my product
creation. This will include of something like
sports & drinking water, al the way to eating
healthy food. I can also include information
about not eating healthy or looking after your
body.
Audience Research
 Observation: 43% of my audience say
that why think they could change their
ways & try to become healthier. 21% of
my audience says that they could
change, but they don’t think that it
would make there. 7% don’t think they
would be able to change, but they would
like to try it, & 7% of my audience don’t
think they could change, & they don’t
think they could do it.
 What this says about my audience: This
tells me that the majority of my audience
would like to change their ways from
what they currently do. To do this I will
need to include some sort of healthy
activities. They will both have to appeal
to both genders otherwise it will only
appeal to one gender.
 How will your product appeal to this
audience: My product will have to appeal
to my audience otherwise my campaign
isn’t going to work. I need to create
products which provide information for
my audience, as they will need it. I also
need to think about what other things I
can use to help make my product appeal
to my audience when talking about
change.
Audience Research
 Observation: 38% of my audience know
about information & place where they can
get help to change. They would also accept
the help they receive to change. 23% know
about information, but wouldn’t accept the
help, 23% don’t know about any information
and they wouldn’t accept any help to
change. 15% don’t know about information,
but they would accept the help to change
themselves.
 What this says about my audience: Only
some of my audience are actually aware of
any help that they can receive to help deal
with problems for a better lifestyle and a
healthier one. Some of my audience don’t
know what information & help is available
to them to help change their lifestyle. Some
of my audience would also change if they
gained the help they needed, while some of
them would not.
 How will your product appeal to this
audience: To help appeal to my audience, I
will include information & specific details on
where to find appropriate information to
help my audience change. I will also
advertise for a healthier lifestyle, which also
could affect their choice to either change or
not.
