Bat - Mobile Toy
• This leaflet is a manual for a toy model of the Bat Mobile, & it states of to use the
toy properly. It uses multiple images for each different steps to help portray how
the toy is meant to be used.
• To back up it’s instructions, the leaflet uses a slight form of typography, which in
it’s design, helps the reader understand the manual rather than just an image of
the product, with a massive amount of text.
• The leaflet has a black and white colour scheme. This gives a more clear look to
the design, but also allows for the message to be portrayed across. There are
multiple bold characters which consists of the title and each step number, to
signify something important & significant. There are small annotations alongside
the imagery which are a different font which is slimmer than the rest, to show a
change in where the text is & to separate it from the other text.
• The paragraphs are in small, clear text which have no confusing changes within
them. It is easy to understand and read, giving the intentions & explanations of
how to use the toy on each step, without using too many words.
• The manual has good accuracy with how it is designed. With the use of
Conciseness, avoiding ambiguity & keeping it non bias, the manual is clear &
understandable, with obvious instructions on how to operate the toy. This allows
the readers to have more clarity in the manual.
Newspaper Article
• This magazine article is providing information about weddings, with
specific numbers & statistics for a range of different information.
• It has the colour scheme of black & white, like most articles will have. This
allows the article to have clarity, as well as avoiding ambiguity. The article
also references certain pieces of information with specific statistics.
• The article includes some images to back up the story & help illustrate
what point is trying to get across. This also saves just having massive
amounts of text & also helps to change the layout to have a more
appealing look.
• The article has multiple different paragraphs within itself, which ones
require to be broken up due to having a lot of text. The article itself is not
using Conciseness, & it avoids being bias.
• The font which is used is a nice, clean, clear font, which is not In bold, and
easy to read. Certain pieces of text are amplified in bold to show
significance compared to other pieces of text. This is used for either
important pieces of text, small quotes annotating an image or for
referencing sources.
Sash Leaflet
• The Sash leaflet is a small leaflet to give information to vulnerable
young teens between the age of 16-24 about getting help.
• The leaflet has a green and white colour scheme, which allows
them to draw attention as green is a neutral colour. This means it
will help to keep the leaflet having clarity, as well as attracting
multiple people from both gender groups.
• The leaflet is set out into 3 different sections, which all have a
different pieces of work on them. Each section uses Conciseness,
keeping all of the information into one area, simple and clean. This
helps give the reader clarity when looking at the leaflet.
• The leaflet uses both bold text and none bold text to identify what
is more significant than the other. The bold text tends to be
important information which is needed to catch the eye of the
reader.
How to guide
How to guide explain
• This how to guide is showing parents with clear images how to pick up a
baby and how to test the bottle for the baby.
• To keep the how to guide clear they use simple but clear images with a do
and don't side of things. This helps to give depth to what they are trying to
show you.
• The guide has a black and white colour scheme to keep things simple for
the viewer. This allows the message to be clear and easily visible to the
viewer. Some text is in bold and underlined, as well as the Don't part being
in a red text to symbolise that this is dangerous and not to do it.
• There aren’t any paragraphs in this image, as it would make the simplistic
design much more complicated. Adding more information or words may
confuse the audience and could easily get the mixed up with what to do
and not to do.
• The guide has good accuracy with how it is designed. With the use of bold
and underlined text to define what to read, and with the text in red for
what they shouldn't be doing, this helps complete the how to guide as it
defines the 2 sides they are trying to explain.
