Question no .4
 Since our film introduction is part of
the slasher/horror genre we decided
to watch films that had similar
storylines and also conduct
background research into who would
watch these types of films
What we found
Even though these films are rated 18
plus we found that the majority of
people who watched them were
between the ages of 16 to 24 and
especially males. We decided to rate
our film 15+ so that we can gain a
wide variety of audiences.
Other audiences
We also decided to target the 30 plus
population and cater to those who grew up in
the primetime of when gory horror films
were all the rage; this enables them to
reminisce in their childhoods. We also noticed
while conducting research that majority of
our viewers where male especially those who
are working class which is why our film
introduction suggested that there where
would be plenty of gory blood and female
victims in order to cater to their needs.
