- 2. The first thing we did before starting our production was by doing extensive research on the internet on the codes and conventions of the horror film genre. As a group to keep in touch and share our ideas easily we decided to create a instant message group chat on the popular social media application called Whatsapp. We also watched horror films of similar genres through websites such as YouTube and even watched some in DVD and Blue ray. This helped us to understand how to formulate our own ideas from existing productions and implete the set codes and conventions into
- 3. During filming we used Panasonic camera with high definition 1080p quality this enabled us to get the best quality shots possible for our production. We also used good quality tripod that enabled us to keep our shots steady and allowed us to shoot our film smoothly.
- 4. After filming we had to use adobe premier pro CS6 to edit our production. The programme allowed us to be more creative when it came to the all the footage we had and helped to make our finished product look more professional. We also used Photoshop to create our production company logos this helped us to learn how to create logos from scratch and allowed to us to be creative as possible.
