editing technique for stability editing where one shot
will cut to another shot to portray the action of the
subject in the first shot.
This enhances the feeling of continuity throughout the
footage. The action present on the screen will create a
‘visual bridge’. This can draw the viewers attention
away from any continuity issues or slight cutting.
3. The 180 degree rule is used as a guideline which ensures filming looks
realistic and doesn't’t confuse the audience or make them lose focus.
Characters in the scene should always have the same left-right relationship
to each other with filming only taking place within the 180 degree angle.
This allows the audience to create a greater sense on location in the shots
and gives them a sense of realism. The rule also implements stability in the
film.

4. Shot reverse shot is a continuity editing technique
which is used in conversations or when characters are
looking at each other or objects.
This would begin with what the character is looking at;
point of view shot or an over shoulder shot which will
then be followed by a reverse angle shot of the
character looking at it themselves.
This editing technique often ties in and relates with the
180 degree rule to keep up the continuity.
