2. To ensure my magazine was set within an ideal price range for
my target audience, I compared the price for similar acoustic
music magazines. An acoustic magazine would usually cost
about £8.99 and would be on sales in most magazine shops.
However, I am selling my music magazine for £3.99. I believe
that £3.99 is a really good price as is gives you exclusive
interviews with the worlds best artists and gives you an
opportunity to Win expensive prizes.
3. The Cover lines that I included in my magazine
cover were typed in a unique and creative font. The
text was in the colour black with a white stroke
around it. This made the text stand out and makes
it attractive to the audience.
I have used short and memorable phrases to
provide a less informative description of each
artists article. This is intended to intrigue the reader
curiosity into wanting more detail which can only be
found on the contents page, leading the reader
onto other features of interest.
4. The masthead is in a font that I found of the internet. This style
looks unique from other mastheads which is good as it will be
more attractive to the audience. It also has a white stroke
around it to make the black stand out.
Both of these pull lines are positioned at the top and bottom of the magazine.
The colour of the text contrasts well with the rest of the magazine as it is my
colour scheme. Also the colour of the text stands out on top the of the black
background behind it.
“WIN! EXCLUSIVE – WIN GUITAR WORTH OVER £300” This can really grab
the audience attention as the buyer has a chance of winning a prize. As well as
this, “UK’S NUMBER ONE ACOUSTIC MUSIC MAGAZINE” is showing that this
magazine is best source of information for best known and talented artists.
5. I have Put a letter ‘S’ in an opacity at 35% to blend with
the white background. I have chosen to do the letter ‘S’
as it is the start letter of strings which Is what my
magazine is called. I have also put it in the colour
orange/brown as that is my colour scheme.

6. Quotes are always a good way to attract an audience
as quotes can motivate you to better. Especially when
they are quotes from artists that helped them become
what they are today.
