A Critique of the Proposed National Education Policy Reform
Question 4 media
1. How did you use new media
technologies in the construction,
research and planning and evaluation
stages?
2. I used PowerPoint in various parts of my construction, research and
planning stages. This included my theoretical research, my analysis of
posters and magazines, the planning stage which included the pitch
and also the evaluation.
YouTube was used to upload any videos that we had
recorded in order for you and anyone else wishing to visit
my page to see. This included our main production
(trailer), our pitch in our planning stage and out answer to
question 3 in the evaluation
PowToon gave me another way to present my work and
make it more effective and different. I used PowToon on a
number of occasions which included in the planning stage
to present out budget stage and also in the evaluation for
question 3.
3. I only used Glogster once in my A2 coursework which is in this
question (question 4). I decided that this would be the most
effective way of presenting this question as it is eye
catching, presents pictures well and I was able to space each
image out without it looking cramped.
Prezi was used in the planning stage in which we created our job roles
presentation through and again in question 1 of the evaluation. Prezi is easy to
use but also gave me a unique way of presenting my work taking the reader on
a step by step stage of the presentation
Slideshare was used throughout my coursework as anything that
I created on a PowerPoint I had to convert it onto slideshare to
enable it to then be seen on my Yola site. When I started uding
Slideshare I had limited experience using it but I have now been
able to get the hang of it and now feel confident in what I am
doing.
4. Premier pro was used to make out trailer. It made it easy to transfer our
scenes onto the computer and place them into a sequence to which we
was able to add music to so we made an effective horror trailer. It was
helpful that we had used this application in our pre-lim task as it helped
me to get to know the basics.
Photoshop was used so we could produce a realistic horror poster
and film magazine. We have used Photoshop for many years which
meant it was easy to understand and meant we could make it as
effective as possible as we had experience in using the application.
A green screen was used for the images we used on our
horror poster and film magazine. This meant we was able to
take an image without having a background included which
made it easier to take away anything from the image we
didn’t want. Again we had used a green screen in AS so it
meant we had experience in using it.
