2. Research and Planning
While planning and research digital technology played a huge
part as it let us research everything about our artists and more.
This was done using Google. We also used social networking
sites for research and planning as you can see our artist Demi
Lovato has a Instagram page where she has communicated with
her audience through pictures. She has also promoted her up
coming albums by using this social media networking. Other
web.20 sites that came in handy were the YouTube videos, from
YouTube we got all the songs and videos that was ever needed,
even my questionnaire was uploaded on YouTube. Another
way of getting research my blog was using Prezi, this internet
site allowed me to use my imagination and create interesting

3. Production
While the construction of the music video digital technology played a huge
part. Everything was done buy a gadget, filming, editing and uploading.
While filming we used a digital camera to record all our footage to keep
the video camera still we used a tripod. While we were filming a mobile
phone was a must need as it had the song in it, we played it while filming
the performance based so that the artist could lip-sync it better, this was
to make the music video of better quality and to have a professional look.
While we were filming there would always be one of us taking few
pictures, this was to then be edited on Photoshop and used in the final
music video. You will able to see these pictures at the beginning of our
music video as a very short amount of time.
To edit our music video a advanced digital technology was used , Final cut
pro was a very easy to learn and use program. We edited our music video
on this program using YouTube videos as tutorial if we were confused or
didn’t know what to do something. By using this program we were able to
create a time lapse video of our artist in the beginning very easily, the
editing process look a lot of time as every detail and all footage had to be
of top standards and follow our genre of ‘pop’. One last digital technology
we used was YouTube, this is to upload our final music video and share it
to our audience. This was the best website to upload our music video as it
would reach a wider audience.

4. Evaluation

While writing the evaluation of our project digital technology played again a huge
part. Answering the evaluation question meant I needed evidence to show what I was
talking about or what I was referring to, for this using the internet then taking a
screen shot was very helpful for example the audience feedback I got we all done on
social media networking sites, where I received bad and good comments. This was a
very important part of the evaluation as I explaining how I had improved the negative
comments by making changes to our product. By using these social media networking
sites I received better audience feedback ask they were all within our target age of
15-20 years old.
I have used power point to answer all the question for the evaluation, this is because
this program would give me a freedom to do add any image and text where ever I
wanted. I then put the PowerPoint on to two different sites, Google drive and
Slideshare. What's good about these two websites is that it allows me to share my
whole presentation just the way it is. Out of all the other internet programs these
two were the best to use because google drive lets you edit the presentation very
easily if you did have any mistakes. Slide share is good because it is so simple to use
although you cannot edit in the slides that have already been uploaded.
Overall digital technology played a huge part in my project as it was needed at every
stage through the research and planning, production and the evaluation. Using
certain digital technologies has also improved and better our skills for example
Photoshop and final cut pro has defiantly improved my skills as these two were the
new programs I had to work with most.
