For my magazine, Idecideditwouldbe forthe popgenre.The reasonbeingthere isagap in the
marketfor a newpopmagazine offeringlotstoitsaudience.Magazineslike ‘We Love Pop’have
beenaroundfora fewyearsandsalesof the magazine are fallingtherefore anew popmagazine like
mine ‘Scenes’launchesthe popgenre intothe magazine worldagain.
My targetaudience isone basedonolderchildrenandyoungtomidteenagers;thismeansthe price
needstobe reasonable enoughforaperson(whoislikelytobe unemployed) toaffordona regular
basisand forthemto come awayfromreadingthe magazine feelingsatisfied.Ithinkforthatreason
my magazine would be bestdistributedinashoplike WHSmithandotherssimilartothis.It could
alsobe soldinsmallerstoredthatare more musicdominatedratherthaneverydayitemssuchas
HMV where there isa more concentratedmassaudience.Anotherformof distributioncouldbe
online asitis easilyaccessible for manyandas there ismore technologyinvolvedwithsellingand
advertisingnowadays,thisisaperfectwayto getmy magazine seenbymany.
Followingonfrommypointaboutusingthe internetasa wayof distribution,Ithinkthatbyusing
more up to date technologytodistribute mymagazine,itwill be seenmore bymyparticulartarget
audience.Asthe audience isyoungtheyare likelytobe goingonwebsitesthatare new sothat they
keepupwithtechnologythemselves.Myaudience isinthe mainstreamerbandsotheyare
constantlymakingeffortstofindthe new technologyanduse andbecome competentatusingit
also.If these magazinesare puton the same websitestheywill be seenbypeople we wanttosee it.

wantto distribute outmagazine.
