Throughout my magazine I have presented one artist within. I
have attempted to convey the rap genre throughout magazine
and artist, the white hockey mask that the artist is perceiving to
wear for starters is very typical of another rap artist, by the
name of A$AP Rocky, it is inspired by gang culture from the
ghetto therefore having my artist wear this on the cover page
suggests that the genre of the magazine is that of Rap. However
it also looks very menacing and violent also suggesting that this
is typical of the rap genre, However the gold watch on his wrist,
conveys money and wealth. This suggests that the artist is not
afraid to show his wealth off. The black hoodie also a fashion
statement as it is a branded logo that can also be classed as
expensive, but what this hoodie really suggests that the artist is
not only a music icon but a fashion Icon/symbol/statement as
well as being a successful rap artist. Along with the clothing and
accessories all in all the artist that I have tried to convey
throughout the magazine is that of an arrogant teen coming
into his twenties and at the same time showing maturity
throughout each page, if you take a look through each
individual page of the magazine the clothing and style of the
artist starts to mature as well as the posses etc. it shows how
he as an artist is maturing throughout every page and becoming
a young man.

Again as before a similar
style is conveyed within
the cover page of my
magazine. Again the
artist is wearing the gold
watch which conveys
wealth. But now the
artist does not have the
mask covering the whole
of the face but instead
now its his hand as well

4. Article Page
As I previously said throughout this question the
artist overtime throughout each page has been
revealing himself gradually for example the mask
and then the slight hand covering the face and
now in the article page nothing is covering his
face which also symbolizes his maturity as an
artist because now his clothes and fashion style
has also changed throughout and this is because I
wanted to convey that he is becoming this young
man/artist his poses change and his styles of
clothing as well. He now looks very serious and
professional in his posing and his clothing/style
of fashion has changed from hoodies etc. now to
a north face jacket and no mask and no gold
watch either, he is not flaunting his wealth as
before. But the picture faded into the
background is supposed to represent that the
artist who covered his face/the immature boy has
faded away but is still there as a changed man.
