Key duties/responsibilities for quality analyst 
1. Performs ‘static’ testing of functional requirements review (i.e., verify 
requirements as clear, concise, testable, etc.) 
2. Provides input/May develop the Test Plan 
3. Build test cases and rank based on the criticality of the business operation. 
4. Trace requirements to test cases to verify100% test case/script coverage to 
requirements/functional specs 
5. Works with Supervisor to estimate test case build and execution effort (e.g., initial 
pass rate assumptions, defect blocking assumptions) 
6. Identify/ Manage testing risks 
7. Reports on test execution progress and defect status 
8. Participates in defect management/ triage meetings 
9. Provides input to continuously improve test methodology 
10. Provides input to standard test metrics and reporting 
11. Work with Supervisor to develop the test plan scope, coverage and objectives 
12. Works within the Project Team and test team to address issues and report status 
13. Works with the Business Analyst to analyze and develop the proper test coverage 
14. May work with Business Analyst to influence and monitor User Acceptance

1. Bachelor Degree with proficiency in mathematics/statistics or related field 
and a minimum of 3 years progressive experience within the corporation 
or related field. In lieu of degree, a minimum of 11 years progressive 
experience within the corporation or related field. 
2. Must have the ability to complete thorough research, exercise good 
judgement and work independently. 
3. Must have a working knowledge of PC s and Microsoft Office 
applications. 
4. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
