Proposal
1.) Target Audience:
· The target audience is from teenagers to young adults to let young people understand
that domestic violence is not acceptable our target is to make everyone aware of domestic
violence and that it is still happening in the UK. We will make sure it is teen friendly and
that it does not contain violent content as the primary audience is aimed for teenagers.
. 2.) Purpose:
· The purpose of campaign film is to inform and spread awareness of domestic violence
around the UK. When the audience view our campaign, we want them to feel like they
have been given new knowledge or a different view on domestic violence, and to feel
certain of what is right and wrong in a relationship. Our purpose is to make sure people
are aware of what a healthy relationship is compared to a relationship involving domestic
violence.
3. Platforms:
The platforms we are going to put our campaign on YouTube as it is a very popular
platform. It is easy to access as well as other platforms, we want to spread the campaign
on many social media platforms. We will also distribute our campaign on Facebook, as
many videos uploaded to Facebook seem to get views and become popular, also
Facebook is a very popular mainstream platform which will hopefully boost our campaign,
so many people will be at least aware of our campaign.
4. Brief/Summary:
· Malvina is facing domestic violence in college; we will show what physical and mental
damage can cause in a domestic violence. Our campaign will include Malvina in college
and her daily struggles getting through the day with her abusive boyfriend. Our campaign
will be non-linear as it will include flashbacks. The beginning of the campaign will be of
flashbacks of Malvina’s abusive relationship. We will have many quick cuts clips of
different times of their relationship. It will be too long to include long cuts of their
relationship. The campaign will become the cutting seconds will be quick to illustrate
tension and importance; we will include this to create intense and to also make sure the
audience remember our advert campaign.
5. Length:
· The length of campaign will be around 2 minutes as we don’t want our campaign
advert to become boring towards the audience as the first targeted audience is teenagers.
We want the advert to be simple but meaningful towards the audience.
6. Images:
We will include images of our slogan this will illustrate the meaning behind our campaign; it
will also be something to remember as a reminder, and importance of domestic violence.
We will make sure the slogan is catchy or is memorable. We might include text of statistics
and facts to make our campaign advert very informative and to make our campaign video
look professional.
7. Logistics:
· Our locations will be Leyton Sixth Form College, as domestic violence can take place in
education settings as the main characters used in the campaign are teenagers. We want to
make this realistic as possible. We will also film outside of college and at Malvinas house to
represent their relationship at the house. Props will be used such as fake blood to
represent the extreme of domestic violence. We will not make it too graphic due to the
target audience being teenagers. The costumes will consist of casual clothing as most
teens would wear. The couple will be attending college in our campaign video.
8. Resources:
The resources we will be using to help us produce our advert campaign is a camera borrowed
from the college, we may use lighting from the college if we feel that a scene in our
campaign will need it. These resources will help us in the editing stage of our video.

  • 1. Proposal 1.) Target Audience: · The target audience is from teenagers to young adults to let young people understand that domestic violence is not acceptable our target is to make everyone aware of domestic violence and that it is still happening in the UK. We will make sure it is teen friendly and that it does not contain violent content as the primary audience is aimed for teenagers. . 2.) Purpose: · The purpose of campaign film is to inform and spread awareness of domestic violence around the UK. When the audience view our campaign, we want them to feel like they have been given new knowledge or a different view on domestic violence, and to feel certain of what is right and wrong in a relationship. Our purpose is to make sure people are aware of what a healthy relationship is compared to a relationship involving domestic violence. 3. Platforms: The platforms we are going to put our campaign on YouTube as it is a very popular platform. It is easy to access as well as other platforms, we want to spread the campaign on many social media platforms. We will also distribute our campaign on Facebook, as many videos uploaded to Facebook seem to get views and become popular, also Facebook is a very popular mainstream platform which will hopefully boost our campaign, so many people will be at least aware of our campaign. 4. Brief/Summary: · Malvina is facing domestic violence in college; we will show what physical and mental damage can cause in a domestic violence. Our campaign will include Malvina in college and her daily struggles getting through the day with her abusive boyfriend. Our campaign will be non-linear as it will include flashbacks. The beginning of the campaign will be of flashbacks of Malvina’s abusive relationship. We will have many quick cuts clips of different times of their relationship. It will be too long to include long cuts of their relationship. The campaign will become the cutting seconds will be quick to illustrate tension and importance; we will include this to create intense and to also make sure the audience remember our advert campaign.
  • 2. 5. Length: · The length of campaign will be around 2 minutes as we don’t want our campaign advert to become boring towards the audience as the first targeted audience is teenagers. We want the advert to be simple but meaningful towards the audience. 6. Images: We will include images of our slogan this will illustrate the meaning behind our campaign; it will also be something to remember as a reminder, and importance of domestic violence. We will make sure the slogan is catchy or is memorable. We might include text of statistics and facts to make our campaign advert very informative and to make our campaign video look professional. 7. Logistics: · Our locations will be Leyton Sixth Form College, as domestic violence can take place in education settings as the main characters used in the campaign are teenagers. We want to make this realistic as possible. We will also film outside of college and at Malvinas house to represent their relationship at the house. Props will be used such as fake blood to represent the extreme of domestic violence. We will not make it too graphic due to the target audience being teenagers. The costumes will consist of casual clothing as most teens would wear. The couple will be attending college in our campaign video. 8. Resources: The resources we will be using to help us produce our advert campaign is a camera borrowed from the college, we may use lighting from the college if we feel that a scene in our campaign will need it. These resources will help us in the editing stage of our video. ·
