The document summarizes Abi Long's process for producing an audio project. It describes finding sound effects from YouTube and converting them to mp3 format. It details editing the audio to create a conversation between three voices, adding radio sound effects and background static. Background whispering and echo effects were used for the third voice. Background music was also added. The process of editing images to create a security camera aesthetic is summarized, including adding effects to a door image and including project title text.

0x01 - Newton's Third Law: Static vs. Dynamic AbusersOWASP Beja
f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. In this talk we'll compare measures that are effective against static attackers and how to battle a dynamic attacker who adapts to your counter-measures.

2. Process
I wrote a rough script and then
typed it up properly, adding
sound effects. I then used
colours to make who says what
a bit more noticeable.
3. Process
Using YouTube and an audio
recorder (not pictured) I found
all the sounds I needed for my
audio project.
Using an onlinevideoconverter, I
converted all the YouTube videos
into mp3s, which I then saved into
one file on my USB.
4. Process
I had a lot of audio, but the first thing I had to focus on was the
people. That was the most important part and I had to use the
razor tool to make the audio flow like an actual conversation.
Since I had 3 voices I put them all on different audio sectors.
Next, I used my radio sound effect before each person spoke to
make it sound like they were using walkie talkies. I also used
quiet background static to further that vision. After that I added a
different static effect to the end to make it sound like it was
fading out. The 3rd voice was supposed to be a ghost so I added
some background whispering using my own voice and I added an
Echo to the end quote using 2 more recordings of the
same line. I then added all of the other sound effects
where they were needed. There were times when I
needed to move around the audio to make it sound
better, but it still held the same format the entire way
through. I listened to it individually whenever a new
sound was added to make sure it sounded good. I
debated adding music as I wasn’t sure if it would ruin
the mood or not. I settled on some background music
so that it heightened the tension/ Plus, the music I
chose was a lot less instrumental than normal music
and I think it worked well with the overall theme.
5. Process
I found a picture of a
chequered floor and
wall background and
used a colour overlay
to make it darker.
I added a pool of blood
to the ground and
made it look realistic,
however, I quickly
decided to swap it out
for a different picture.
I then added a
walkie talkie and
used the glow effect
to make the middle
look like it was
lighting up.
6. Process
I found a door online and then used colour overlay to
make it darker, then I took a screenshot (not pictured) I
put the screenshot over the original and then using a
selection tool I moved some parts to the left to make it
look slightly out of place.
I added static and a stripes to make it look like security
footage, lowering the opacity so that it overtakes the image,
but doesn’t hide it.
I made it black and white, since normally that’s what colour
CCTV is, I added a camera number to the bottom left and a
date and time to the bottom right. I then added the title of my
project which Is Radio Silence and then I used a good text to
make it stand out. It was originally red, but I turned the font
black to fit in with the aesthetic. It still stands out however due
to the large bold font.
