2. Shooting schedule
• I am going to shoot my advert on the 19th of January 2022 I
checked the weather for this day and the weather was meant to be
good and dry, however once I got to the location it was still lightly
damp outside due the rain that happened yesterday. I decided to use
this to my advantage I feel like the reflection of the light may reflex
onto the road and create a nice effect. I chose to shoot between 5:30
pm and 6:30 pm. I chose this because I am planning on photographing
buses and cars. I feel like this would be the busiest time of the day cars
as people would be leaving work at that time. I also checked the bus
timetable to see how many buses would be running at this time. After
doing my research by checking the bus schedule I found out that 9
buses would pass going east and 11 buses would pass going west I set
up my camera on the side of the road where the buses where heading
east as I felt like I would get better images if the bus was further away
as the blur of the image would look better . The bust stop that I used is
circled in red this is where all my photos were taken from. These
screen shots provide the times of buses when I was doing my
advertisement. 3 buses aren’t shown on these screen shots as the app
I used to find these screen shots only show buses from that bus
company the three buses that are missing where from a separate bus
company.

4. Camera settings
• When I was filming my
advertisement wanted to create a
blurred look on my print advert.
• The TV setting on this canon
camera allows you to adjust the
shutter speed the slower the shutter
speed the more blurred the image
will be.
5. Shutter speed
• This wheel on the top of the camera changes
the shutter speed the slower the shutter speed
the more blurred that the photo will be. When it
came to shooting, I experimented with lots of
different shutter speed however I found that
1/15 of a second will give me the best result.
6. Iso
• The ISO effects the brightness of the image
since I was shooting my advertisement at night,
I needed to increase the ISO to 1600 so that my
was not to dark
7. Why is a tripod
needed?
• This is the tripod that I used when I made
my print advertisement. A tripod is needed
as when I use the tv setting it makes things
that are in motion blurred therefor if I
where to hold the camera other things
would be blurred. Using the tripod made
the camera stable and then the only thing
that was blurred was the vehicles that I was
photographing.
