2. The brief
• The brief for this project is
to create a piece of video
content either a short film
or documentary based
about or around the city
of Sunderland.

3. About the client
• The client for the brief is Sunderland culture
which is a charity based in Sunderland.
Sunderland culture bring together some of
Sunderland's most important cultural assets
such as the fire station and the winter
gardens

4. Project plan
• For my project I will be talking about transport history in
the north east I think that this is a good idea as there is
lots of information I can talk about. I can also use a
mixture of my own clips and clips from YouTube. I plan to
discus the metros and the buses in the area specifically
Sunderland and the impact they have on the area. I
would like to have a mixture of interviews and my

are relevant to the brief
• I think that my ideas are relevant to the brief and
the project my short film will show a part of
Sunderland and talk about its history and how
public transport still continues to shape and change
the city.

6. Filming
locations
I plan on filming some of my footage at park lane bus
interchange and Sunderland train station. These locations are
all in the city of Sunderland in the northeast and very
recognizable to people in the northeast.

7. Equipment
and resources
• I will need a camera that can
record 1080p to make sure all
of my footage is of good
quality
• A tripod to mount the camera
on this will make sure all of my
footage is stable and not
shaky
• An SD to store the footage on
the SD card must have enough
storage on for all of the clips
