• As the skin layers continually replace itself, cells are
pushed outward where they die and flake off.
• Dandruff is more likely to occur in people with oily

fungus Malassezia.

• Coconut oil – has

worsen dandruff.

• Tar-based shampoos – used to treat
dandruff, Seborrheic dermatitis and
Psoriasis. The only problem is that it
may cause discoloration.
