How to create a PLA campaign?
To create a campaign, login to the Paytm Mall seller panel and follow these steps -
Click on PLA Dashboard

Accept the T&Cs and click on the Start Now button

Here, you can check your PLA wallet balance

Click on the Top-Up button
Follow these steps to add the amount to the PLA wallet -
Note – You can upgrade from gold to platinum member by simply topping-up your PLA wallet

A pop-up will appear, you need to share an RO of the amount with your Category
Account Manager (or the email ID mentioned over here)
Click on RO format to download the sample format
How to create a PLA campaign?
RO (release order) – It is a purchase order (PO) that is associated with a
contract to add an amount to the PLA wallet for advertising purposes.
This is basically a document that needs to be shared by the seller or by a
brand mentioning the budget or amount which needs to be spent on the
PLA campaign on Paytm Mall platform.
You need to share RO on your company’s letterhead along with the
signature and stamp
Always mention your Seller ID (MID) in the mail and use your registered
email id to send the same
The amount in the PLA wallet is updated within 48 hours from the
backend and you can begin the campaign immediately
Note – For any queries on adding money to your PLA wallet, you can reach out to our seller support by raising a ticket from the support tab

Scroll down the page and click on Create New Campaign available under the
Your campaign section
To create a new campaign, follow these steps:
Note – This feature is enabled for Platinum members only. Gold members can use the default campaign created by the system

Under the Settings section, you need to enter the campaign details -

Enter the name of your campaign
How to create a PLA campaign?
Enter the budget limit you have set for your PLA campaign on a per-day basis
E.g.. If you want to spend up to Rs. 600 daily, set the daily budget as Rs. 600
Note – The minimum daily budget limit is Rs.500
How to create a PLA campaign?
Here, you need to enter your maximum budget for this ad campaign.
As this field is optional, if you leave it blank, your campaign will run until the amount in your
wallet gets exhausted

Click on the Save button

Under the Product Exclusion section, you need to de-select the products which you do not want to advertise
Note – This feature is enabled for Platinum members only

Here, you can de-select the products in two ways -
AI - It will automatically exclude the products for a campaign that are analyzed to attract less attention
Manual - It will allow you to ‘exclude’ the products you don’t want to advertise

If you want to exclude the products manually, enable the button for Manual mode

Click on Yes, change to Manual Mode

Click on Edit Product Exclusion

Here, you can filter your list of products using the available options.
Click on the Apply button
Products satisfying the above requirements will appear on doing so

Now, de-select the products by simply clicking on them and then
clicking on Exclude Selected Products

Click on the Save button
Tip - If there is a higher number of products included in the campaign, there will be more chances of getting a higher ROI

Under the Bid Settings section, you need to set the bidding rate for your campaign -

Here, you need to select the type of bid for your campaign
How to create a PLA campaign?
There are two types of bid -
1- ROI (Return On Investment): ROI stands for Return on Investment or Return on Ad Spends. It is simply the returns that you get (through sales,
i.e. GMV in Rs) by investing in Paytm PLAs.
For example, if you invest Rs 100 in PLA and get GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) of Rs 500, then your ROI would be 500/100 = 5x, i.e. 5 times.
You can set your ROI Target in Bid Settings, i.e. the ROI you want to get through Paytm PLAs.
2- CPC (Cost Per Click): CPC stands for Cost-per-click (CPC), it refers to the cost that you pay for each click on your ads. It also means you pay
only when someone clicks on your ad and visits the product detail page.
Each time an ad space is available, an auction is carried out that decides which product will be placed on the available ad space. CPC Bid helps
you to set bids for your ads at the campaign level, category level, and SKU level.

PLA dashboard
Our system have created a default campaign for you, follow these steps to check the same :

By default, your campaign will appear as paused
Click on the icon to make it active

A pop-up will appear, click on the Yes button

This green icon means your campaign is Active

Click on the respective icon to update the budget details, exclusion of products
and bidding rate
Note – A gold member can modify budget details only

If any of your campaign looks like this, it means that this is a draft of the campaign (incomplete campaign/campaign not launched)
You can simply click on the Launch button and fill the pending details to make it live

  • 1. Creation of a Product Listing Ads campaign
  • 2. Gold Package Free credits and PLA packages Platinum Package The Platinum package is provided to all those sellers who have already shared an RO to top-up their PLA wallet. In this package, you will have access to all the features available under the PLA dashboard. The Gold package is provided to all those sellers who are using free credits and have not shared an RO to top-up their PLA wallet. In this package, you will have access to limited features As soon as you opt for PLA, you will get free credits worth Rs.1500 in your PLA wallet, which can be used to create a PLA campaign. You can further top-up the wallet by sharing the RO as per your requirement.   • 3. How to create a PLA campaign? To create a campaign, login to the Paytm Mall seller panel and follow these steps - Click on PLA Dashboard

  • 9. How to create a PLA campaign? A pop-up will appear, you need to share an RO of the amount with your Category Account Manager (or the email ID mentioned over here) Click on RO format to download the sample format
  • 10. How to create a PLA campaign? RO (release order) – It is a purchase order (PO) that is associated with a contract to add an amount to the PLA wallet for advertising purposes. This is basically a document that needs to be shared by the seller or by a brand mentioning the budget or amount which needs to be spent on the PLA campaign on Paytm Mall platform. You need to share RO on your company’s letterhead along with the signature and stamp Always mention your Seller ID (MID) in the mail and use your registered email id to send the same The amount in the PLA wallet is updated within 48 hours from the backend and you can begin the campaign immediately Note – For any queries on adding money to your PLA wallet, you can reach out to our seller support by raising a ticket from the support tab Sample of RO format

Scroll down the page and click on Create New Campaign available under the Your campaign section To create a new campaign, follow these steps: Note – This feature is enabled for Platinum members only. Gold members can use the default campaign created by the system

  • 15. How to create a PLA campaign? Enter the budget limit you have set for your PLA campaign on a per-day basis E.g.. If you want to spend up to Rs. 600 daily, set the daily budget as Rs. 600 Note – The minimum daily budget limit is Rs.500
  • 16. How to create a PLA campaign? Here, you need to enter your maximum budget for this ad campaign. As this field is optional, if you leave it blank, your campaign will run until the amount in your wallet gets exhausted

  • 19. How to create a PLA campaign? Here, you can de-select the products in two ways - AI - It will automatically exclude the products for a campaign that are analyzed to attract less attention Manual - It will allow you to ‘exclude’ the products you don’t want to advertise

  • 28. How to create a PLA campaign? There are two types of bid - 1- ROI (Return On Investment): ROI stands for Return on Investment or Return on Ad Spends. It is simply the returns that you get (through sales, i.e. GMV in Rs) by investing in Paytm PLAs. For example, if you invest Rs 100 in PLA and get GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) of Rs 500, then your ROI would be 500/100 = 5x, i.e. 5 times. You can set your ROI Target in Bid Settings, i.e. the ROI you want to get through Paytm PLAs. 2- CPC (Cost Per Click): CPC stands for Cost-per-click (CPC), it refers to the cost that you pay for each click on your ads. It also means you pay only when someone clicks on your ad and visits the product detail page. Each time an ad space is available, an auction is carried out that decides which product will be placed on the available ad space. CPC Bid helps you to set bids for your ads at the campaign level, category level, and SKU level.
