If I am interviewingabandof 2 or more,I wouldgo forthis
structure due to each of themgettinga piece of the pie onthe
mainimage.Equal publicity.Also,givesthe audience more of
an ideaof what the whole bandlooklike andeachindividual
looksequal,apartfromthe main singerhasto be inthe
middle forobviousreason,because he willbe the most
recognisable andfirsttolookat onstage.
If I am interviewingasoloartist,thiswouldbe the inspiration
for the shotI woulduse due to the audience gettingafull
image of the face of the artist,again,mainlyformore
publicityandtomake the artist become more recognisable.
Alsoaddsa sense of professionalismdue toKERRANGusing
thiskindof shot before,andwiththatbeingsucha high
profile rockmagazine,willmake mine lookalotmore
professional.

2. Photo shoot - Double Page Spread
Thisis definitelythe type of contentspage
layoutI am lookingtododue to it havingthe
stereotypical layoutforaRock magazine and
alsothe shots usedfollow the connotations.
The low keylightingandedgylookthroughthe
facial expressionsthe artistuse.Alsoitis
alwaysthe mainartistas the mainimage as
such onthe topof the contentspage always.
Andthe main image will take upatleasta
quarterof the whole page,leavingaquarterfor
the image of the frontcoverwhichisa
necessityandthe bottom2 quartersfor any
othersmallerimagesandthe mainpage
numbersthatwill be includedwiththeirarticle
attached. The backgroundon mine wouldalso
mostlikelybe the same asthe givenexamples,
a solidblackor white,more likelyblackto
follow the colourscheme of the genre.

as to what I am goingto laymine outlike whenIgatherall the
informationfromthe band/artistIwill be interviewing,the
style of a whole page beingtakenupbyan image of the artist
and thenthe article of the topic basedon.I have chosento
use thislayoutdue to itlookingveryprofessional,andIf I was
able to resemble thislayoutandthe presentationof this
example,itwouldlookverygoodandpresentable.
