Advantages And Disadvantages Of Economic Problems
Microeconomic
Basic economic problem
All societies always having the economic problem and the problem is of how to make the best use of
resources, limited or scarce. It is exists because of the resources available to satisfy the wants and
needs which is limited even though the wants and needs of people are endless. To match the limited
resources to the unlimited the wants and needs is the main of economic problem.
Limited of resources
There are 2 essential ways of limited resources:
1.Physical quantity is limited, for example, land cases that has a finite quantity.
2.Use is limited, for example, the labour and machinery cases that only can be used for one purpose at
only one time.

In traditional, surplus is a rare thing that can happen. The resources necessary does not have in a
indigenous country or a third world. They are controlled by wealthier economies and maybe by force
if they do., any surplus is either wasted, distributed or paid to certain authority that has already been
given the power and this happen in many cases.
Advantages And Disadvantages of traditional economy
Advantages that are certainly the most obvious is that custom and tradition is preserved while it is
nearly to non existant in mixed or market economies. There is also the fact that more specific and
pronounced role is getting by each member of a traditional economy, and this societies are always
have a very close knit and socially satisfied. For disadvantage, the main disadvantage is that
traditional economies are not enjoying the things and the other economies are taking for granted for
example, centralized utilities, western medicine and technology.

Peru
Peru is not only mountains like most people think, the country actually has chilly sierras, a dry coast,
and a humid jungle. Peru is a large country of contrasts when it comes to the regions and climates that
come with each region (Shields 10 13). The amount of people occupying these regions in the country
is an impressive 30.95 million as of 2013 (Gottlieb 1). The culture of course, like any other country,
has little differences in traditions and the ways of life depending on the part of the country. The
differences vary anywhere from festivals to food throughout the country. For each of the regions like
the Andres Mountains, what Peru is most geographically known for, are more Eastern towards the

influence on the language and dialect as well. Like many countries throughout the world, region to

Cryptography Essay
Abstract With the expansion in the field of computers and highly technically advanced communication
mediums like internet there is a necessity to secure the transmission of data. The information that is
transmitted over the internet is a highly sensitive and critical information which needs to be protected
from adversaries, hackers, and eavesdroppers etc. who bypass the existing security and perform
dangerous actions. Cryptography is the art and science of keeping the data transfer secure from
adversaries, hackers and eavesdroppers. Cryptography and its algorithm forms one of the essential
components to the security mechanisms in order to safeguard the data transmissions and data storage.
Without the use of cryptography the emails and information can be intercepted without any authorized
access.
After researching academic papers related to cryptography I understand the basic working of DES
algorithm and the cracking of the DES algorithm by brute force technology. I would like to explore
the cryptographic algorithms, the flaws associated with the algorithm. In this paper, I will discuss
about the DES algorithm and deficiency with the DES algorithm. I will discuss the existing problem
with double DES algorithm and the basics about the Triple DES and the problem with respect to the
Triple DES. A brief overview of AES has been provided.

All-Kinds-Of-Fur
Fashion, Incest, and Fur, in All Kinds of Fur and Donkeyskin Donkeyskin, by Charles Perrault, and
All Kinds of Fur by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, are both stories about a princess who runs away from
her kingdom because of the king s desire to marry her, despite the fact that the marriage would be
incestuous. In Donkeyskin, the king is overtly powerful and wealthy, and much of his wealth is
obtained by his Master Donkey, who excretes gold. In both tales it is necessary for the princess to find
some means of discouraging her father s sinful proposal, of which she asks for three magnificent and
impossible dresses to be made and for the skin of an animal or multiple animals. The princess requests
in both tales, however, are futile, because ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The princesses having, or not having, outside assistance in their journeys makes their character act and
think differently. The princess in Donkeyskin, though being the optimal choice of a bride for the king
for being wise and accomplished, is not as overtly clever and wise as the princess in All Kinds of Fur.
The princess, referred to as All Kinds of Fur, is solely responsible for her choices and actions, coming
only from her own savvy brain. Horrified by her father s incestuous demands, All Fur seeks her own
counsel. (Marshall 409). Firstly she contrives the seemingly impossible tasks that she sets upon her
father, including having him obtain one dress golden as the sun, one as silvery as the moon, and one as
bright as the stars (Grimm, All Kinds of Fur ) and a mantle of a thousand different kinds of fur and
hair (Grimm, All Kinds of Fur ). Secondly, All Kinds of Fur makes, and acts upon, the decision to run
away, disguised by her mantle of furs, before having to marry her father. Thirdly, All Kinds of Fur
cooks up the idea to place three of her golden trinkets, a ring, a spinning wheel, and a reel, into the
three cakes she is told to make for the king, and by this action she catches the attention of the king.
The princess, referred to as Donkeyskin, however, is clearly the definition of a damsel in distress. Not
only does Donkeyskin run for help to her

Climate Change And The Ice Age
Climate change. It is a continuously growing issue today. However, it is not a new phenomenon. In
fact, climate change has been occurring for tens of thousands of years. It began around twenty
thousand years ago when the Earth was in the Ice Age, an era when the planet was entirely frozen.
When the Ice Age ended, climate change was underway and human lifestyle began to experience great
transformations. These alterations have allowed humans to evolve from hunters and gatherers into a
more diversified society, one where they thrived more than ever before. Due to climate change, human
beings migrated to the Americas and developed technologies, languages, and agricultural methods to
organize their societies from 14,000 BCE to 1400 CE. During the Ice Age, humans were mostly
present in Africa, Asia, and Europe only. However, global migration became a more convenient
journey because of climate change. For instance, the melting of ice made it possible for humans to
migrate over a land bridge, which is covered by the Bering Strait today, from Asia to North America
about twenty thousand years ago. From the opposite side of the Old World, the Norse, more
commonly known as the Vikings, were able to sail from Europe to North America in the eleventh
century and colonize the islands of Greenland and Newfoundland Such journeys, as with nearly every
migration taking place at the time, were all possible because of expeditiously increasing temperatures.

Societal Identity In Ender s Game
What defines a person s self? Maybe it s something they decide about themselves, or maybe
something quantifiable. In either case, everyone has some sort of Identity. Throughout the novel Ender
s Game, Ender, unsurprisingly the main character, is always questioning who he is both to the rest of
the world and to himself. This soul searching is a great catalyst for the plot to thicken. His identity
crisis can be broken between three categories, societal identity, interpersonal identity and personal
identity. Ender s Identity is Ender s problems with societal identity are apparent even within the first
chapter, when he is called a third (Card 2). This term is a derogatory one which refers to someone
being born past the two child limit imposed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His main crisis of identity has to be that of ending up like his seemingly mentally disturbed and
violent older brother, Peter. When his monitor is taken off of him, he was attacked by a group of
bullies. He subsequently defeated them, but did so in such a brutal way that he couldn t help but feel
guilty of unnecessary violence. This is shown in the quote Ender leaned his head against the wall of
the corridor and cried until the bus came. I am just like Peter. Take my monitor away, and I am just
like Peter. (Card 6). He also shows characteristics of Peter when he is first put on the space station
with other recruits. When he is being harassed by a kid behind him, Ender anticipates the next blow
and grabs the kid s arm, but he ends up breaking it (Card 26). He questions whether he broke the arm
because he wasn t used to null gravity, or because he was angry and couldn t control his outburst. He
displays this quality again later in the book too. When Ender is tested through a random computer
generated simulation test, he gets upset after none of his solutions are working and turns to violence.
This has a deep psychological effect on Ender because Peter is explicitly shown to be who he hates, so
for him to become Peter is to become everything he s avoided trying to become. The struggle between
identities is troubling to say the least, and truly defines his character. Luckily, this feeling of becoming
peter is

Newsboys In The 1800 s
Despite the major setback of being part of the youth population in the late 1800 s, the Newsboys
fought the authorities for the sole purpose of understanding what they deserved, as well as any child
within the labor force. On July 20th, 1899, the start of one of the most powerful strikes in history
began. By protesting and striking against two of the largest newspaper companies in New York at the
time, the Newsies proved they weren t budging in their stance. Through holding their ground and
unmasking their will and determination, the companies gave into their requests and even left a
withstanding impact on the changing child labor laws.
The road to fair and equal child labor laws was definitely not an easy one, nor was it a quick one.
Throughout the 1800 s, it was normal to see school aged children working 50 70 hour weeks, leaving

Families were not always fortunate enough to have a steady income, thus sending off their boys to
contribute in anyway that was possible. For the Newsboys, most of them didn t even have a family or
a home to support; the drive to produce an income was solely based on supporting themselves.
Working from dawn to dusk, the boys would be the first in line to purchase a stack of 100 newspapers
for 50 cents, hoping to sell them all in order to gain some sort of a profit. Out of fear of not being able
to make enough that day, some Newsboy would exaggerate the headlines in order to bring in more
potential customers. Clearly the boys were willing to do anything to gain a little bit of money.
Sometimes this meant cheating their customers into feeling sympathetic for them, or taking more
money than the papers were worth. When the Spanish American war began, Pulitzer and Hearst knew
that more newspapers would be sold due to citizens wanting to read all about the latest news and
updates of the war.The men were often accused of participating in yellow journalism, which was

Similarities Between Bordeaux And Burgundy From The Same...
Introduction This paper will zero in on compare and contrast two different regions which are
Bordeaux and Burgundy in the same field: location, Climate and Terroir, and Grapes. Discuss the early
history of the development of each region, including the specific examples. Then review the location,
Climate and Terroir, and Grapes that rank the wines as among the best in the world. To conclude, look
into the future of each region to analyze prospects for continued success.
The history of Bordeaux Wine The history of the Bordeaux wine region dates back to the ancient
Romans who were the first people to cultivate, plant vineyards and produce Bordeaux wine. The
Romans took over the area in about 60 BC, and it was starting to earn fame for its wines as far back as
in 1152 when Henry of England wed Eleanor of Aquitaine, who controlled the region. The Bordeaux
appellation was perfect for cultivating grapes for wine. It offered the unique combination of the right
soil for growing grapes used in the production of wine coupled with easy access to the Garonne river,
which was needed to help ship the wines. Because after a series of attacks on the city in 1206, greater
freedom was granted, so it lead to the 12th century became the start of Bordeaux s golden age. Over
the centuries winemakers of the region have mastered both the art of blending and have learnt to work
with Bordeaux s unique climate and terrain to produce a wide diversity of reds, whites and roses all

Planaria Regeneration Lab Report

Dr. Jones Held
This article studies the ability of regeneration possessed by the planaria. Morgan (1898) observes in
different methods how the planaria are cut into smaller pieces, and then he observes the pieces to see
if the planaria will regenerate. When the planaria are cut near the head, the pieces do not appear to
regenerate, and the pieces cut too small also do not possess the ability to regenerate (Morgan, 1898).
Pieces cut from the middle and the end piece of the planaria, however, have shown results of
respawning from within the old tissue. When the author tried to fuse two sampled pieces together, he
observed that the pieces formed a union (Morgan, 1898). However, the fusion did not last long, and
the pieces died long after fusing together (Morgan, 1898). It is likely that the samples were not able to
complete the regeneration after the union emerged. I will be able to use this report for my lab report as

How Bodybuilding Has Changed Over Time
Bodybuilding is a form of sport that aims to make the body to be in a great physical condition and also
enhance health. The sport makes both the body and the mind fit and thus, eliminate common health
conditions associated with living sedentary lifestyles. Bodybuilding entails extreme body workout and
training as well as healthy eating to attain the desired physique (Elledge 33). It is believed to decrease
risk factors associated with the development of coronary heart diseases. Through taking part in aerobic
exercises and weight training, people have higher chances of lessening and managing high blood
pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity. The process also makes the body muscles strong and flexible
(Cross 41). Bodybuilding has come of ages and has evolved intensively. Its history dates back to late
1800s but the dynamics and objectives of the sport have changed over time. The focus is to analyze
bodybuilding sport of the ancient times and comparing it to the nature of the sport today in terms of
priorities and objectives.
Bodybuilding dates back to the 19th century specifically 1890s when weight training commenced in
the world. The practice took place in Greece and Egypt where people lifted stones purposely to have
huge muscles and physique bodies. However, as an entertaining sport, bodybuilding developed in ...

Research Paper On The Nicene Creed
Religion 11 In Class Essay
When the Nicene Creed was created and finalized in 381 A.D., there were many heresies under the
umbrella of Christianity. The Nicene Creed seeked to address these heresies and remove them from
mainstream worship. One of the many heresies in this time was Arianism.
Arianism was a form of Christianity that believed that Christ was made by the Father, therefor not
coeternal with the Father and not consubstantial either. Arianism was popular among the Ostrogoth s
and Visigoths, as well as the ruling elite of many other German tribes in the Late Roman, Early Dark
Ages period. Arianism s popularity died out by 700 A.D., due to it being deemed heretical and being
contradicted by things such as the Nicene Creed.

The system did not protect against suicide bombing or hijacking. The prescreening system has since
been expanded to protect against these threats by triggering a secondary screening of passengers and

improvement since the 1970s; therefore, the technology was very limited in its capabilities. One goal
of the TSA was and still is to correct the vulnerabilities of screening technology. Eventually, Whole

The Pros And Cons Of Sex Work
What is sex work? An official definition does not exist, however American Jewish World Service
refers to sex work as the act of providing sexual services in exchange for money, goods, or favors.
There are many different forms of sex work, some are legal and some are illegal. Some are legal in
certain geographic locations, but illegal in others. In this industry, certain labor is more stigmatized
than others. Criminalized sex work, such as prostitution, is very stigmatized. Exotic dancing does not
hold quite the same stigma because it is legal in the United States.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics as of September 2016, there are 400,000 strippers
employed by US strip clubs. Despite the significant amount of woman who work in this industry, there
is a stigma being carried around that is potentially deadly. It has been proven there is a link between
anti sex work rhetoric and an increase of violence against sex workers. (Penfold, Hunter, Campbell,
Barham 2010). A systematic review of the link between sex work and violence determined that 45
75% of sex workers chance experiencing sexual violence at some point in their careers. (Deering et
al., 2014). According to data from Medscape, one in five police reports of sexual assault from an
urban emergency room were filed by sex workers. These women were generally younger, poorer, and
suffered a greater number of injuries than other victims. (Koster 2015). The impact of this rhetoric is

Literary Analyzes Of Young Goodman Brown
Literary analyzes of Young Goodman Brown Young goodman brown by Nathaniel Hawthorne is a
story about a normal man that ventures into the forest to meet an old man who attempts to tempt him
into going deeper into the woods to worship the devil. After the old man convinces him that everyone
that he loves and respects is going to the devil s ceremony he gives in. In Young Goodman Brown,
Hawthorne effectively uses the personality and psychology of the Characters along with symbolism to

people that were supposedly more spiritually mature than Goodman Brown. He relied on their faith to

marks on the phrase Design Thinking before entering it on the search engines. The purpose of this is
to ensure I discover appropriate information. I have selected the book Design Studies by Catherine
Stones published in 2010, The Principles Purpose of Interactive Design published by Jamie Steane in
2014, as well as, the book Wicked Problems in Design Thinking by Richard Buchanan, 1992. The
reason I have carefully chosen these books is due to the reviews, their informative nature and there are
different range of published dates. Moreover, Tim Brown discussed Harvard Business Review in 2008
about Design Thinking, as well as, Jon Kolko wrote an article about 20 Design Thinking Comes Of
Age and Phil Brown recently discussed Why Design Thinking Conquered The World, research as well
as, Steve Lennon discussed about Design Thinking. The text, which is less relevant is the Wicked
Problems In Design Thinking as it is quite an old text book. Overall, all these books and sources give
applicable information. Furthermore, I discovered how visual research designers, sketchbooks and
blogs are sources of inspiration for continual development of ideas. The fact that design students are

Summary Of Catch 22 By Joseph Heller
David Payne
9/10/15
Mrs. Baker
AP English 4
Aggressors and Victims in Catch 22 Catch 22 by Joseph Heller is an obvious satire about modern day
ethics in business, medicine, and the military and the incompetence, pettiness, and corruption within
the bureaucratic ranks of the military. Each of its character s represent something special and they are
either aggressors or victims of the aggressors. The aggressors in the novel are the ones who bully or
manipulate selfishly and heartless. They have zero compassion for human life and answer only to
those with the money and the power. The victims are the ones that are the target of such bullying and
manipulation by the aggressors. The aggressors in the novel are Milo Minderbinder, ex P.F.C.
Wintergreen, Colonel Cathcart, General Dreedle, and Captain Black. The victims in Catch 22 are
Yossarian, Doc Daneeka, Nately, the Chaplain, and Major Major. Milo Minderbinder, the first
aggressor, is satire for modern business and all that is wrong with it. As a mess officer he runs a
lucrative enterprise syndicate and his only real care is profit. He will go to great lengths to make a
profit and he has no allegiance or loyalty to a country, person, or principle unless it pays him. He cares
about no one other than the money and therefore has no real concern for anyone else. Even though he
says that everyone has a share in the profits of the syndicate, this is not really true, he just says it to
make more money for himself with their help.

Irgages And Disadvantages Of Alternative Dispute Resolution
1) Alternative Dispute resolution or ADR refers to any sort of action that is utilize instead of a court of
action. The following are advantages to alternative dispute resolution.
One of this advantages is that it allows both parties to obtain some sort of gain because in a court of
action only party would be the beneficiary. Another benefit is that the process would not be as
bureaucratic as it would be on court of action where representatives of the company would also focus
on the case and not in the activities of the company. ADR also provides the ability for the company to
not get negative attention as matters can be keep private. Lawyer and administrative cost would be
greatly reduce because not many lawyers would be need it for negotiations. Furthermore, Alternative
Dispute resolution are often use by companies operating in international markets.
2) Negotiation, refers to the process of having the two sides come to an agreement without the help of
an externality. This could be beneficial to both parties because they can come to an agreement of their
own terms and both side win. Mediation is when a neutral authority brings both sides to the table to
help solve the dispute. Benefits to doing this process, is that the mediator can provide alternatives to
how to solve the dispute, although results are nonbinding. Arbitration is when a third party decides the
outcome of a dispute. For the winning party is an advantage because the decision in not appealable, it

Ruth s Role In The Bible
The word Torah can be a difficult word to understand because in various contexts it can refer to
different things. As discussed in Revealing World Religions, the basic concept of the Torah is referring
to the Five Books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. This is where
things are complex because the word Torah can also be used to refer to the entire Jewish bible, or
Tanakh which is another name for the Hebrew Bible. In Jewish tradition, the Talmud is a collection
writings containing civil and religious Jewish laws and traditions. As clearly illustrated by The Talmud
documentary, the traditional rabbinical approach to the Bible is quite different from the one that I
practice directly and ones I am aware of indirectly.

American Immigration In The Late 1800s
From the time when the European crisis started, the migration to the Americas has increased. Among
all the countries in the American continent, United States is the one that has received more immigrants
since the sixteenth century until the mid twentieth century. Since then, the most of immigrants are
Latin especially from Mexico. In 2013, around 41.3 million immigrants lived in the United States.
They represent 13 % of the total 316 million U.S. residents. If added the U.S. born children of
immigrants they increase to around 80 million people (Migration Information Source). Thus, it is how

Analysis Of The Movie Arabian Nights
Pier Paolo Pasolini s 1974 film, Arabian Nights, uses enframing in order to produce a rich dialogue
around a particular theme seen in The Arabian Nights stories. His film uses two kinds of enframing
devices, parallel stories and dictated stories. Parallel stories are instances where the camera moves
between two different characters and their stories. Dictated stories are instances where the characters
themselves read or relate a story. Both of these enframing methods work to draw comparisons
between the main story of Nur Ed Din and the various enframed tales. The parallel stories work off
one another to establish a foil between Nur Ed Din s sexual exploits and Zumurred s sexual danger.
The scene of interest is right after Zumurred has become king, the thief who kidnapped her comes to
town and is crucified (Arabian Nights 00:35:44 00:37:42). The thief represents Nur Ed Din s failure in
the relationship because the thief is the danger Nur Ed Din created when he did not listen to Zumurred
resulting in her kidnapping. Having the following scene be Nur Ed Din s experience of being abducted
by and fooling around with several women, creates a foil between Zumurred s and Nur Ed Din s
experiences (Arabian Nights 00:37:43 00:40:17). The comparison also reminds the audience that Nur
Ed Din is getting distracted and failing to fix the relationship he ruined. This foil is further enforced as
the scene moves back to Zumurred where she executes the man who attempted to rape her. The

escape this oppression was through education. The only education at this time allowed for African

When Tennessee State University originally founded its goal and mission was to teach agricultural and
industrial trade to African Americans. As before stated the reason for this was due to any other form of
education that did not keep African Americans as the working class was not accepted in the Jim Crow
south. The programs that the University has available reflected this mindset during the time. The
programs that promoted trade that the University had were agricultural, industrial, home economics
and engineering. As aforementioned these programs were meant for the prevention of the African
American community from rising above poverty. This University was also seen as very difficult to
teach at according to W.E.B. Du Bois letter to his future wife, ...you picked a very difficult place to

to teach at might be due to the area s racism or due to having to teach trade skills to the students which
Du Bois was very against advocating more of a traditional style of education over trade education. As
time went on the University did change its original goals. Tennessee State University has changed
their goals over the years of being active. Their original goal was to provide an industrial and

Achieving The Same Mission At The Kimberly Clark Andean...
Originally set up as a top down environment, the Kimberly Clark Andean Region struggled with
getting everyone within the organization focused on achieving the same mission. Wanting to expand
their reach and market share, Sergio Nacach realized that he needed to find a way to connect the
employees to the company. Prior to his arrival, the company philosophy was that, the solution was
always to come from better products and better advertising... Decisions were top down and the senior
positions had all the power (Clark, 3). Having management hold all the power, allowed the employees
to believe there impact didn t matter. As Nacach became more involved within the organization, the
company began to move their focus away from a strictly top down model into one where individuals
were more involved in the decisions that they often times knew more about than the top level
management. Instead of only having the leaders of the organization be the big individuals in the
company, KC established that any person in charge of even or or three people was a leader....
developed a plan to motivate those who were moving the wheels of the organization (Clark, 10).
While not at the level of being completely focused on People s Proposition, the steps that Kimberly
Clark is taking is pushing the company in that direction. Kimberly Clark recognized that what is best
for their company success is giving their employees an opportunity to become more invested in the

Symbolism In The Masque Of The Red Death
The Secrets of Stories Where there is fright and fear, there is confusion and consequences. In The
Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe, a pestilence, Red Death, is roaming free. Prince
Prospero and the other nobles decided to block out the disease by staying in the prince s palace and
have a masquerade ball. No one is allowed in or out, but everyone is struck with terror knowing that
death is coming sometime. The short story was crafted with care, so the literary elements contribute to
the picture created at the end. Irony and symbolism leave the largest footprint on Poe s literature,
especially The Masque of the Red Death. When the components of symbolism and irony bond
together, fiction becomes reality by conveying the message that the amount of money and protection
are false impressions when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Like after several months of staying in the palace, Poe mentions ...the brazen lungs of the clock a
sound which was clear and loud...but of so peculiar a note and emphasis that at each lapse of an hour,
the musicians...were constrained to pause... (4). In this quote, the clock is a meaningful object and
represents the abstract idea of time the nobles have left before their last breath. The pause is what
indicates the fear and significance; this illustrates they know their money and the walls enclosing them
are not enough to avoid the spreading sickness. Symbolism is also another route writers take when
trying to express personal thoughts or opinions towards the story, ideas presented, or the moral as
well. Poe seems to have dark approaches to many of his stories, which displays a powerful dislike
towards the end of life. The puzzle pieces fit together due to the fact that Edgar Allan Poe dealt with
pain, suffrage, and many losses during his lifetime. For example, the Red Death, the disease, is a
representation of tuberculosis.

A Study On Diabetes Mellitus
Part A 1. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (previously described as non insulin dependent diabetes) is a
condition due to hyperglycemia that accompanies a relative rather than an absolute insulin deficiency.
It appears as a consequence of the alteration (genetically inherited or acquired) of insulin secretion,
sometimes associated with peripheral insulin resistance.
Impaired ability to absorb certain macronutrients such as carbohydrates, lipids and proteins can lead to
a large spectrum of chronic complications that involve more or less all tissues of the human body.
Globally, an estimated 422 million adults are living with diabetes mellitus, according to the latest 2016
data from the World Health Organization. Diabetes Mellitus affects an estimated 29.1 million people
in the United States and is the 7th leading cause of death.
T2DM includes a heterogeneous group of diseases that associate in different degrees two major
metabolic defects: beta cell insulin secretion defect and insulin resistance of the peripheral tissues.
Obesity and insulin resistance are characteristic for the majority (80 90%) of T2DM cases (Obese
T2DM). The sine qua non condition for the progression from the preclinical phases (prediabetes) to
the overt hyperglycemia stages is represented by the presence of the insulin secretion beta cell defect.
A lack of compensation for insulin resistance will lead to evolution towards T2DM. The first sign of

How Liesel’s Actions Place Her and Others in Dangerous...
Reluctance or stubbornness in ending impulsive actions can have consequences. In the Book Thief by
Markus Zusak, Liesel Meminger s inability to halt her dangerous habits put her and others lives in
dangerous situations. Three main examples of Liesel s dangerous activities are when she steals books,
when she demonstrates kindness at improper times, and when she disrespects others for her own
selfish reasons. In all these examples, there is always one moment where Liesel places her or others in
harm s way and narrowly escapes punishment. Every time Liesel steals books from people, she
consistently places the lives of others at risk. An example of this is when Liesel is worried about Max
dying and wants to steal a book and read it to him ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some people perceive kindness in different ways as what they might think seems nice, could be
harmful to others. When Liesel tries to communicate with Max, she does not pause to think that such
an action would put her and Max in danger. On page 513, the book narrates He cried as the soldiers
came and a small collection...Standing, he was whipped . It was Max who was the one whipped by the
soldiers because they saw Liesel hugging and talking to him. Max s life was placed in danger because
Liesel thought she was being kind by talking to him. It is understandable that she wanted to
communicate with Max after a long time of not seeing him, but the manner in which she conveyed her
emotions to him was too obvious to the soldiers watching. Had Rudy not been quick on his feet to go
and help her, she would ve been punished more for speaking with Max. In addition to the immediate
damage done, other people who witnessed the situation would think that Liesel s family was
sympathetic to Jews, something not considered good at that time. The long term consequences of
Liesel s stubbornness to speak with Max set an even deeper impression to when Hans gave the bread
to the Jews and therefore puts her and her family in more danger. This is another example of Liesel s
stubbornness, or perceived kindness, which place her and others lives in danger. Lastly, there are many

addition, there are 68,000 existing codes in the ICD 10, as opposed to the 13,000 in ICD 9. Therefore,
the codes have been greatly expanded and this expansion allows a significant increase in the
specificity of the reporting in the ICD 10, allowing more information to be conveyed in a code. For
instance if you had a burn on your right arm in did not specify which arm had the burn in the old ICD

ICD needed to reflect those change. There have been many new diseases discovered, new type of

Symbols In Lord Of The Flies
Many people seamlessly pass by objects not thinking much of them; in stories they re just as easily
overlooked but can hold great meanings and tell stories on their own. Symbolism in stories is

Essay on Shakespeare’s Sonnet 73
Interpretation of Shakespeare s Sonnet 73
Sonnet 73 is a meditation on mortality, and yet it can be interpreted in a number of ways. The first
such interpretation is that the author of the poem is speaking to someone else about his own death that
will inevitably come in the future. This interpretation has the poem focused on the author, and his
focus and concern over himself. This makes him seem very selfish, because we are all going to die
sooner or later, and it does not do any good to dwell on or complain about it. The only use that this
interpretation really has is to evoke pity in the author, or the speaker of the Sonnet.
That is why it was this interpretation of Sonnet 73 that was used in a 1996 production of ... Show more

In Shakespeare case, with all the talk about him and young men, he could be writing about any one of
the Earls that he was involved with.
Another interpretation of Sonnet #73 is that instead of the Sonnet focusing on death, the theme of the
Sonnet is the passing of youth. The Sonnet also twists in its view at the couplet, it goes from being
about the speaker s life to the addressee s life. This interpretation is from a note in the June 1948
Explicator. In the article R.M. Lumiansky argues that the young person to whom the poem is
addressed must inevitably grow old and experience those things which the poet says, in the three
quatrains, he is experiencing in his old age. So the focus is on the death of youth, and in the Sonnet,
using the metaphor of the changing of seasons very adeptly, attributes this characteristic to the
speaker, but more poignantly to the person being addressed being as how they are not yet in the fall of
their life. In an article by John S. Prince, he says that the key to understanding the Sonnet lies in the
interpretation of that in the final line of the Sonnet. The problem with the common interpretation of
the Sonnet, which insists on the consistency of the speaker s mortality as the topic, is the grammar of
this final clause contradicts it. Why, if the speaker

The Industrial Revolution And The Evolution Of The...
Katie Rose Knoblock Professor Taylor AMH 2010 O1M 6 November 2017 Evolution of the Industrial
Revolution Many factories did this by targeting women and children as they could be paid less than
men with no repercussions. The workers that were hired to these positions, especially women, were
subject to some very harsh work conditions. They were subject to terrible work environments
including buildings called sweatshops, which were poorly lit and ventilated for maximum
productivity. They were forced to work in dangerous conditions where a person could easily be
maimed or even killed if they mishandled the equipment they used for their work. It was not unheard
of for the workers to be expected to work as much as 16 hours a day under threats of being fired or
even physically abused if they did not complete their work with great speed. Even after all their effort
in the workplace, it was not uncommon for a person to be paid as little as a single dollar for their day s
efforts. These poor working conditions gave rise to labor unions in the 19th century to insure proper
working conditions for all laborers. The labor unions aided in workplace safety and fairness by using a
large group of people to sway greedy business owners in the right direction. The major advancement
in the factory system occurred in the early 20th century with what was called the assembly line. The

unchangeable. In a hotel, during the day, people are attracted by the interior

The information that is transmitted over the internet is a highly sensitive and critical information which needs to be protected from adversaries, hackers, and eavesdroppers etc. who bypass the existing security and perform dangerous actions. Cryptography is the art and science of keeping the data transfer secure from adversaries, hackers and eavesdroppers. Cryptography and its algorithm forms one of the essential components to the security mechanisms in order to safeguard the data transmissions and data storage. Without the use of cryptography the emails and information can be intercepted without any authorized access. After researching academic papers related to cryptography I understand the basic working of DES algorithm and the cracking of the DES algorithm by brute force technology. I would like to explore the cryptographic algorithms, the flaws associated with the algorithm. In this paper, I will discuss about the DES algorithm and deficiency with the DES algorithm. I will discuss the existing problem with double DES algorithm and the basics about the Triple DES and the problem with respect to the Triple DES. A brief overview of AES has been provided. All-Kinds-Of-Fur Fashion, Incest, and Fur, in All Kinds of Fur and Donkeyskin Donkeyskin, by Charles Perrault, and All Kinds of Fur by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, are both stories about a princess who runs away from her kingdom because of the king s desire to marry her, despite the fact that the marriage would be incestuous. In Donkeyskin, the king is overtly powerful and wealthy, and much of his wealth is obtained by his Master Donkey, who excretes gold. In both tales it is necessary for the princess to find some means of discouraging her father s sinful proposal, of which she asks for three magnificent and impossible dresses to be made and for the skin of an animal or multiple animals. The princesses having, or not having, outside assistance in their journeys makes their character act and think differently. The princess in Donkeyskin, though being the optimal choice of a bride for the king for being wise and accomplished, is not as overtly clever and wise as the princess in All Kinds of Fur. The princess, referred to as All Kinds of Fur, is solely responsible for her choices and actions, coming only from her own savvy brain. Horrified by her father s incestuous demands, All Fur seeks her own counsel. (Marshall 409). Firstly she contrives the seemingly impossible tasks that she sets upon her father, including having him obtain one dress golden as the sun, one as silvery as the moon, and one as bright as the stars (Grimm, All Kinds of Fur ) and a mantle of a thousand different kinds of fur and hair (Grimm, All Kinds of Fur ). Secondly, All Kinds of Fur makes, and acts upon, the decision to run away, disguised by her mantle of furs, before having to marry her father. Thirdly, All Kinds of Fur cooks up the idea to place three of her golden trinkets, a ring, a spinning wheel, and a reel, into the three cakes she is told to make for the king, and by this action she catches the attention of the king. The princess, referred to as Donkeyskin, however, is clearly the definition of a damsel in distress. Not only does Donkeyskin run for help to her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Climate Change And The Ice Age Climate change. It is a continuously growing issue today. However, it is not a new phenomenon. In fact, climate change has been occurring for tens of thousands of years. It began around twenty thousand years ago when the Earth was in the Ice Age, an era when the planet was entirely frozen. When the Ice Age ended, climate change was underway and human lifestyle began to experience great transformations. These alterations have allowed humans to evolve from hunters and gatherers into a more diversified society, one where they thrived more than ever before. Due to climate change, human beings migrated to the Americas and developed technologies, languages, and agricultural methods to organize their societies from 14,000 BCE to 1400 CE. During the Ice Age, humans were mostly present in Africa, Asia, and Europe only. However, global migration became a more convenient journey because of climate change. For instance, the melting of ice made it possible for humans to migrate over a land bridge, which is covered by the Bering Strait today, from Asia to North America about twenty thousand years ago. From the opposite side of the Old World, the Norse, more commonly known as the Vikings, were able to sail from Europe to North America in the eleventh century and colonize the islands of Greenland and Newfoundland Such journeys, as with nearly every migration taking place at the time, were all possible because of expeditiously increasing temperatures. • 8. Societal Identity In Ender s Game What defines a person s self? Maybe it s something they decide about themselves, or maybe something quantifiable. In either case, everyone has some sort of Identity. Throughout the novel Ender s Game, Ender, unsurprisingly the main character, is always questioning who he is both to the rest of the world and to himself. This soul searching is a great catalyst for the plot to thicken. His identity crisis can be broken between three categories, societal identity, interpersonal identity and personal identity. His main crisis of identity has to be that of ending up like his seemingly mentally disturbed and violent older brother, Peter. When his monitor is taken off of him, he was attacked by a group of bullies. He subsequently defeated them, but did so in such a brutal way that he couldn t help but feel guilty of unnecessary violence. This is shown in the quote Ender leaned his head against the wall of the corridor and cried until the bus came. I am just like Peter. Take my monitor away, and I am just like Peter. (Card 6). He also shows characteristics of Peter when he is first put on the space station with other recruits. When he is being harassed by a kid behind him, Ender anticipates the next blow and grabs the kid s arm, but he ends up breaking it (Card 26). He questions whether he broke the arm because he wasn t used to null gravity, or because he was angry and couldn t control his outburst. He displays this quality again later in the book too. When Ender is tested through a random computer generated simulation test, he gets upset after none of his solutions are working and turns to violence. This has a deep psychological effect on Ender because Peter is explicitly shown to be who he hates, so for him to become Peter is to become everything he s avoided trying to become. The struggle between identities is troubling to say the least, and truly defines his character. Luckily, this feeling of becoming peter is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To conclude, look into the future of each region to analyze prospects for continued success. The history of Bordeaux Wine The history of the Bordeaux wine region dates back to the ancient Romans who were the first people to cultivate, plant vineyards and produce Bordeaux wine. The Romans took over the area in about 60 BC, and it was starting to earn fame for its wines as far back as in 1152 when Henry of England wed Eleanor of Aquitaine, who controlled the region. The Bordeaux appellation was perfect for cultivating grapes for wine. It offered the unique combination of the right soil for growing grapes used in the production of wine coupled with easy access to the Garonne river, which was needed to help ship the wines. When the planaria are cut near the head, the pieces do not appear to regenerate, and the pieces cut too small also do not possess the ability to regenerate (Morgan, 1898). • 27. Analysis Of The Movie Arabian Nights Pier Paolo Pasolini s 1974 film, Arabian Nights, uses enframing in order to produce a rich dialogue around a particular theme seen in The Arabian Nights stories. His film uses two kinds of enframing devices, parallel stories and dictated stories. Parallel stories are instances where the camera moves between two different characters and their stories. Dictated stories are instances where the characters themselves read or relate a story. Both of these enframing methods work to draw comparisons between the main story of Nur Ed Din and the various enframed tales. The parallel stories work off one another to establish a foil between Nur Ed Din s sexual exploits and Zumurred s sexual danger. The scene of interest is right after Zumurred has become king, the thief who kidnapped her comes to town and is crucified (Arabian Nights 00:35:44 00:37:42). The thief represents Nur Ed Din s failure in the relationship because the thief is the danger Nur Ed Din created when he did not listen to Zumurred resulting in her kidnapping. Having the following scene be Nur Ed Din s experience of being abducted by and fooling around with several women, creates a foil between Zumurred s and Nur Ed Din s experiences (Arabian Nights 00:37:43 00:40:17). The comparison also reminds the audience that Nur Ed Din is getting distracted and failing to fix the relationship he ruined. This foil is further enforced as the scene moves back to Zumurred where she executes the man who attempted to rape her. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

African Americans were harassed at the polls, threatened, forced to pay poll tax, forced to do literacy tests and even killed for voting. (americanhistory.si.edu). When Tennessee State University originally founded its goal and mission was to teach agricultural and industrial trade to African Americans. As before stated the reason for this was due to any other form of education that did not keep African Americans as the working class was not accepted in the Jim Crow south. The programs that the University has available reflected this mindset during the time. The programs that promoted trade that the University had were agricultural, industrial, home economics and engineering. Originally set up as a top down environment, the Kimberly Clark Andean Region struggled with getting everyone within the organization focused on achieving the same mission. Wanting to expand their reach and market share, Sergio Nacach realized that he needed to find a way to connect the employees to the company. Prior to his arrival, the company philosophy was that, the solution was always to come from better products and better advertising... Decisions were top down and the senior positions had all the power (Clark, 3). Having management hold all the power, allowed the employees to believe there impact didn t matter. As Nacach became more involved within the organization, the company began to move their focus away from a strictly top down model into one where individuals were more involved in the decisions that they often times knew more about than the top level management. Instead of only having the leaders of the organization be the big individuals in the company, KC established that any person in charge of even or or three people was a leader.... developed a plan to motivate those who were moving the wheels of the organization (Clark, 10). While not at the level of being completely focused on People s Proposition, the steps that Kimberly Clark is taking is pushing the company in that direction. • 31. Symbolism In The Masque Of The Red Death The Secrets of Stories Where there is fright and fear, there is confusion and consequences. In The Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe, a pestilence, Red Death, is roaming free. Prince Prospero and the other nobles decided to block out the disease by staying in the prince s palace and have a masquerade ball. No one is allowed in or out, but everyone is struck with terror knowing that death is coming sometime. The short story was crafted with care, so the literary elements contribute to the picture created at the end. Irony and symbolism leave the largest footprint on Poe s literature, especially The Masque of the Red Death. When the components of symbolism and irony bond together, fiction becomes reality by conveying the message that the amount of money and protection are false impressions when ... Like after several months of staying in the palace, Poe mentions ...the brazen lungs of the clock a sound which was clear and loud...but of so peculiar a note and emphasis that at each lapse of an hour, the musicians...were constrained to pause... (4). In this quote, the clock is a meaningful object and represents the abstract idea of time the nobles have left before their last breath. The pause is what indicates the fear and significance; this illustrates they know their money and the walls enclosing them are not enough to avoid the spreading sickness. Symbolism is also another route writers take when trying to express personal thoughts or opinions towards the story, ideas presented, or the moral as well. Poe seems to have dark approaches to many of his stories, which displays a powerful dislike towards the end of life. The puzzle pieces fit together due to the fact that Edgar Allan Poe dealt with pain, suffrage, and many losses during his lifetime. For example, the Red Death, the disease, is a representation of tuberculosis. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. A Study On Diabetes Mellitus Part A 1. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (previously described as non insulin dependent diabetes) is a condition due to hyperglycemia that accompanies a relative rather than an absolute insulin deficiency. It appears as a consequence of the alteration (genetically inherited or acquired) of insulin secretion, sometimes associated with peripheral insulin resistance. Impaired ability to absorb certain macronutrients such as carbohydrates, lipids and proteins can lead to a large spectrum of chronic complications that involve more or less all tissues of the human body. Globally, an estimated 422 million adults are living with diabetes mellitus, according to the latest 2016 data from the World Health Organization. Diabetes Mellitus affects an estimated 29.1 million people in the United States and is the 7th leading cause of death. T2DM includes a heterogeneous group of diseases that associate in different degrees two major metabolic defects: beta cell insulin secretion defect and insulin resistance of the peripheral tissues. Obesity and insulin resistance are characteristic for the majority (80 90%) of T2DM cases (Obese T2DM). The sine qua non condition for the progression from the preclinical phases (prediabetes) to the overt hyperglycemia stages is represented by the presence of the insulin secretion beta cell defect. A lack of compensation for insulin resistance will lead to evolution towards T2DM. The first sign of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Liesel Meminger s inability to halt her dangerous habits put her and others lives in dangerous situations. Three main examples of Liesel s dangerous activities are when she steals books, when she demonstrates kindness at improper times, and when she disrespects others for her own selfish reasons. In all these examples, there is always one moment where Liesel places her or others in harm s way and narrowly escapes punishment. It was Max who was the one whipped by the soldiers because they saw Liesel hugging and talking to him. Max s life was placed in danger because Liesel thought she was being kind by talking to him. It is understandable that she wanted to communicate with Max after a long time of not seeing him, but the manner in which she conveyed her emotions to him was too obvious to the soldiers watching. Had Rudy not been quick on his feet to go and help her, she would ve been punished more for speaking with Max. In addition to the immediate damage done, other people who witnessed the situation would think that Liesel s family was sympathetic to Jews, something not considered good at that time. The long term consequences of Liesel s stubbornness to speak with Max set an even deeper impression to when Hans gave the bread to the Jews and therefore puts her and her family in more danger. • 38. Essay on Shakespeare’s Sonnet 73 Interpretation of Shakespeare s Sonnet 73 Sonnet 73 is a meditation on mortality, and yet it can be interpreted in a number of ways. The first such interpretation is that the author of the poem is speaking to someone else about his own death that will inevitably come in the future. This interpretation has the poem focused on the author, and his focus and concern over himself. This makes him seem very selfish, because we are all going to die sooner or later, and it does not do any good to dwell on or complain about it. The only use that this interpretation really has is to evoke pity in the author, or the speaker of the Sonnet. In Shakespeare case, with all the talk about him and young men, he could be writing about any one of the Earls that he was involved with. Another interpretation of Sonnet #73 is that instead of the Sonnet focusing on death, the theme of the Sonnet is the passing of youth. The Sonnet also twists in its view at the couplet, it goes from being about the speaker s life to the addressee s life. This interpretation is from a note in the June 1948 Explicator. In the article R.M. Lumiansky argues that the young person to whom the poem is addressed must inevitably grow old and experience those things which the poet says, in the three quatrains, he is experiencing in his old age. So the focus is on the death of youth, and in the Sonnet, using the metaphor of the changing of seasons very adeptly, attributes this characteristic to the speaker, but more poignantly to the person being addressed being as how they are not yet in the fall of their life. In an article by John S. Prince, he says that the key to understanding the Sonnet lies in the interpretation of that in the final line of the Sonnet. The problem with the common interpretation of the Sonnet, which insists on the consistency of the speaker s mortality as the topic, is the grammar of this final clause contradicts it. Katie Rose Knoblock Professor Taylor AMH 2010 O1M 6 November 2017 Evolution of the Industrial Revolution Many factories did this by targeting women and children as they could be paid less than men with no repercussions. The workers that were hired to these positions, especially women, were subject to some very harsh work conditions. They were subject to terrible work environments including buildings called sweatshops, which were poorly lit and ventilated for maximum productivity. They were forced to work in dangerous conditions where a person could easily be maimed or even killed if they mishandled the equipment they used for their work. It was not unheard of for the workers to be expected to work as much as 16 hours a day under threats of being fired or even physically abused if they did not complete their work with great speed. Even after all their effort in the workplace, it was not uncommon for a person to be paid as little as a single dollar for their day s efforts. These poor working conditions gave rise to labor unions in the 19th century to insure proper working conditions for all laborers. The labor unions aided in workplace safety and fairness by using a large group of people to sway greedy business owners in the right direction.
