1.INTRODUCTION
Many places are becoming urbanized; so to save space many people live together in one building
like apartments or a duplex house. There can be lots of noises generated by activities such as
walking from adjacent buildings. The noise impact on people s quality of life goes beyond
annoyance. It may affect psychological aspect of health as well.
There are several ways to eliminate this problem; one is to reduce sound by increasing the distance
between the source and the receiver and the second is using noise barriers to reflect or absorb the
sound. To effectively reduce internal noise transferred from the adjacent buildings and maintain the
comfort of the resident, it is important to have adequate sound floor insulation. Sound insulation in
a building reduces the sound pressure with respect to sound sources and receivers.
In this report, I will discuss the installation of a sound floor insulation that reduces noise from
outside. Additionally, I examine effects and causes of the noise.
Most of information I used in this report was collected from the recent technical databases provided
by Kansas State University Libraries. I have also gathered relevant information in academic

Brown verses board of education started on December ninth 1952. The case was concluded on
May seventeenth 1954. Brown verses board of education is a very important, historical case. It is
a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court declared that all state laws establishing
separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional. Before the Brown
verses board of education case was concluded, black, and white children had to be taught in
separate schools. Supposedly, it was not moral for white, and black kids to be near each other.
Even outside of school there were separate water fountains, there were separate bathrooms, there

In this research project I conducted the water quality analysis of both the potable and
environmental water at various village sites, and in the New River Lagoon in Belize. The data
collected in this project contributed to the data collected over the past decade by previous
McMaster fellows and scholars. Moreover, we conveyed the results from this study to the
community partners in the villages San Carlos, Rancho Dolores, and with the Programme for
Belize the managing entity of Rio Bravo Conservation and Management Area ( RBCMA ) which
borders the New River Lagoon. In the project we tested for bacterial contaminants, nitratenitrogen,
phosphorous, dissolved oxygen, pH, free chlorine, and ammonia levels.
In this project we continue to analyze new samples and the baseline data for any trends in high or
low levels of chemicals, as well as to keep the Belizean community appraised of any hazards or
precautions they should be taking for their drinking water. By collaborating with our Belize
community partners, we are able to discuss possible solutions as to better techniques for cleaner
water or more efficient solutions to using clean safe drinking water.
Water is a necessity, but, when water becomes polluted with chemicals, both inorganic and
organic, it makes it difficult to use water for the health benefits and sanitation it is normally used
for. Good water quality is especially vital for Belize, as they are largely an agricultural country.

Tests, fourth edition (GMRT 4; 2000). Students also completed a questionnaire regarding their
study habits, music rating of the songs chosen for the experiment and if they preferred to study with

comprehension without music playing in the background. Those students that indicated they
preferred to study with music and rated they liked the music selection in the experiment, had a

cameras are small camcorders law enforcement officers wear with their uniform. Evidence given

When children trip and fall on the ground, they learn how to get up and avoid falling again. Similar
to this, people adjust to their life situations and learn from their previous mistakes. Frankenstein, by
Mary Shelley, exemplifies this attribute through Victor Frankenstein, who is an intelligent and
hardworking scientist. His curiosity and passion drives him to create life out of death, but he
becomes hubristic and winds up creating a monster. This creation results in Victor s great suffering
as it eliminates his family and friends. The monster makes its intentions clear and Victor is aware
of its supernatural powers. Likewise, Victor realizes that his excessive pridecaused all these
miserable outcomes. Despite this, Frankensteinstill maintains the same mentality, even after the
monster s warnings and the horrific events. Although Victor seems to have learned from the

parties have been harmed/hurt in one way or the other. This can due to the fact that, they are not
paying attention to each other needs effectively. Therefore, both Mr. Roberts and Terry Smith,
