This paper evaluates the performance of TCP SACK1 in WiMAX networks with a focus on factors like channel bandwidth, cyclic prefix, modulation coding schemes, frame duration, and two-way data transfer asymmetry. The study finds that higher channel bandwidth and a favorable downlink-uplink ratio enhance throughput and goodput, while also increasing packet drops. Conversely, effective modulation schemes and shorter frame durations improve data rates but may lead to higher packet losses under certain conditions.
