  • #5 Colleen Some kind of cool, vintage graphic/what does this have to do wiith P2P

  • #7 Design: Trying to show the evolution from the mixed tape to the fact that we now create and share playlists today Sue Although we have evolved from the mixed tape to home made CDs and now to digital playlists shared over services like Spotify or itunes, the essence is still the same – people sharing thoughts and feeling through music. And when it comes to P2P fundraising, the essence is still the same, raising money for the causes we care about, technology is empowering fundraisers to do so in new and exciting ways. So as we walk you through some of our current favorites, think about them as a jumping off point as you look at ways to evolve and enhance your own P2P fundraising programs

  • #20  We all remember the Macarena – even today (albeit mostly at weddings) when we hear that familiar tune one by one or two by two people start to rush the dancefloor to join the group effort. Everyone knows the steps and by the middle of the song you likely have the entire room dancing their way through the 8 steps… over and over and over…How does that relate to fundraising?
  • #21 Design: samples of viral fundraising challenge campaigns Well, we all remember that little thing called the Ice Bucket Challenge, that started with a small group of people challenging each other… and through the power of social media – became a worldwide phenomenon! Since then we have seen many similar campaigns, someone videos themselves doing something crazy, or different, and then challenges friends and family to do the same or buy themselves a “free pass” by making a donation to the host charity. You might have even participated in a few recent examples - There was the Lemon/lime challenge, 22 pushups, the statue challenge… to name a few. The good news is that no matter how big or how small your organization is, this type of viral fundraiser is easy to launch and can be a quick win!
  • #22 The DanOLamOlympics is a grown up take on “Play day” – with folks joining teams and competing in silly events like Giant Jenga, Ladder Golf and Slip and Slide Relay –  to raise awareness and money for Special Olympics Texas To Generate excitement and some additional revenue, leading up to their 4th Annual event, they launched their own Macarena or social challenge to give participants a fun way to earn extra points and funds for their team prior to the event Participants were asked to successfully complete a Minute-to-Win-It game and upload their video and then tag 2 friends (or more) to take up the challenge. Or if they didn’t want to participate they could buy their way out of the challenge and make a $50 donation. OUTCOMES 4700 people reached on Twitter $3673 raised, the most raised for this event so far $75.50 average donation size

  • #35 Bonus Tracks/Title Slide – we only have one bonus track idea so wonder if we just make this the last concept instead of its own section? Maybe skip this slide and the next and jump right into the cupcake program? Then end with the wrap up slide?

  • #39  Look for opportunities inside your organization Your DIY Program could be hosting your next big signature event! Capitalize on trends Both in the For Profit and Not for Profit arenas Don’t need to re-create the Wheel See where other organization are experiencing successes Don’t be a prisoner to your platform Charity Dynamics helps clients innovate within the chosen platform through CD Labs It’s ok to start small Consider pilot testing a new idea to demonstrate the opportunity before making a significant investment
