Editor's Notes

  • #2 Title: From Physical to Virtual: 3 Nonprofits Weigh In on Lessons Learned and How to Create Success Moving Forward   Description:    The switch from physical, in-person fundraising events to virtual ones came about swiftly this spring as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As nonprofits scrambled to support the unique needs of the people they serve, they also had to tackle tough decisions around whether to cancel events or pivot them to virtual—or find an altogether different path. Ready or not, they had to act fast. While the measurement of success of those actions may have varied given these unprecedented times, organizations were at least able to collect important data and feedback to apply to future events.   Join us for a webinar Tuesday, August 11, as we talk with three experts in the nonprofit arena about how they made the shift from in-person to virtual events. Our panelists—from the Alzheimer’s Association, Canadian Cancer Society and Boston Children’s Hospital —will also discuss the key lessons they learned during this transition, including out-of-the-box event strategies they’ve developed, and how they intend to use those to ensure success going forward.
  • #7 When did your organizations make the decision to adapt your P2P event strategies?
  • #14 Are you planning to return to in-person events, stay and build on your transition to virtual or a combination in 2021? Knowing what you know now, what will you do differently as you plan for the future? What is one piece of advice you would give to our audience as they consider their own event transitions and planning for 2021?
