We will show examples of their principles in action. The results can be astounding when put into daily use!

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

“DIY fundraising is a great way to harness the

Way back machine
According to the 2017 RWR 30 released in March, RWR events are down 8% since 2012, but this doesn’t really tell the entire picture of our industry.
This same report outlined nearly half of the largest programs grew in revenue. What differentiates these programs?
These programs have taken a more innovative approach to their programs and made strides to tightly marry their programs to the missions of their organizations.
Constant innovation. There is no silver bullet.
This is starting to show that folks are more loyal to causes than they are to organizations

As millennials increasingly replace boomers, these numbers will start to accelerate.
According to the millennial impact report, 64% of millennials fundraised for an event in the last 12 months.

You have to meet the high expectations of your constituents to or else they will look to another organization to fundraise for with a similar mission to yours.
Tipping point/so much competition and not only between nonprofits, with your neighbors too….

Projects to help a person in need – often a friend or family member -- are the most popular use of crowdfunding
Personal crowdfunding quickly connects those who need help directly with those who want to help.
Pew Research, The New Digital Economy, 2015
The 2017 Edelman Trust Barometer revealed TRUST in all four institutions -- business, government, NGOs, and media -- is down. A person like your next door neighbor is now just as credible a source of information as an academic expert, a CEO, a government official, a nonprofit.
We’ve had a movement moment has happened.
The recent elections sparked an all time high of passion around causes, which has made a considerable impact in terms of giving and volunteering. PMK Agency surveyed 1,000 Adults in the US who had donated to a charitable cause over the past 12 months - shortly after the inauguration and Women’s March. Of those surveyed, nearly one quarter reported planning to give more, sometimes as much as double their donations to multiple causes. Most notably, 71% of people under 34 were willing to encourage friends and family to donate to causes they care about as well.
