This document provides a lesson plan for teaching elementary level English students about jobs and professions. The plan includes two activities to reinforce vocabulary learning. In the first activity, students will complete clues with job words like firefighter, mechanic, and hairdresser. They will then make sentences using "I". The second activity has students match job descriptions to images and then reorder letters to form job words. The lesson aims to help students understand, speak, and write about different professions through a warm-up story, vocabulary practice, and information gap exercises.

Procedures
I am going to greet my students and make a lovely comment about what a pleasure it is
to share classes together.
“Hello everyone!!! how are you today? It is a pleasure to meet you.”
Today we are going to review everything we have seen so far, are you ready?
3. “Children, now we are going to play a game to remember the vocabulary a little and to
relax before starting the most serious part.”
The students, together with the teacher, are going to read the story "The super jobs",
this will help them get into the mood, here they must listen to the story and complete the
missing professions by following the clues.
First, we will talk about the unknown words, we will look for examples about them.
At the end the teacher will show them cards with the correct phrases, in this way we will
correct and speak the sentences.
4. “Excellent children!! "Now we are going to carry out two activities to conclude this topic."
The teacher will give them a photocopy with the work and will explain the instructions in
detail and answer questions or doubts that students may have.
Activity 1:
"Well children, you are going to read the clues on the board, and we are going to
complete them with the correct word. At the end they will choose a sentence and
replace the profession with the pronoun "I"
Students must find who is being described, then they will make a sentence.
FIREMAN- MECHANIC- HAIRDRESSER- POLICEMAN- CHEF- DOCTOR- TEACHER
– VET- SECRETARY
5. Activity 2:
“Very good guys!! You were working a lot” Now, we are going to match the description
with the correct image, and we will also order the words, let's get to work!!
Students must look for the image according to the description and then arrange the
letters to form the word.
6. To finish, we will talk about everything we learned, make on board a brainstorming and
the teacher will ask you, did you like everything you learned? What do you think or
imagine the next topic will be?
