Procedures
I am going to greet my students and make a lovely comment about what a pleasure it is
to share classes together.
“Hello, children! It’s a pleasure to meet you”.
“How were you this week? Do you remember what you are working on? Would you like
us to remember?”
“Today, we are going to review vocabulary about pronouns: Do you remember what we
use it for?”
Then the teacher will make a list of the subject pronouns
- I
- He
- She
- It
- They
- We
- You
Now we are going to remember the use of pronouns, for this we will replace the
subjects with a pronoun as shown in the example.
3. Very good!!! Continuing with this we are going to differentiate the subject pronouns
which we just worked with possessive adjective. For this we are going to write the
following box, comparing the use of each one with examples.
After having interpreted and learned the subjects’ pronouns and possessive adjectives,
now are going to continue working with the family's vocabulary, but this time we will
relate what we have learned using reading instructions and logic to complete the
following crossword puzzle.

Activity 1:
Very good guys!! After seeing a little vocabulary, we are going to work on a small text.
The students will be able to practice the rules learned, using their observation, and
attention skills.

We will search and classify the words that begin with capital letters, explaining the
corresponding rules.

5. To finish, they would have to make a multiple choice to assess if they understood the
text well.
6. Activity 2:
Here the students will practise reading and observing through a text.
This activity will be done in pairs, following the instructions below:
1. Read the letter and look for the unknown words.
2. Following the examples, mark the subject pronouns with red color and the
possessive adjectives with green.
3. Finally, they will extract the main information of each member of the family.
Example:
Name: Rafael
Age: 12
7. Finally, the teacher will write and explain the task, it will consist of writing a letter about
your family, taking the letter from the last activity as an example, and then it will be read
in the next class in front of your classmates.
