 “Today we are going to continue working on the places in our town, are you ready?”
 “Well, we are going to work on the maps that you brought as homework, and you are
going to tell me and your classmates what you drew”.
 Students will show the class their maps and tell us what they drew. Then we will work
orally on different sentences, for example: ...'s house is next to the supermarket and
then everyone will have to answer simple questions such as: where is the hospital?
 “Excellent children!! "Now we are going to play with a quiz contest, for this I want you to
pay close attention and listen to the clues for guessing places.”
 The students are going to participate in a "quiz contest", for this the teacher will place a
series of clues on the computer and they must guess what place it is. The objective is to
review the vocabulary and practice listening.

what place it refers to, then we will also indicate the image to which it refers.”!
 The teacher will give a photocopy to the students, it has two parts: one where there are
images of places and the other, we find simple sentences that describe places, they
must interpret the sentences and understand what place is being talked about and then
they must find the image that describes said place.
 New places: auto mechanic - parking lot - shoe store – butchery - gas station - car
dealership - fruit stand - vegetables shop - technician’s - ice cream parlor - real estate
agency - beauty parlor – drugstore
 The teacher will ask them the unknown words and we will make a list on the

Activity 2:
 “Very good guys!! You were working a lot. Now we are going to use the places on your
map again and we are going to make sentences like those learned in the previous
activity.”
Students use the places marked on their own map and following the sentences from the
previous activity as an example, they must create their own sentences.
For example: My sister and I study at the school.
 To finish, the students will create their own word search with the new words learned
today. They must use 10 words referring to places and prepositions.
