Senior Facilities Manager Jan 2012 – Dec 2014
Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, managing all aspects of inventory management/stock control
systems, training and mentoring. Daily reporting and analysis of stock and inventory movement.
• Arranged delivery of materials worldwide, including the deployment for the Ebola virus in Africa.
Having personnel on standby to action demands, collect and deliver stores to the airport within 15
hours of receiving the call.
• Migration of all stores to a new and improved Logistic IT system. The new system improved stock
taking, stock rotation and also included an automatic demand limit. This reduced man hours and
saved an estimated £1.000, 000 with the new system.
• Managed the safe storage of logistical material incorporating specialist equipment, ensuring all
policy was complied with. Attractive to Criminal and Terrorist Organisation stores were also held
on account also implemented a stock take plan which incorporated daily checks.
• Conducted and implemented global asset managerial procedures for the distribution of stores
and supplies worldwide, the culmination was recognized by the Logistic inspection team who
instigated best practice across the South West of England.
• Managed and controlled a storehouse with over 15000 item headings and a value in excess of
£56m, supplying first line support to over 580 personnel.
• Managed a logistical fleet of 150 different vehicle variants with a value in excess of £25 million,
including disposal and acquisition in line with Unit scales.
• Resolved any problems that could cause delays to project completion, this included a company
that had not completed the correct vetting process prior to working in secure areas. The process
takes two weeks to complete and the company were fined for not complying with the instructions
that were issued.

regular site safety checks, liaising with local health and safety authorities to comply with
legislation.

all vehicles were roadworthy and available to deploy as directed.
• Resolved any problems that could cause delays to project completion. Carpet fitters awarded a
contract for accommodation blocks, due to a holiday period the contractor had 3 weeks to
complete. The contractor failed to order enough carpet delaying the project by a week. This had
an effect on 32 personnel having to be moved to another accommodation block. The contractor
was fined accordingly.
