Regional Fleet Manager
In 12 months I had improved their carrier profile by 65% and had been placed from a Conditional rating
status to a Satisfactory rating status. I organized all fleet maintenance with our internal mechanics at the
Calgary office. After detecting I significant overage in the Edmonton office for fleet repairs and
maintenance at a local dealership I procured an adventitious agreement which reduced repairs by 24%,
resulting in a budget saving of approximately $35,000 annually and a parts decrease by 15%. Driver
training was out-sourced originally before I was promoted. Through personal education, through both the
company and additional course on personal time, I created and administered driver training. This resulted
in a successful training program that was tailored to the specific needs of the drivers in our industry and a
budget savings of $40,000 annually.
