1. To access the analytics on any given Mix, log in to your account at
mix.office.com and click “My Mixes”.

Office Mix delivers quality audio and video recordings right into your PowerPoint slides.
Mix allows for several types of recording. You can record: Audio & Video, Audio only, Video only and lastly, No audio or video- this is a great feature if you would like to record just animations, just inking or just blank time on the slide.
Regardless of how you choose to record, you can always add animations or inking.
Before you begin recording, here are a few keyboard shortcut keys that you may find useful: F9 to begin recording, Spacebar to advance to the next slide and number keys 1 – 9 quickly allow you to select an ink color while recording.

Office Mix allows you to easily capture quality screen recordings directly inside PowerPoint.
To begin make sure you’re in the PowerPoint Mix ribbon and select the ‘Screen Recording’ button here.
Once you have stopped recording you will now see your screen recording inside your PowerPoint slide. You can adjust the size and placement as needed.
Select that tab and now select the ‘Trim Video’ button.
Play the video in the dialog to determine where to move the sliders. Move the green slider to where you would like your video to begin. Adjust the red slider to where you would like your video to end. Select ‘OK’ when you are satisfied.

Setting your permissions to Private:
Will mean that only you can view your Mix and therefore all the analytics will contain data about your views.
Setting your permissions to Organization:
Means that if you logged in with your Office 365 account, you will see a permission option called Organization. If you select this permission option, only those people within your organization will have access to your mix. Since this permission setting requires that visitors sign in before viewing your Mix, you will be able to see each visitor name and their related analytics.
Setting your permissions to Limited:
Will mean that anyone with a link to my Mix can watch it once they’ve signed in.
Setting your permissions to Unlisted:
Will mean that anyone with a link to my Mix can watch it and they will not be required to sign in.
Lastly, setting your permissions to Public:
Will mean that anyone can search for your Mix and view it without signing in.
Your Mix content can be embedded within Learning Management Systems and portals. Mix content can be Uploaded to Office Mix, exported to video, uploaded to Office 365 Video, and exported as a SCORM package.
